Hi Funkysausage,
I'm not convinced that is the case but if it is we could be be waiting quite a while. The Siege licence is still awaiting a decision.
From the RNS
'Completion will occur once the Star Zinc Project Licence has been assigned to Siege.'
After re reading the update on strategy rns, it says we will be drilling After the star project completes, I'm guessing we are waiting for the payment/s before we start drilling as it says following completion
I could be wrong, if we have already recieved payment
Kalahari Exploration: Following the completion of the sale of its interest in the Star Zinc Project, the Company's immediate focus will be exploration activities in Botswana where the Company has 15 licences in the Kalahari Copper Belt in highly prospective areas, two of which were the subject of the Heliborne-EM geophysical surveying announced on 23 November 2020. The results of the Heliborne-EM geophysical surveying are sufficiently robust that the Company expects to announce the commissioning of initial reconnaissance drilling program within the month. The Company has also identified two further areas for Heliborne-EM geophysical surveying.
Ferber Project: The Company has maintained its licences at its Ferber project in Nevada in the United States and in view of the prospectivity is finalising a reconnaissance drilling / exploration program to be undertaken prior to renewal in August 2021.
Funky
Been in and out of GLR, currently been in for a while. I thought CB had improved re communications, maybe not! Irrespective I am very happy continuing to hold as I reckoned at the time the Kalahari deal was a good one and I still do. Come on Colin let’s have some good news please.

The above released on the 4th March indicates to me that they have the results of their survey but something has delayed things. I just want to know what as that is very specific. within the month.
Maybe Sandfire will just buy us out for a tidy sum :) I can dream.
Thast should read Information on the delay in our drill for whatever reason would just be apprciated no matter what caused it.
I think my main gripe is the delay. XTR have had regular news including an RNS merely stating they have pausded drilling due to it raining a couple of days. This information is not really required as people have no idea when a drill will be complete anyway. The point being news was released for in my view a minor issue. A delay in our dril for whatever reason would just be apprciated no matter what caused it. There have been 2 occurrences (maybe more) where Colin has indicated drilling would commence by the end of March - and infact in the ZAk Mirs interview he said he was hoping for the 3rd week of March. We are now nearly in the 3rd week of April without a sniff of news ?
Other than that, I am very happy to be here and very optimistic. It is not just news releases, communication in general is dire and I have yet to receive one reply from any customer relations via info@galileo email address.
Castiron - From the various, recent inputs on this board, I have seen no indications from any contributor pointing to he/she being an academic of any significant depth. Not that this is meant to be a criticism by the way!
Moving on, and for Billy. Whilst the SP has certainly dropped for the last 2 days, don`t forget that, previously, it had increased significantly (albeit, as a likely justification (and as previously suggested), probably because of some large wads added for the 2021 ISA opportunity).
Now Billy, my views on the lack of an RNS or two. Bearing in mind that there are occasions when an RNS has to be notified (eg warrants, placements, directors purchases/sales etc) the other, most likely occasion would be when there is new information of an event that is regarded as GOOD news. Why? - because that ought to push up the SP. Conversely, bad news, de facto, would likely do the opposite. In GLR`s case, a bland, `no news` RNS would serve no useful purpose. If we take the recent helicopter survey just AS AN EXAMPLE. It seems to me that there could be 3 reasons why we have heard nothing (unless I have missed it!).
Firstly, the analysis is not yet complete - ergo, not worth an RNS. Alternatively, the results are in, but perhaps disappointing - not what everybody is hoping for (and anticipating?) - hence a likely drop in SP. Lastly, the results are in and are positive - obviously, this would generate an RNS. So Billy, I hope that my thoughts on the current lack of any RNS may explain the likely reason why, both in GLR`s case and, more generally, within the general (though my somewhat simplistic) rationale of RNS issues.
Presently, in GLR`s case I think that you can assume there is no significant news that would be greeted positively. Certainly, the lack of an RNS will not be because Bird is just too busy.
Everyone needs to show a little more respect for each other. But this SP slowly declining isn't looking good
FSarcy. Thanks for the vitriol, nice start to the day! And I only asked you to show a little more patience!
FYI. Ive been on this BB a year due to being laid off through Covid, no furlough...... I’m back grafting now thank God. I’m a labourer, digging trial pits today by hand, hoping at this stage that the ground is not too frozen. I’m not an academic, such as yourself, and thrive more on hope and banter.......my peanuts are, however, as important to me and my family as your millions.
I did ask you to “please” give it a little longer
Sorry to have upset you.

Whos flapping ? I'm guessing you don't know either
I dont generally invest of the back just wait and see, I normally look at company statements and rns and websites, news etc, which says we should be drilling exploration holes in the Kalahari and then Nevada, now maybe if I messed around with peanuts and flicked a few hundred quid in a month I wouldn't care, personally I would like to see some drilling data and what potential we have with targets and grades, or should we just plod along on a punt, waiting to be diluted to keep the lights on, I can see your account is still in the months amd your generally chit chat is just that, nothing factual or substantial, just a few pats on the back, but thanks for the help and information I will take note of your outstanding contributions to the board and twiddle my thumbs until the company gets round to updating us.
Funky
FFS,FS, by your own admission you are only here 5 minutes, please give it another 5 before flapping. Couldn’t agree more WRT except I would give Birdy more space rather than Billy.
It’s been a long journey, only a little more patience required.

Hi whowrotethis
Sorry I'm very green here, I was under the impression we would be drilling.
The company strategy update in the last rns says we will be focusing on Botswana and the Kalahari licences for exploration drilling, we also have Ferber that needs to be drilled would need analysing before renewal of the licence, Ferber needs to be done before August renewal.
Ferber Project: The Company has maintained its licences at its Ferber project in Nevada in the United States and in view of the prospectivity is finalising a reconnaissance drilling / exploration program to be undertaken prior to renewal in August 2021.
So if we aren't drilling who is and what ?
I have only just invested and was under the impression we would be drilling soon enough
Funky
Give Billy some space ... the process of drilling will happen and timings of the actual process will depend upon multiple factors. I really don't understand the anxiety as we have just had Easter and we are in a pandemic. CB might have mused on getting it going but GLR aren't doing the drilling so are beholden to other companies to put all the things in place. We all know it can be a nightmare finding a plumber so imagine sorting this out.
You’re beginning to repeat yourself Billy ........ LOl

Fed up with it now, its not hard to just drop a little bit of communication
