Monday s flights now less than four available seats££££
I would say that demand does justify extra sectors to be added. These flights are selling quickly at $300-$400 per sector. I imagine that by end of the working day on Monday most sectors over next couple of weeks will have fully sold out unless the situation with Air Zimbabwe and SAA is resolved. I gather from those at recent AGM that some of the board occasionally look at this chat forum. Here is another request for Nico to reintroduce monthly passenger statistics.
The fact Mon-Fri we operate a maximum of 6 rotations per day using our Zimbabwe fleet, there is currently scope for increasing the number of rotations those days on the HRE-JNB-HRE sectors from 4 to 6 if demand justified it.
Very Helpful towards our 4th Quarter Break Even, Shame we cannot benefit in Tanzania whilst we have the bigger Airbus from something similar. Just as well however that we have 4 flights a day for more new customers to Experience Fastjet.
yes, the loads are well up on the JNB-HRE-JNB sectors. What they have done on the JNB-VFA-JNB sectors, is bumped the fares up significantly, but no great evidence of the loads increasing by much.
Well spotted Hillwi, loads were surprisingly low this am
I notice in the past 2 hours, there has been a large number of seats purchased on the JNB-HRE-JNB sectors, presumably to do with question mark over the Air Zimbabwe SAA flights on that route. Pity we didn't have more or bigger aircraft to pick up this increased demand.

Looks like Air Zimbabwe have been banned from South Africa and that SAA are about to get a reciprocal ban from Zimbabwe. Potentially a very significant development that could boost fastjet's revenue until the following is resolved http://bulawayo24.com/index-id-news-sc-africa-byo-116185.html
J Gilbert sinks fangs into WTM... http://news.wtm.com/wtm-strengthens-travel-credentials-with-new-marketing-appointment/
JT Good to hear that you have aviation experience and have actually used FJET. Welcome aboard.
You have no need to apologise Ronwin, IMO. In Board terms, of course JT16’s a ‘newbie’ having posted just once before the one to which you referred. If you want to “share his history”, you’ll get a good indication from his very first post which showed a virulently anti-fastjet attitude along with a reference to another, unidentified poster as “smug”!
My apologies JT. I assumed that as you had joined in June and posted twice that you were new. Please share your history with us.
Marksman made it abundantly clear to me that this board was for FJET only.... yet was happy to discuss the tempting fruit of another stock when it suited - luckily the error was picked up swiftly before full blown armageddon ensued . No harm done.
Hi Ronwin. I don't think it was anything to do with his being new, nor did he need your advice. JT was simply pointing out that this supposed to be a FJET board. And I agree with him. Welcome, JT!
Hi JT I see you are new. If you really want to find out the name of the company it can be found in previous posts. My strong advice is not to chase rainbows. Read everything you can about the company, RNSs and so forth, and then invest if you want to. It is easy to get carried away so don't invest more than you can afford. Marksman has wisely indicated that future discussion will take place on the appropriate BB for the share.
Hi Farruggia1967: I thought I'd better post this on the appropriate LSE Board, certain I'd find you there! But no. Though I see that another fastjetter is! Just wanted to let you know I added another 150% to my position there, benefiting from an unexpected slight dip this morning.
54p! Wow! That's the sort of tip to have!
Hi Marksman Good to here your on-board,I think there is a huge future with the company and it really is the next big thing, Its the lead we have over others that's pleasing and the demand is out of hand, we're investing in a new facility in Newport south wales to try and keep up with demand. I got in at 54p with a nice tip from someone very much in the know. ATVB
The immediate concern must be the lack of headroom with the cash flow which was mentioned in the accounts , Oct being highlighted by management. Fingers crossed that sales are good and costs are finally under control
My post at 10:41am yesterday should've begun "Even-longer-term investors (probably?) here CANNOT offer more than a purely speculative prediction about the company’s short-term future.....
Yes of course and one hopes they'll swiftly discontinue routes that prove unprofitable. As for 'disastrous' it's a thing of the distant past :--)
