Grayling,
Nowhere mentioned its FEVR specific. What was your intention with that?
Many thanks & GL
Reduced or flat profit margins going forward through 2022 due to cost increases are cited by Bloomberg as the reason for the drop. This is affecting the whole sector equally including CS and Diageo though, so not a FEVR-specific problem.
The current climate
the further outlook
the none improving margin
and that the US is starting to be reasonable with valuations will lead us to a more reasonable SP.
btw it's a very good result but the SP still a bit pricey

Nine days ago Duetche up'ed its broker rating from 33.00 to 35.60.
Yesterday Citigroup reiterated its price of 23.00.
How can two brokers have such wildly varying valuations. Unless of course Citigroup are instrumental in todays price.

Down some 20% since last Wednesday most of that on the day before and after (today) the results RNS? Makes you wonder who knows what and when. More importantly what is behind this magnitude of drop in such a short space of time other than the fact that this is an AIM share and thus prone to extreme volatility?
Totally agree.
Pity the market doesn't seem to have the same opinion.
I just don't understand the stock market.

IMO great results especially in the USA.
Keep up the good work.

Now bigger than Schweppes in USA. Good news https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-10408409/Fever-Tree-overtakes-Schweppes-Americas-leading-tonic-water-brand.html
Seems that Tesco have put up the prices of Fevertree Light Ginger Beer (500ml) so have taken the opportunity to order 64 bottles from The Drink Shop at much lower price.
Good start to the day

Cannot believe my luck today as I have purchased twice at these low prices.I am sure that they will bounce back next week

Maybe the whole drinks industry is on the cusp of big changes? Has any one if us changed our drinking habits recently? Not a holder at present, but fancy fevr to do well out of any shakeup. Watching and waiting mode for me.

I top sliced these recently but expect them to do well over the next period.

What is behind the drop I think the Constellation Brand and Coca-Cola partnership to target premixed ****tail market in the US.

Dread to think how many stop losses have been triggered this morning!

Not sure you can even buy Fevertree tonic in Spoons? Firmly in discount Britvic territory or worse more like!

I can see why after this update :
Copied below is an extract from Wetherspoons’ trading update today; bodes well for FEV.
“In the last 15 weeks, there has been a considerable increase in sales of the range of drinks often consumed by younger customers, for example ****tails (+45%), vodka (+17%) and rum (+26%).
In contrast, draught products, more often consumed by older customers, have been under pressure, with traditional ales down by 30% and stout down by 20%, for example.”
Looking good for progress, mostly positive notes coming from Fev, II's and directors.
Sort out logistics and the US and return to normal levels in the UK and going to provide a bumper period for Fev.
I noticed new flavours this month in readiness for Christmas, suspect its well on top of keeping ahead of the pack and refreshing itself.
DYOR for me, FEV is set to power ahead,
I'd really like to see if Fev would consider a US float to really get these going.
Update today - I did wonder what casued the spike in SP
Logistics the only thing holding back Fev to move higher , challenging times for the management side of the business to break the logistic problem down in a cost effective way that enables the business to flourish, they seem to have plenty of backers , i'm personally holding for north of 3300.

USE PRIVATE OWNERS OF TRANSIT VANS TO DELIVER STOCK LITTLE AND OFTEN , IF THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF LORRY DRIVERS .
Empty shelves last night in Sainsbury’s - they’ve had to start buying Suntory tonics to fill the space! Go FEVR!
Tim Warrillow expecting further margin deterioration in the second helf - "we continue to manage these challenges and anticipate gross margins of c.43%, delivering an EBITDA margin of c.20% for 2021"
