I don't the answer but there must be a reason they are billionaires and you're a deckhand.
Did RP ever reveal who the unknown investor was after the two ED wells ? No he did not, so what makes you think anyyjing will change?. This looks like a similar situation. Talk about people never learning from their mistakes.
Multi-Millionaire investors just turn up out the blue (believable), these investors could probably afford to buy the company out right if they choose to do so. So why invest so little ? So these successful millionaires who could afford to buy more and basically have enough share to get a seat on the BOD are happy just to sit there like us mugs without any say. I get a little feeling RP's in the process of reeling people in yet again. He treats his LTH like SHT. with no comeback or accountability.
#yawn
The HNWI will be in this to make as much money as they can. I am sure they know that a fair amount of stock is in the hands of LTHs who will not be in a position to sell even if the SP were to double or triple. What a great scenario, ...loads of cheap shares for us and very few seller. No doubt will probably reveal who the investors are at some point, boosting the SP so that they can offload at a quick profit.
Every man and his dog will take their profits (if any) on HNR before the LTHs even see break even!
Fredr - 'why not just buy shares on the open market'.
Fredr - most likely they are buying shares on the open market right now.
'325k is a paltry sum frankly and does not merit any special favours.' - it does merit a lot of special favours and improves Zoetic commercialization. Something for something.
Business is business.
Nor the new investors or LTH's will get any poorer from now onwards.
If they bought them on the open market then HNR wouldn't have had this cash injection
Yes the investors have taken a position & given us a helping hand. I understand there’s more money available but for now the investor is just below the notifiable limit, possibly for any number of reasons. But once the company demonstrates further progress in this area I would expect a bigger stakeholder accumulation & a more public / prominent position.
'Once again smoke and mirrors being played out here.' Exactly.
If theses so called HNWI are so 'intrigued' by the HNR CBD story as claimed, why not just buy shares on the open market? Would have increased the SP for all of us. But oh no, we will go and chat to mug RP and get him to hand out some nice cheap shares in return for some unspecified promises. And dilute the long suffering LTHs just a wee bit more. 325k is a paltry sum frankly and does not merit any special favours.
gallini - really good point you have. They may be buying slowly now and if named punters would jump here on HNR shares and that would be it for them. No more cheap HNR shares for them.
Really interesting times ahead.
10p soon.
Just reading between the lines, I wonder from Nick’s comments when they don’t want to be named at this stage. Perhaps they are accumulating more on the open market. Time will tell either way,
I’ve been given the recent news of our new HNW investors a considerable amount of thought. A number of investors here are clearly excited by the news, and to be fair there was a time, and not so long ago, that I too would have been lifted by the news and probably, as I have in the past, been wanting to invest more here on such news. So what’s changed. The big one for me is the lack of trust in RP and not taking everything, or should I say more to the point, anything he says as face value. I am not going to use this post as an anti RP and drag up the past, instead I want to be more constructive. So, we know we have a group of HNW individuals that have just invested here. Am i excited by this, no ! HNW individuals, would it be fair to say by that statement they are multi-millionaires. A group of them, so more than two, let’s be fair to Highlands here and say three. So without RP spin on this, the facts are approx three, certainly no less, HNW individuals have invested, as a group, £353,000. That’s approx £100k each. Not a lot really is it, seeing as these individuals are HNW. I bet as a percentage of their worth, and the percentage of most of our worth, our being existing investors, we have risked / invested so much more than this group. So what is there to be excited about. RP, once again, has made this out to be something amazing. Well, the facts aren’t telling me to be too excited. The truth is, if we all stop and think about this, a greater number of us LTH have more invested / risked as a total of our Nett worth much more than these guys, who really, lets be honest, aren’t going to offer us that much with just £100k each (guesstimate) invested. Once again smoke and mirrors being played out here. I do believe the CBD market is huge. I believe there is potential to make considerable money within the industry. I am no longer being naive as I have done here in the past by taking what RP says as face value. Therefore, at this moment in time, the news of these new investors, which such a small amount invested doesn’t excite me.
6's been and gone. ..I don't think 7's will last too long either. ..
Over the worst I certainly think we are. ..IMHO.
You aint seen nothing yet!!
This is what happens when you got the big boys backing you.

What an exciting time to be in for buzz product. I wonder if the name of the billionaire will come out in the next few weeks?
Great sounds good to me!
From around 14mins in the latest podcast Nick Tulloch mentions "pretty close" and "coming weeks"
Iamnotsparticus,
You seem to know the OTC rules so I bow to your authority in that regard. The way you put it seems very positive, which is great,........any idea how long said application typically takes?
IIRC there was the option to go up to 100 acres outside, subject to lease agreements with the farmers, so I wonder if some of the funds will be used to get the extra land.
