Warren Buffet: “Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don’t have the first, the other two will kill you."
Sandy - how uncanny!
Nick Tulloch, FD highlands - "There has been a little bit of confusion amongst our shareholders, we have no plans to do a fundraise in connection with our OTC listing".
Confusion?
"In a recent interview NT was very specific about there not being a raise 'in relation to the OTC listing'
I wondered if these words were strategically chosen at the time.............!"
Look back at my posts, I explicitly highlighted this at the time but was called a deramper.
RP states we did not need to raise the money .......... then why offer the shares at such a low price ! Why not charge a premium to this group of high net worth individuals, especially as they found Highlands ‘highly attractive ! I fear more lies from this man. If this was truly the case charge a premium, see how ‘keen’ they are to invest, or tell them to buy on the open market, like the rest of us. Why were we ‘keen’ to accept the investment if our new business has the fantastic opportunity ahead, as keeps being mentioned. I would suggest RP is out of his depth here as he has excepted this offer based on ‘their experience and connections’. Clearly then RP you don’t have much faith in your own capabilities to make this new venture a success. Waiving the bonus for the following financial year is no real offer from RP. The company now has nothing else to fall back on. This new venture either works in the next 12 months, stands on its own two feet and brings in considerable revenue at good profit margins, or if it fails to do this the company doesn’t survive and RP wouldn’t have a received a bonus anyway !
Zoetic - the new Uranium and Helium!
"Zoetic is yet to be made self-sustainable."
Quelle surprise!
44 shops. And not a hint of embarrassment.
That's chutzpah right there!
Since the launch of Zoetic in April, the company has seen its products stocked in 44 stores across the US. It is expected that this number could be doubled by the end of September. Despite this, and the brand’s UK launch, Zoetic is yet to be made self-sustainable.
However, as a vertically-integrated Cannabis company, HNR believes that this will soon change. The US CBD market is currently estimated to be worth $5 billion and is expected to grow to $23.7 billion by 2023.
oNCo, Being an Oxford graduate NT is no doubt versed in the art of sophistry and obscurantism. He , presumably, knows the audience he is addressing (honourable mentions must be made for gallini and OSG). Today's RNS and AGM releases are fine examples of the art and yet some will not read the subtext or the truth hiding in plain sight.
Remember his answers for the reasons for the inclusion of resolutions 7 & 8? Or the re-denomination of the shares?
Some here were lapping it up not understanding an iota of what was being proposed.
One only has to look at the Oxford and Cambridge graduates occupying the corridors of power in Westminster to tell you what fine bastions of integrity and morality those two institutions are.
In a recent interview NT was very specific about there not being a raise 'in relation to the OTC listing'
I wondered if these words were strategically chosen at the time.............
Sell up then bs
Are you ok gallini? You seem somewhat perturbed. What has got you so miffed?
How would my selling help your case?
Should you not be concentrating on your own investment decisions?
I am simply expressing my opinions as you are - and everyone else for that matter. Although I note that some of the gang are conspicuous by their absence! Must be out shopping no doubt.
Sell up then bs
"I am sure just saying follow your own advice"
Luckily I do not follow anyone else's. Otherwise I should be in a right pickle.
I am sure just saying follow your own advice
gallini, Hand on heart I can say that you have truly a very bright future in the investment field.
Yes, but if you sell now and buyback at your price you stated earlier you will accumlate more shares.
"Why don't use sell up and buy back at 4p?"
Because I do not wish to take a gargantuan loss. And because I love HNR and RP. And the honesty. And the promises. And the bonuses. And the salary. And Jam.
Why don't use sell up and buy back at 4p?
Were you, or any of the gang, consulted gallini?
"As an aside, and irrespective of FCA/LSE rules, my career as a financial adviser impressed upon me the importance of consulting with shareholders ahead of any significant corporate action a company may take."
gallini, "Sell up then BS"
Not on your nelly gallini. Not whilst seasoned professional investors like your good self, HD, OSG, BH, BS15 et all are still invested here.
I continue to average down. RP need to eat after all!
Sell up then BS
Did Nick Tulloch mention any fundraising in the flurry of recent interviews? I seem to have missed that.
How convenient!
I truly (pun intended) hope the during the period of reduced production in the early part of August True will have taken the opportunity to execute and complete any other workovers or any other routine 'downtime' maintenance required on the remaining wells so there should be no downtime between now and the end of 2019.
