Everything he said, I used to swallow hook line and sinker, but then I scaled back towards the fin ish, as it dawned on me he was a wind up merchant who was just reeling out lines to catch us off guard. Gutted.
oh no :-)
'tsbs' was a standup guy, tsbs1 is a whole different kettle of fish...
lol
i have no friends on this board anymore ??
Oh yes, I wonder where that pompous twixt disappeared to.
I always thought he was perhaps the best wind up this bb has had. He could really get up your nose.
Haha
Ooooh, a fish and chip reference to Tabs, cringe.
Don't you know he's sensitive eggnog?
LMOA
Yeah and it looked like nordstream 2 would be completed without challenge as well.... there's still chips on the table tsbs1
i dont want to sound rude madp and dont take it the wrong way but your opinion seem to be at odds with the information we are now receiving
I dont believe theres any deal or jv and the events in georgia seem to have completely derailed any thoughts of near term deals
There have been 42 articles by foreign diplomats, politicians and prominent people criticising the GD over the last two days that I have copied to the other BB. I'm sure there are many more that I've missed on other sites, but it shows the strength of condemnation. IMHO FRR needs this situation resolved before anyone will be willing to fund the FDP or undertake a JV.
IMHO the sanctions against Nord2 are linked with the transport of gas through Georgia from Azerbaijan, and the future gas from Block 12. The GD's arrest of an opposition leader has the hallmarks of BI all over it, and a lurch back towards Putin. The GD today has been accused of mistakes in applying for the COVID-19 vaccine in order to keep a 9pm curfew in place for political reasons. IMHO this is all linked with delaying FRR's FDP, which will be in direct competition with Russia's supply of hydrocarbons.

Merkel is still pushing for it though. Mutti's mate Putin is still hoping in will be completed - he needs the money and power that comes with it. Let's hope it fails.
New doubts over Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to Europe
The £9 billion Nord Stream 2 pipeline is opposed by other western nations
Oliver Moody, Berlin
Wednesday February 24 2021, 12.01am, The Times
The future of a Russian gas pipeline running into the heart of Europe is in question after 18 companies pulled out of the project in the face of American sanctions.
The £9 billion Nord Stream 2, which would double the amount of gas taken from Russia to Germany beneath the Baltic Sea, is opposed by a broad alliance of western nations including the US, Britain, France and Poland.
President Biden has so far refrained from punishing the German companies involved but the US State Department revealed yesterday that those supplying much of the financial and technical support had been frightened off.
