I've not been here long enough to talk about normality of volume, but I have noticed its low and also others have suggested this is normal at times so nothing to be worried about.
Yes you maybe right, we may hopefully get a positive announcement later, we will just have to wait and see.
No trades since 8:27am plus its Friday the 5th I think there is more to it.
never not been able to get a live quote for this long on fccn
Guys, the volume is very low that’s all.
I’m sure if you put in a market order it will go through just fine.
No rns at all so maybe the take over is going through?
No Suspension RNS that I can see. Might be a trades reporting issue or low volume as FSP may have subdued day traders:

There's no suspension statement is there?
Definitely been suspended can’t buy or sell even small amounts and nothing going on in level 2
Has trading been suspended? Haven't been able to get a live share price since 8.27am.
So the 5th is here so lets hope there's some news today re Mr Marks and will he sell this time around ?
Amirkat, I feel your pain. I'm getting tired of EUA, the lack of any really useful news flow and the days passing feel more like a prison sentence than investing these days :(
I was a boy in short trousers when the eua Fsp began. Time warp makes it feel like I’ll reach grey bearded old age by the time that’s done, so here’s to a swift conclusion to this situation for all concerned. Fast fashion hopefully equates to a fast sale.
Agree that more interest is a good thing which is possibly why the SP is blue but an FSP can take a long time. Not sure what the constraints of an FSP brings to companies wanting to make an offer but I wonder if there is likely to be some speeded up crazy offer that might some in and send this way north.
Agreed, more interest.
Some people sold in panic yesterday.. guess the tree is being shaken as they say...
Great to see so much interest, that’s five possible suitors, spotlight will be out because of this as they were probably hoping to buy it on the cheap.
While there maybe some short term pain I feel it bodes well for a much higher takeout price.
I am convinced one of the parties could be Will Aderley from Dunelm , bit of a coincidence that he has just raised £200million !
investor3 - thank you for your response.
Agreed, they were in a formal sales process for about 2 years prior to Covid which led to nothing and they're in a far worse position now than they were then. I presumed the share price would drop off a cliff this afternoon on the news but it held up, presume people waiting for Friday to see if HMJ stay in.
If you need the money good move, personally I'm happy to wait, the new stuff on ASOS has put a lot of faith in FC again for me with the return of the FCUK logo and if anyone can make something cool again its ASOS.
Plus shops opening again soon etc etc
Sold off last week fed up with waiting for something to happen.
"Since the announcement of 5 February 2021, the Company has been approached by and engaged in preliminary conversations with a further three interested parties, in addition to Go Global, concerning proposals which may or may not result in an offer for the Company."
Yes one dropped out, but now has further 3 interested parties...
Hmm. So rather than a takeover offer they've gone for FSP and one of the takeover suitors has dropped out. Friday deadline no longer valid. FSP can take ages, EUA have been in an FSP for a year and still no outcome. I expect with a High Street recovery round the corner FCCN are hoping to attract a much higher sales price but it will take some time now and SP might drift downward for a bit because of this change in direction. GLA
not so good now
Yes you have misunderstood, its the total opposite.
Its a good start to the day.. keep it up...
Am I correct in my understanding of todays RNS that there are 611 shorts on this share price? If that's what it means then that would appear to say that there is not a lot of confidence in a bid being made by Friday - or have I misunderstood?
Hopefully not an extension situation in the offing. Last year got trapped in AA in anticipation of a bid above 50p. The fact sp is steady mid twenties is fingers crossed a good sign, although if the s**t hits the fan we’ll be the last to know.
All been very quiet ! Is this the calm before the storm or has it just fizzled out ?
