I was yes.
Ah sorry Graham, were you referring to EdGasket?
Not quite missed . . . got on the boat, with all my spare worldly belongings at 42 ;-)
Not bad for your second post on here guess you missed the boat. It won't drop back down to 48p so if you want in you better hurry up.
Be interested to know what the Directors share prices average in at. Anyone??
I just can't see an offer as low as 48p being tabled. AVG will know that it would be a complete waste of their time and energy. They may well be opportunists, but I would also take an educated guess and say they are fully aware that a financing resolution is pretty much a dead cert and that HAYT's secured/future order book and probable order book both look healthy. That is only my opinion of course but at 48p they know they'll be laughed out of the door, surely....? Doesn't make business sense, may as well stay at home.
Put me down for a bid at 48p That would be 20% above asset value and 33% above pre-bid price. Then it will be rejected, probably end of story. They should sort out the finance though and recover in their own right. The bid is just opportunistic as HAYT are short on cash.
Thanks shan, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer that for me, very informative. If the opportunity arises I was potentially looking to sell at around 67p. I might take a closer look at that plan as all things considered mid seventies may not be so greedy. Thanks again . . .
Hi chanjael Book valye per share = shareholders equity divided by number of shares in circulation the shareholders equity is simply the assets minus the liabilities and these can be found in the balance sheet. So in this case, the last set of results were the interims in November - from the balance sheet: the shareholders equity is (64-32-12=20). or to be precise: £20,588,000 the number of shares in circulation is 55,390,000. Therefore, 20,588,000 divided by 55,390,000 = 37.1 pence (apologies i wrote 36p but I calculated on iphone!). as i wrote last night too, there are several different ways to calculate company value. another popular method is enterprise value: this is very shortly, market value + debt - cash which at the time negotiations starting was about £40m - which takes the share price to about 65-70p. hope that helps and apologies to everyone for clogging the board with financials! I have wrote more on my financial analysis GC thread if anyone is interested! regards
Are you entering the competition? Very welcome
There we have it, they hold a 16.48% stake all told. Has anyone bothered to tally up the rest? The longer this offer takes to come we may hope for further price appreciation but it appears like most of the big holders have declared now and in such short space of time as obliged to do might the offer now be announced this week.
You two play nice! :D
Glad you agree lol. When I win the champagne can you donate it to a charity of your choice please
Well I wasn't pleased when it was announced but we are back towards a more appropriate level and no deal confirmation in sight. Perhaps the update was to spark some interest among our influential cornerstone investors to take up some more HAYT stock and deny AVG the chance of a cheap bid. Still hoping refinancing will be sorted before any offer is finalised.
There's that 500 again.
Unfortunately there are many posters like me on LSE, amateurs who post to suit our position so DYOR as WTFDIK
hovered at the 23.6% Fibonacci line around 50 and bounced off the 50 day moving average line We have since broke that resistance today closing at 54??, the next target should be 58-60 area. Which corresponds to the 38.2% Fib line (58.156) and 100 day moving average (60.84) Should be out @ 68 the 50% retracement, expect strong resistance at 70
Bit of a leaky one this isn't it, how do they get to find out though and who
Great post flundra! The heavy buying continues 56p on the ask
Just waiting for the announcement now today or in the morning is the question
Another leak.
Judging by the premium being paid don't think there are to many shares available
Guess they need sellers to fill them.

Evening all, I'm new to this board as I am to the AIM world (currently hold shares in MRO, TCG, TW). I bought in to HAYT on 29/03 and was stunned to see it hit 55p on 31/03. Big spread (which I'm not used to) but kind of wished I'd pocketed the 50p I was offered. Just wondered if anyone can throw any light on why it has dropped back to mid forties so quickly, particularly with a t/o looking likely? Also, a quick question for Shan. Why is the book value around 36p? Not doubting you just keen to know how you came to that figure. Also, if I'm allowed to throw my new hat in to the champers ring, I'll take a punt at 67p offer price. Is an announcement likely prior to 28/04 would you all say? Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better . . .
