Hi Safy,
I have always believed that to review statements, and check their meaning, and to listen to different takes on statements, is good.
Reading the statement again that you have quoted, very reasonably:
The May 22 RNS from GDR says this:
Following CE-IVD marking, the Company can commence commercial sales in the UK and across the EU immediately. The Company will now begin distribution to potential customers for initial clinical evaluations, and aims to record first commercial sales in June.
'I can see that the above statement, looks to be only pointed at the UK and the EU' ?
However, the way I read the meaning of this statement is:
'Now that GDR have the CE-IVD marking, they 'CAN' not only commence commercial sales in the UK and across the EU immediately, but that they can now also send out Test Kits for evaluation to markets all over the world '! The principal being that having the CE-IVD Mark will go along way in helping to get Country Specific Approvals, in countries outside UK and EU.
We know that DB said 'since receiving the CE-IVD Mark, on the 22nd May, GDR set about manufacturing 60.000 kits, to send out to global markets'. These 60,000 Test kits were sent out to Global markets, on the 29th May.
I have always believed that GDR are more focused on orders from Countries such as India and Africa, but that this would not stop them pursuing orders in the UK and EU. After all, what CEO would not want the problem of where to sell orders too first UK . EU. India, Africa, etc.
The fact that GHIF are into supporting Countries like India and Africa, in particular, and GHIF currently own 13.66% of GDR, kind of supports this theory to me.
I realise that not everyone will agree with my take on this, and see the statement as only talking about sales in the UK and EU, but this just to share my view !
I believe that orders have already been agreed, with some potential customers, and are subject to certain Approvals - why would this not be the case with GDR's Gold Standard Test ?
I also would not be surprised if Test Kits are being manufactured in readiness to export.
"I call a truce then. Let try and be constructive on these boards without the mud slinging and personal attacks and just keep it about the company"
And stop the bl00dy ramping!
ST - Still on your high horse
I am invested because GDR operate in a market where there is huge demand, its as simple as that. You keep bloody singling me out for deramping, look around and i told you yesterday, go through ALL of todays posts, all of yesterdays posts, and tell me if they are of your mindset or mine. Thats called sentiment analysis. Learn it, its a massively useful trait to have.
Your glass is always full for GDR, that is your biggest weakness.
You cant help but have digs, even when your trying to be civil, you just cant help it. If indeed i am invested here...if you were trying to be civil why would you write that?
I am NOT deramping, nor are ALL the others who post here. I would go as far as saying 90% of all people who posted today share the SAME opinion as me. Please read up objectively.
The negativity stems from you, EVERYONE is trying to prove you and a handful of guys who have a similar mindset to you wrong. Accept we have differences, dont attack people who share different opinions. Learn some bb etiquette.
Safy - ST
Both of you make great contribution on this BB.
Its best you drop the insults and move on. cheers
ST
I tolerated you like most did on here, read the sentiment on the board FFS, Surely you cannot be that delusional that you cant understand what we are all saying.
Im not like you, mums teeth insult, thats what you said right.... we all read it. Intellectual disagreements are one thing but throwing insults like your mum...... thats low
Threatening to go on ODX yesterday because im invested there to deramp to hurt me even though i rarely post there
Now your saying he started it first
You've shown your true colours today. Well done.
Oh i can take it.... post anything you like. It'll just show you up for what you really are.
Ethio
I think you will find only 3-4 people on here dislike my contributions, the majority are in line with what i post and i am in line with what they post. Read the sentiment of the other posters.
I dont need to say anything more. ST has lost all credibility, spitting his dummy out. Everyone is calling him out, not got a leg to stand on.
Check this posts, he threatened to go on ODX yesterday to deramp there because he felt it would hurt me as im invested there. Bringing my mum into it today as an insult in another thread. The guy is a douche. We all know it.
Just because he posts 30 times a day on GDR with his subtle fake ramps doesnt mean he is to be respected. Its a public bb. I have an opinion which is largely in line with other posters here. Simple.
So we lasted three whole posts before I feel I have to leave board again.
thanks folks
bullies gaslighters and idiots
cant we just have a discussion with out morons pulling each other to pieces.
This board is the first thing some investors will see.
if your invested here genuinely think what on earth you would think if you came on and read this ****.
name calling and personal attacks make this place pointless
i'm off again don't need this garbage.
Safy - ST
Come on guys - you're both invested here. This is now getting a bit Childish and not positive to the shares you hold.
Some really good contributes, including some with industry knowledge are no longer here because this BB is becoming a joke.
It's a very clear case of starting with the desired conclusion and then interpreting/cherry picking the existing information in order to justify it.
ST aka Mr Rampy Rampy
It must be painful for you reading genuine posts and not your BS ramps.
Let me just point out ANOTHER BS RAMP FROM YOU MR TURD
You wrote that at 11:17 today
"It obvious that the test kit was purposely designed for countries with a warmer climate and our CEO has announced Target Marget is India and Africa."
The May 22 RNS from GDR says this
Following CE-IVD marking, the Company can commence commercial sales in the UK and across the EU immediately. The Company will now begin distribution to potential customers for initial clinical evaluations, and aims to record first commercial sales in June.
How was our test kit designed for warmer countries if our FIRST target market was the UK and EU? FFS Knob Jockey give it a rest, weve all seen through your mindless child like rose petal covered turd ramps. Stop, your credibility is dwindling by the post you delusional twit.
Mavern,
Great post, its certainly one possibility. If a brilliant test is in the market, its new, the company obviously wants sales, then for any prospective buyer its a good opportunity to do a great deal. They will want assurances of supply etc, if a testing station changes their supply chain and testing methods, they dont want to do this for 2 weeks and then switch again.
Though the lack of updates for me is inexcusable, DB has time to post about Canada day and all that stuff, but not update shareholders.
@mavern @technick @grim haha me too. I think GDR have their targets in mind and they are holding everything in reserve for fulfilling these orders. If they can obtain the big orders on the basis of demonstrating their capabilities of supplying in large quantities then getting lost in lots of smaller contracts just distracts and detracts from supplying the bigger players - which might otherwise cause them time/expense/complexites in scaling up when at this time they just want to land the big first contracts.
Like others I'm glad to see we're now on the WHO list, had been refreshing that every day for about 6 weeks! And DB has submitted the required data to DHSC now so we'll see what comes of that https://testingmethods.crowdicity.com/post/3237330
These are all theoretical. No one knows anything since we haven't had an update for months. Just putting 2+2 together and hoping for the best. where does the share price drop finish?, its been like this for weeks. We need some comms.
I have been thinking along this line for a few days. It is one possible explanation.
@Mavern, that is an interesting and alternative thought process.
The fact that “no sales”have apparently been achieved suggests to me that the entire manufacturing capacity has been earmarked for just a handful of major overseas contracts, and the bureaucracy of finalising the deals is taking a little longer than anticipated. If this was not the case there would surely be a number of smaller contracts announced by now as the product is simply too good for zero sales to be achieved. Would be interesting to know if it’s full steam ahead on manufacturing?
