the good old sunday mail midas,uh.
Lots of previous in this share, maybe worth a punt but results early Feb will give some idea if the same old same old tricks are in play again.
normally that midas tip does give a short term rise, but I would imagine the china slowdown worries will be the problem here, like the two year chart suggests. a cracking growth story tho, like that article suggest,so where's the bottom, for an entry.!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.tradingeconomics.com/china/stock-market
I generally take everything said in the daily mail with more salt than is good for my cardiovascular health, but I agree that GDG is an interesting company with good prospects. If it starts running a surplus I think expectations will be that there will be some small/symbolic dividend payment, or suggestions of a future one. This would alleviate concerns that the founder and majority owner will simply collect profits through his pay cheque (which is currently more than adequate for a company this size) rather than evenly distribute through dividends/purchase of shares.
recommended in the mail.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/investing/article-3413681/MIDAS-SHARE-TIPS-China-s-demand-gas-help-Green-Dragon-roar-life.html £320 mill mcap, hmmmm, this is no minnow comp either.
If you think gdl will soar wait till gel gets some news 120 wells out of 1500 imagine the sp when an engineering arm of greka are servicing and managing 10x times the drills anyone down in the dumps over greka gdg , gel gdl don't be simply because it will bounce back in a huge way
Well the S.P. has stagnated even more ! & yet ,there can surely be only " good news " from now on ,with more wells coming onto production , & more infrastructure being constructed to cope with the extra demand etc. The tension waiting for news from these companies is unbelievable & G.D.L , is ten times worse than that !
Finally seems to be results from all the emails !!! Thats all we are asking Randeep . A morsel of NEWS about something. The confldence that RED dot lnsplres. Happy new year everyone & a move up hopefully for that stagnatlng share price. And its even made the Sun come out!!! What ever next !!!!!!!!! .
l think we need some luck just to get some NEWS !!! from these Greka Co. especially with the S.P. so low, its disgusting. Four & half months slnce G.D.G. update, &, Three & half months for G.D.L No regard or respect to investors at all , in these troubled times.!!! So many unanswered questions ???. Future drill funding & 30 well progress would do for a start , to help boost some confidence maybe !!!. & so we wait & wait RED dot please !!!!!!.
I think we long termers deserve it after years of empty promises !
with all the potential of G.D.G. & indeed Greka Driiing their share price does not make much sense. 2016 is going to be a whole different ball game im sure.!!!
http://tinyurl.com/pptszzq Randeep Grewal, chief executive of Green Dragon Gas (LON:GDG) says China’s decision to devalue its currency has had little effect on the company. “We’re a domestic producer, we get paid domestically and we consume domestically, so we are very well sheltered.” Meanwhile, Grewal says Green Dragon is benefiting from China’s regional gas market, which is currently experiencing strong pricing and demand while the firm's drilling programme is on track.
The appointment of the new COO who has a history of not being able to keep a job for more than 2 years is also worrying
Until some serious profits are being spat out, it will remain a "boring" share with low volume. Does not make it a bad one per se, if you have the patience. Gas should be relatively safe, even in the current situation.
Hey healy, Agreed. Bought in to GDG as this is defo rampdeeps baby. He cant seem to get the other ones going. Looks like bad management to me, spreading himself too thin imo..good luck, agree that results here will be better and the announcement if the rogue wells will add quite a bit. What do you think the chinese market situation will do here? If anything?
Good thanks! Hope all is good with you, this probs looks like the best one out of the group at the moment as expect good results for 2015. Cheers...GLA and DYOR......
Hope you are well healey.
Buy looks like someone is in the know or just very confident...
Funding news lol

All well thanks HM. Just watching the general slide but holding firm here. It could be a long wait though!
I think you are missing the point with gel. It has been 'undervalued' for 2 years and remains 'undervalued' and will continue to remain 'undervalued'. It's a stock that has so much potential but will deliver nothing likes its potential. Whatever you may think, I know these companies. Hope you made money on gel though and haven't been locked in. It ain't going up in a hurry that's for sure! Doesn't matter what you or Quindell think of the value. You'll see who is right. GDG however, different prospect as ftse 250 company and potential bonanza with rogue wells.
hungrmonster, I know the past of GEL may be rough like most aim stocks but I am more focused on the future, at least we both agree GDG has promising times ahead. I have only risked what I am prepared to walk away from with GEL, that is what I do with most aim stocks and in my opinion it is not overvalued. atvb
No I don't think we have. GEL is a dead duck and GDG is a likely winner. I know gese companies inside out and I was always buying in at £3. Broker target is some ridiculous £30+. Unlikely in my opinion, but the rogue wells when they come on line will see a massive boost to profits. Not til 2016 mind you.
Well hello hungrmonster, How are you, have we actually got something in common now? ;)
