Ta - I did say I thought the action would kick off in US the other day. Whatever the politics and intrigue at the end of the day legal due process will play out unless they come to a mediated agreement (again). I'm checking Georgia links again now. I have a pacer account if you need any docs pulling down.
Mole - Sorry for the delay. The 'other' case is indeed the fiduciary one, and the texas attorney is indeed the (I think joint leading) counsel in California as well. This (Texas) case was, if I recall correctly, paused because it was considered by the attorneys of both sides to be tied to the fiduciary case. How is it funded? your guess is as good as mine! (Probably better!).
The expedite entry? Oh god, in the excitement I forgot about that!
I've just checked, and it's worth reporting. I'll do a separate entry on doc 41. Thanks for the reminder, Mole.
Ears - what other "pending claims are they involved in" - are they also the counsel for the fiduciary case? They make the point they represent Frontera and their representation is through Frontera - so yes Zaza no longer associated is an interesting turn of phrase. Is this another litigation funded by the insurance policy? Following on from Levan mystery departure in 2019 - we don't have much of the top team left.
But they seem to still have the Texas action in play - did you check the follow on expedite entry? I can check later if need be. But we have now lost the CEO (who in my opinion was really over playing whatever hand he had) - hence the Georgian side goes silent. I'll check the Georgian company register again later as that is the other place we may see some information emerge and double check company articles now we are down to just a chairman and an other director.
Epic tale of intrigue this - a small wager to play in the game would make it interesting. Unfortunately is way more interesting than I would like with a large stake.
Well, well, perhaps there is some light at the end of the tunnel for frr.
Will it involve us?
That's really made me chortle Roger.:))
IMHO, this is a ploy by Zaza in order that he has time to visit the hospital for surgery . He has been waiting years for an opportunity to have RR’s tongue surgically removed from up his jacksie.
WhamBoy
Let's hope so
WHamBoy- Just as I suggested on the 4th September, after JJCarter's post (see copy of my post below).
I did mention yesterday that IF Zaza has been removed the GD could put spin on his recent interviews, due to board removal possibly discrediting him. This could be in return of a licence extension for Block 12, as without it the media publicity could be more detrimental to the GD. Also, this would reduce any future threat of Zaza as a political opponent to BI and the GD.
To me this looks like Zaza has been moved aside so that negotiations can take place. Deal in the making?
Should have said 'court document', not 'docket sheet'.
So J.J.Carter really is in the know....
This is quite a turn-up.
It seems that Zaza has undoubtedly departed.
Sorry about the layout of this - it's a straight copy from the docket sheet. Can't control the format.

No change showing in the California docket.
