You are quite right. This kind of ignorance from 3CB is what makes BBs such a joke. They just invest as if it is a lucky-dip - which it may actually be !!
So would my research have come up with your assertion of a fabulous world class asset or others' assertions that there is potential, being near to a world class asset.
You should be careful how you choose your words or are they intended for non holders looking for somewhere to put their hard earned.
At the moment Kamativi owners are on the carcass. GLR are grubbing around the carcass scraps. That may or may not change.
On the face of it the grades aren’t that noteworthy, but I suppose this initial programme has given an understanding of the lie of the land and shows widespread lithium presence. Presumably the next drills will be the ones to confirm or otherwise.
Given how long these ones took that will be 2025 though.
Maybe the experts next door at the big kamativi might see it differently and want to gobble it up who knows
Typo butler
Thanks butter. A less evasive , more balanced response than Ana's
Commercial grades are usually 0.5%+. So these results are little underwhelming on their own. Sure, further drilling may hit better grades, but I can’t say that this RNS has got me excited.
Ana. As ever you are very positive over a glr rns but could you please explain to us mere mortals your opinion of just how good an average 0.26% lithium actually is. For all I know it
could be world class but if, say, it was a copper play, that would be hugely disappointing and currently uneconomic
to mine eg XTR Bushranger
This is mega news
Lithium rns out
You wont be proven wrong, Colin has been doing the same thing for years
Colin Bird’s AIM record (as of March 24):
Time he became CEO of BZT- SP 0.5….now 0.02 (over 95% down)
Time he became CEO of XTR- SP 10...now 0.9
Time he became CEO of Galileo 7.38...now 1.0
A lot of money has been paid by private investors to fund these ‘companies’ but the more interesting question is how much money has been paid to Colin Bird, over these periods?
Thanks Analytical -two edged sword -in someways good to see progress nearby but in other ways gives the appearance that the Birdman and the board are not currently delivering any tangible value for shareholders -if others can progress why can’t Glr.
Can’t wait to be proved wrong
It would also be good to get an update on the SFR situation?
Old news that.. we need birdy to update re drill results and the talks throughout November and December. Unless his ......
Sounds like a better payday to me iky )
Exactly why I've always said the Chinese are masters at business, the west is lagging behind.
One of the big reasons our kamatavi talks "stalled" cb not allowing to get "mugged off".
I think that could be the case CHRI5P. Alot did happen in kamativi and bulwayo at the back end of thr Yr. The AGM was November and the RNS reported up to September as you say. No info in the "post period under review section" which would have been the ideal time to mention the expenditure and the increase in holding. I'm not particularly worried, just asking to have it cleared up
Data the results are for pre September 30 2023 so maybe it was changed a while back just in case the money was not spent pre Jan 21 2024?
Actually looking at the trades there was 1.5million trade first thing today that looks like a buy so who knows
Can buy for 1.06 now so it does seem that no deal is imminent, I do agree there is normally some strong buying pre a decent CB announcement. Hopefully something later in the year with an uptick in copper, or we get it into production.
I liked the sound of Colin's local associates on the recent AFP podcast where they covered Luansobe and its strong potential especially considering the Mopani deal.
Hi AgentSmyth
I contacted Joel on Whatsapp regarding our holding in BC ventures, he said he would email back and im still waiting. ill chase him up.
at the AGM, CB definitely said we had settled our expenditure on Luansobe (£4m), Kamativi (£1.5m) stating we had actually spent £1.75m, and Shinganda (£500k)
so by rights, we should now own 80% of BC ventures a stated in the 24th July 2023 RNS
the half year report on 28th December never mentioned the above and still spoke in the past tense as if we still have to spend the money to gain the remaining 51%.
ill feed back on the BB when Joel Confirms
They were buys when the spread was 15% earlier, looks like sells now the spread reduced, mm trickery imo
Yes Agent I missed that. It would IMO slow the sale process up because we will need to own the 80% first.
3 large sells to start the day, hence the price fall.
Luansombe looks to me the most likely asset sale first if there is to be one.
I will accumulate more if price falls below 1p
I think Colin has dozed off on his rockin chair. I have never known him so quiet across his Companies. Hopefully will produce some good news soon, whether at AFP or Kamativi.
Hey CHRI5P, I was expecting an RNS today with regards to increasing our shareholding in BC Ventures from 29% to 80 % by the 21 January 2024. However, after re-reading the half year report there was an extension granted to spending the $1.5M required to increase our holding. The extended deadline is 21 July 2024, so I doubt there will be any news regarding this today unfortunately.
GLR own 29% of BC Ventures (who were the sellers of bulawayo and Kamativi) and the end date for spending £1.5 million to aquire 51% of BC Ventures is on the 21st January 2024. I expect news to confirm 80% ownership of BC Ventures very soon. I am sure it's not been announced yet and any offer might need to pre date this announcement of 80% ownership of BC Ventures. Just a thought.
