Two American companies, Frontera Resources and Longfellow, have submitted hydrocarbon extraction projects in Ukraine, Ukr.Media reports.
The relevant applications were considered by an interdepartmental commission chaired by the Minister of Energy, the ministry's press service reported.
The Americans intend to start mining, including from non-traditional sources, within the subsoil areas proposed by the mentioned companies, respectively, in the Odesa and Poltava regions.
"The commission instructed to hold consultations on optimizing the size of the subsoil area proposed by the Frontera Resources company," the message said.
In addition, Frontera Resources intends to start subsurface exploration of the western part of the Black Sea shelf. It is recommended to submit a joint appeal to the Interdepartmental Commission together with Chornomornaftogaz JSC, which has special permits for the use of subsoil in Odeska and Bezimenne squares

@Looed and the other person who had previous contacts with FRR. I think it's only right the company updates us with what's going on. They cmust have an idea whether we're still part of the company or no,t and when we can expect update from liquidation.
Surley they understand the frustration we're feeling.
Hi Chris
Don’t think thats new news.
If you click the link at the bottom of article UKR .media it takes you to the same article dated 2017 .
Damn, think you’re right ziggy. Apologies for getting hopes up!
The company is dead so this could not possible be true.
The companies interested in ukraine would be russian building companies 😂😂
Tabs…….roses are red
The Ukraine flag is yellow and blue
The war is very sad
Just like your Ukraine joke is to
I never bought into our company for this
But if our Santa gifts presents… then it’s simply bliss
It is sad but unfortunately a fact . No companies will be looking to search for oil there
For anybody in need of a sanity test I suggest "I have a dream".
I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything.
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future, even if you fail.
I believe in angels, etc.
If you remember the wording of this song
You have passed the test and will enjoy reading
KLEPTOPIA by Tom Burgis.
