Well, maybe we're about to find out who's in the fighting force of extraordinary magnitude...
The IPO might fly as a "growth" opportunity. Would need some big backers though. Is AC "the chosen one" or have we been hoodwinked?!?!
Funds to come from the asset sales, and the big boys buying in perhaps on an IPO? Demonstrating ESG credentials by supporting large scale CCUS, might make a successful IPO if well handled and marketed, something different at least. Reality and payback years away, but initial investment objective would be growth. Pioneering project for O&G's and N Sea's declining years? News soon hopefully. Fantastic research from Gw W$ etc, thanks. Nul points for AC's communication.
What income does HALO have now then? How do they fund overheads and CAPEX?
Hydrogen production and CCS is the future but where is the cash coming from?
It is years away from reality.
Doesnt add up to be honest. No choice but to wait for Announcement.
I am with on this investors first, media second, as for Costs & liabilities well of course increased give timeline but surely anyone with sense or business acumen would have factored these in when discussing decommissioning ???? Answers needed urgently here where we’re at as a business? How much was paid for assets? What’s in the kitty? And how much coming back to us? Possibly time for us p.i. S us engage solicitor given larger shareholders have either been given info, which we’ve not not or sweetener family that anyone fancy a trip to Holland door step Mr Cochran as I gather that’s where he lives
...what the actual fk. This guy can talk to the media but not shareholders. AC is taking the urine.....hmph!
ditto that easy
I've just emailed the story to an O&G journo friend of mine
W$
What I was really driving was not all investors large and small can be on same page as Andy C. And given timeline just a impatience as us we need answers and hopefully if no news forthcoming before we’ll be able to challenge at AGM hopefully covid won’t blindside us. I am not one for every titbit BUT this is just absurd
Kept in dark and fed **** by halo for last four years. Until we have some clarification we are just speculation on everything from sale, carbon capture, assets, funds. I’ve used this word many times here but we are all just been treated with contempt. Just one question where are all institutional investors in all this nothing from them either or is it just us being kept like mushrooms.
If we get our money back then yes. If we don’t then all knowledge will be denied!!
I may have sent an email to HALO via the Company website asking for the company to be sold to Rockrose or AA at Kistos. I did it months ago. Imagine if that was AC’s light bulb moment. Lol
ghost
in all likelihood does this not infer we have been sold lock stock and barrel to Rockrose ?
W$
If HALO IPO I bet the Sp would drop faster than a *****s drawers ...lol...There would be no liquidity to sell the shares, it would be like a stress dream. Where is the income coming from? What are new investors buying in to? Hopefully Cochran will spill the beans soon enough.
Cochran will likely sit on the cash pile, pay his salary and offer jam tomorrow until all the cash has gone. I would sooner get a dividend equal to my money back plus some and then sit back and watch the free ride.
50p per share and fk the IPO !!
...Maybe?...naaah the cash is AC's pension fund.
Anyone like to proffer a guess on what could be best and worse case scenarios for PIs here, based on Viaro/rockrose acquiring our Dutch assets ?
Something to do until announcement is made official.
Didn’t appreciate Rockrose bought Dyas nV in 2018 - not a bad price either

Hi easy - plug in https://haloil.co.uk/ to your search engine
Tried looking for HNL website this morning see if and RNS but can’t find it found some old reports and news but no website which I have seen before. As for issue of no news after Ghostwriter info yesterday total contempt as usual as for my investment!!!!!well I gave up on that long ago was a punt in first place but no one like lose cash only positive for me was a bundle. As I said last year I can see the words NO MATERIAL VALUE coming the very near future like I had with circle oil (COP) a few years back
Key steps to net-zero in 2050
Fossil fuel use falls drastically in the net-zero emissions scenario by 2050, and no new oil and natural gas fields are required beyond those that have already been approved for development. No new coal mines or mine extensions are required.
Emissions from electricity generation fall to net-zero in advanced economies by 2035 and globally by 2040. Renewables drive the transformation, up from 29% of generation in 2020 to nearly 90% in 2050.
The number of public charging points for electric cars rises from around one million today to 40 million by 2030, requiring an annual investment of $90bn by the end of the decade.
By 2035, nearly all cars sold globally are electric, and by 2050 nearly all heavy trucks sold are fuel cell or electric.
Per capita income from oil and gas in countries that rely on fossil fuel production falls by around 75% from $1,800 to $450 by the 2030s.
Ghost, also thanks for your efforts and for your well worded letter. Let's hope we get some response this time.
Ghost, thanks for all the work. I hope a response is received with some good news. It has been a very long time since suspension.
.....Looking healthy. €20-21. Some life in the old dog yet..;o)) No excuse for dire pessimism now.
