I think you will be profit soon. Buys outnumbering sells consistently for days now and volumes increasing. Anyone else think they might be about to buy Park Cakes from Vision capital ?
I see somebody payed 20p,It's encouraging to see the share price slowly creeping up , patience is the key here IMO.
Hope for better times, I was in as 27 while looking for good dividends like many punters on this share. I too feel that recovery will come and with it the dividend may be reinstated but I am concerned that the directors may cure the company but kill the SP by keeping the dividend low and retaining cash to build better reserves. Tis would ruin a good pension punt. Any thoughts?
Well spotted ali, I was disappointed in their results to be honest I hold in the low 20's but on reflection they weren't so bad and if and when they get the mix with cake sales right they should move up. Reinstating the divi would be a bonus. Premium cake sales might be hard to crack with a couple of tough years ahead.
The independant has a buy tip on FIF in todays paper. Fif appear to be handling the economic downturn well , very incouraging.
Some good news from results QUOTE: Bread and Free From Division sales continued to grow strongly throughout the year with growth of 9.3%, after adjusting for acquisitions and the additional week of trading in the prior year. Underpinning this growth was the successful national roll out of the Genius Free From fresh bread brand. The prior year's acquisition of Goswells speciality breads, including the Vogel brand, drove growth to 16.5% including the acquisition. We have continued to make good progress in improving our internal efficiencies whilst investing further in areas of growth and our management teams. This has allowed us to manage through this recessionary period of declining sales and volatile input prices whilst meeting market expectations and operating fully within existing banking facilities. Negotiations have also been satisfactorily concluded with deferred consideration parties to reschedule some £5m due in the first quarter of our new financial year over the period to March 2012. This relaxes our cash requirements and improves our ability to invest in the businesses growth opportunities.
should be a trading update before the end of the month , expect to see an improving picture for FIF and there shareholders.
Good increase in SP. Who suddenly has faith, mind you the trades look different to the vol sold and bought in the days stats. Any observations? Any one out there? The yeild on this share is great lets hope it comes in.

Not much is going to happen here until we have a change at the top. Lightbody would seem more preoccupied with his press image - it's all about the wondeful things he has done - why can't he cut it here. Let's get a professional in to turn this one around.
not the start to the week I was hoping for , but at least its only two sells.
Apologies............. hope u r right................merry xmas............
busy...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep it always gets bust about now. something to do with 25th Dec.
Just been to local supermarket , cake section very busy , hopefully been repeated across the country , if so FIF may have a good christmas and the share price start to rise , fingers crossed.
agree with you. am quietly building a stake. its quite possible the bidder may re appear, which shud have a positive effect on the price. also management deciding to ditch dividend (and rightly) will have chased off the income investors n dropped the price................cant see why sp dropped today - do you know anything? good luck...
The latest updates show a small reduction on prior year sales and hence the SP drop but it is interesting that these comparitive numbers were themselves 11% UP on the year before that so overall I read that as being relatively positive particularly in tough times. It may take some time but I do belive there is some good money to be made here and am picking up shares whilst the price is low.
YES ! I am as frustrated as everybody else with the share price, but looking into yesterdays figures they wern't that bad considering that we are in a recession and certainly dont deserve the price fall . I checked and there were actually more buys than sells , whats that tell you ?
Martin Lightbody needs to go - its been down hill all the way since he arrived. He would project the image of being a super exec - we need someone that can turn this buiness around.
Fusion boy must be diappointed to have rushed to get in at 29p. This share was tipped to do well and for ages we only saw buyers and virtually no sellers. There was an attempt at a take over. Does anyone remember why they favoured FIF? Have you all forgotten? This looks like a bargain at these prices but still noone buys- What am missing? Lets have some comments and analysis from those in the know.
Fusionboy if your quick you might still be able to get in at 29p
Topping up , golden opportunity but be quick, one of the hardest tree shake I've had, be bold go forth and multiply
