Slift
You’re a very naughty boy!
Real average is -15p.
I.e. free carry.
Bidds,
Yes ofcourse I know that. Shh!
3.6p was the share price value of HUR on the date of accounting ;)
But ofcourse hasiba doesn't pick that up.
Slift
Can’t believe that you of all people don’t understand the CA NAV statement. They revalue their holdings to market value each month and take gains/losses into the fund value. The 3.6p that you calculated was the market value of their shares on the valuation date!
DYOR GLA
Hi Slift,
Perhaps if you show your calculations you'd get more acceptance.
As a former US President advised, "Trust but verify"
Slift.......please call CA tomorrow and give them some of your free sound advice!
Or just tell them to sell and cut their millions of losses?
Are you a programmed robot !lol
Okay fine!
You got me!
Double your holding on your calculation and buy more please!
Some really dodgy maths here.
Crystal Amber's 11th March 2021Monthly Net Asset Value report showed that they had 11.8% of share equity (235,040,844 shares) at an average price of 10.2p.
Last week it was confirmed that they bought a further 2.7% of share equity (50,195,163 shares) at circa 2.7p.
Difficult to see how the average has now fallen sub 5p based on those figures and share allocation.
Using the SUMPRODUCT Weighted Average figure in Excel one can hypothesis that the revised average once announced the this month's Net Asset Value report will be 8.88p. This sounds more right but happy to be corrected if there is a better Excel function.
Stay Strong!
Hasiba,
No matter what you say, i'm not deluded :)
I'm 100% certain CA's average is approx. 3.46p/share currently.
I'll be the "absolute idiot" who can use maths to work out averages sure :)
But hey, you keep reading 2017 articles and buy more here. Follow CA like a sheep and keep adding hasiba.
Rather be an idiot than be a sheep.
You say i'm a failed investor yet you don't post your percentage gain here lol.
All the best to you.
Slift...when you get things wrong you become abusive and mocking others....
You are an absolute idiot....and don’t want to learn ..fair enough carry on failed investor..
Even if CA made more profits..they are still carrying huge loss at current SP...
There is always a good reason why one fails in investing and you are the perfect example ..
Lol hasiba..
You really are making yourself look like a fool by posting articles from 2017, but don't know the FACTS whereby Crystal Amber took profits.
Here are the facts:

I think that's enough mockery for one day.
Slift is simply a bad loser and I can’t see him learning from his investments mistakes which is really sad ,and a disaster by his making...
let’s wish him good luck
With Brent at a decent level once again. HUR becomes a much better viable investment. The Mcap is way too low atm and will make gains if POO stays at realistic levels to ensure payments can be made next year. I am sure CA realise this and are not averaging down to throw good money after bad. GL whatever you decide.
Slift, If it makes you happy (as it certainly seems to), we can say CA got the shares for free! However, no one can deny the fact that CA’s recent significant further purchases of HUR shares are extremely positive here, if CA were offloading instead, trolls would be blowing their trumpets all over!

Facts...
“ Crystal Amber stressed that it “believes in the strategic value of Hurricane's asset base.”
The fund currently holds 150,000,000 shares in Hurricane at an average cost of 23p a share.
In addition, Crystal Amber holds warrants over 23.3 million shares exercisable at 20p a share.
The fund has previously realised profits on its Hurricane investment of £15.7mln.”

But following recent buys, CA's average is approx. 3.46p.
“But for arguement sake, let's say CA's average is 9p.
With 14.32% of shares (285m shares), and current share price of 2.5p.. CA is at -£18.5m.
But CA is also up £43m in the past.
So overall, if CA sell at 2.5p, they are up £24.5m.”
If CA wanted to sell, then they would obviously not have just increased their stake here, and by such a significant amount, plus in a share with a relatively high spread to trade, so clearly no plan to sell by CA, and certainly not at these nonsense extreme lowball levels/MCAP, DYOR.
Slift...you keep on posting the wrong information....deramping a share that you have zero holding!
You sold last November at around 2.70 p and lost a small fortune ...and I am genuinely sorry for you .
Unfortunately you never managed to come into term with your loss....it’s becoming obsession with you ..I never come across an investor who tormented himself to your degree and constantly antagonistic to all holders here...
Read this to get your facts right...

I hope you recover your loss with your other investments..

lol..
far lower than CA? CA's average is prob like 5-6p after recent buys.
But for arguement sake, let's say CA's average is 9p.
With 14.32% of shares (285m shares), and current share price of 2.5p.. CA is at -£18.5m.
But CA is also up £43m in the past.
So overall, if CA sell at 2.5p, they are up £24.5m.
Trolls time is truly over?
Well i'm sure ramp time will be over after significant dilution.
Average paid by CA is around 8.5p and see long term value on top...hey!
Will never sell a single share of my holdings with very low average...far far lower than CA ....ah well it’s good to be here and holding then...and what’s good for CA is great for me..
Just ignore the pathetic trolls and be a little longer patient.
Trolls time is truly over..
