Not sure if anyone else spotted FC have been victims of a information hack , what made me smile was the article described them as a Fashion Titan which is a stretch for a company with a £19 million valuation.
I wonder if the information they stole had details of any buyout on the horizon!!!!!!
Of wh ireland
Rns 20k bought yesterday
Rns 20k sold today
Or am I missing something
When will we hear of the buy out offers.... 5 different ones still in play I believe?
Agreed.
Joules had an update this morning, and the read through was positive, with sales up as the lockdown eases.
Much larger volume though today. Albeit my take on it is that there’s been some clearing house over a number of shares inc FC, over the last couple of days.
Giving opportunities though to get in lower or average down.
AGM and update due 14th July if I’ve got that correct.
Been quite a while too to find out anything at all regarding the multiple offers that are meant to be going on.
Could really do with something, and.... as a number of my shares..... it’s all about when to hear of news.... mostly expected to be good news but when.....!
Incredibly quiet, and the share price is on the drift.
Would be nice to see an update.
Every clothing retailer is reporting surging sales I wish they would hurry up and bring out a trading report!!!!!
The wife, if I dare call her that any more.... let’s say my daughters mother.... erm, anyway....
She is in the fashion industry, designing, managing, now freelance with some very senior connections, and it’s going pretty mad atm. People are wanting a release, freshen up their goods.
So clothing retail = happy days.
And that’s just clothing, let alone other aspects of retail, homeware, etc
Gl all as ever. Sub 20 = bargain (even though it’s cheesy to call it that)
The trading update when it comes should be very strong, our clothing sales at the moment are the best in 20 years especially on Ladies clothing. I have been checking availability on FC website both in the UK and the USA , they have sold out on multiple lines, this is all at full price.
Increased sales at full margin with a much lower cost base could have the potential to increase profits considerably, just might be in our interest to hang on to the business instead of selling it . Sales of 100 million could value the business at a lot more than 20 million!!!!!!
Yes its a common issue with FCCN it seems.
Agreed, everything is positive but it does seems like we keep getting pushed around and taken the p... out of.
Current share price is not reflecting our value.
Typical, topped up again earlier and showing as sell. So from 10.29 they’re all buys inc mine within that.
Come on June.... give us some worthy juice
Agreed.
The lockdown is unwinding nicely, and people want to treat themselves and have cash to spend.
I've topped up recently at the current levels and am happy to do so.

Looking forward to a blowout trading update for the first 6 months .I have noticed their clothes are on sale on multiple websites, next , ASOS to name two plus their own site and stores.
With a valuation of £20 million it should help boost the share price!
Sosander is valued at £45 million with a turnover of £12 million!!
What does that make French Connection worth ?
Now we know why Mike sold his shares in FC , he needed the money to buy HB !!!!!!!
What amazes me is at 2.5 billion for Hugo Boss , £50 million for French Connection seems small change .
I think your 'Win, Win' analogy is spot on.
Also, Retail sales figs out today - up 9.2 percent.
I've substantially increased my holding today, and will continue to do so.
Fully aware of high street fashion houses amongst retail. Wife (soon not to be) is in this world and has her fingers in quite a few pies and with numerous top dogs.
My “subject” posted was mainly guided at the buyout prospects.
But either way, FC could be in for a fair win win.
I could tell of a few stories I’ve heard over the years

The recovery in Retail is well under way now as the Lockdown unwinds.
This has been evident in many of the recent trading updates across the sector.
Opportunist bids for companies that have been hit by the pandemic, will become more expensive to complete. Shareholders will no longer be in a hurry to offload stakes, as the outlook becomes brighter.
However, in the case of FCCN there is a strong the opportunity to either tie up, or be absorbed by Digital Brand Specialists.
Either prospect could be transformational for the Brand.
Not sure we should be looking to sell , their new ranges are selling extremely well with rave reviews.
Hi all if anyone is still here!
If I’m correct I believe we still have at least 5 potential third parties (that were) in early stages of putting in an offer. Does this still stand correct? If so, this was pretty much back in Feb when we heard of these said 5 early bids. That’s now 3 months ago and we’ve not heard of anyone dropping out as yet. Perhaps this is why it’s taking a while compared to the likes of other high street buyouts?
So, from the above, could one reasonably “assume” that we may hear of something in the not too distant future?
In addition, I interpret from the last update in April, that sales have picked up and we should get better results in the next trading update.

Could be in for a long wait , one interesting point is that the share price appears to hold firmly around 20/21p even with continuing small sells .
Marks will no doubt wait to see how fast and how well things start to recover as it will impact the potential take out price . Very positive to see no one’s dropped out of the race yet .
We need some news re the sale to really get things moving !!
While Superdry and Ted Baker gain new highs FC continues to crawl lower one can get quite frustrated with the share price!!!!!
Agreed.
Headline figures as expected, outlook stronger as retail picks up.
Still of interest to Private equity, ongoing talks.
Decent recovery play from here.
Yes considering its Covid19 results are reasonable.
Also takeover talks are still progressing..
Given the mkt cap of £22m. Headlines disappointing but most of this impact was anticipated and priced in. Good progress on leases and improved online performance means FCCN should continue to recover IMO.
