@LL where did you read about this £200m spend?!
I’ve read the Uk government has spent over 200 million on lab equipment over the past two weeks. I’ve been trying to research but can’t find Out who’s lab equipment it is. Anyone know?
I believe there have been sales, as mentioned on their website in Europe, also recently in South Africa through their distributor. How much sales? No idea, but I believe it will be revealed in the upcoming trading update, which is due.
@Allah, it’s easy to judge people , but we don’t really know what’s going on other side (good or bad) , he is not a great communicator and not promoting enough , but constant criticism on the company you are invested is not good. I agree with most of your points.
Yes NCYT did exactly what I would expect GDR to do. Update on sales as and when they come early on, as initial sales are likely to have a large impact on the share price and give the market confidence.
I firmly believe we would have done the same had we had sales. If we have had sales and DB has kept them from us then questions really do need to be asked.
NCYT regularly gave sales updates after they obtained the CE mark.
People complained because they never gave specific numbers for the US, mostly due to NDA, and rightfully people weren't too happy with that. But at least the company made general comments on that market.
At some point NCYT decided to stop dropping frequent sales RNS, which was met with some regret, but the announcement of landmark contracts has shut people up.
The morale of the story is that a company may afford *not* to regularly report on its sales - but only after it has reassured its shareholders that it is effectively able to deliver on the commercial aspect.
And in that light, no, GDR isn't about to become NCYT Mk2. Not anytime soon.
It had the potential to, but the company's engineers and shareholders were let down by the management.
GDR will get sales, but won't achieve its full potential until it has gotten rid of its current CEO.
Earl needs to go back to watching wolf of wall street on repeat the bafoon , honestly the things some people come out with be it ramp or de ramp just make me laugh, I doubt he holds any investments
NCYT were constantly updating the market with sales figures early on, including March 2020. Maybe I am misunderstanding?
DrMichaels,
Obviously NCYT did not withhold information.
Earl jut needs to justify his investment decisions, which is why such outlandish statements are made.
So what your saying is NCYT withheld market sensitive information as they was too busy to update the markets , mmmm... think you’ll find that’s illegal and I’m sure the excuse we was just to busy won’t wash , someone else who has no idea what there on about , the lower the price goes the standard of posts seems to follow
#ncyt March 2020 (was my response time)
Allah4Uk
really Allah is for the universe, anyway,
I remember #ncyt wasn't updating the markets regarding the sales figures and all derampers jumped on the band wagon saying NCYT not selling!!
my response was at the time " NCYT are too busy to think about updating the sales figures, they have focused their energy and time to fulfil orders"
I think this could be NCYT Mk2!!

Option 1 : GDR made practically zero sales and so couldn't release an RNS => commercial incompetence.
Option 2 : GDR made substantial sales but didn't bother releasing an RNS => investors' relationship incompetence.
