Look at the recent-ish BoD buys, this will sell for more than their recent buys otherwise BoD will lose out massively. Looks like a no-brainer to me. The weekend press will be all over this and there should be huge buying interest next week. GLA.
Previous offer of 41p was rejected, bidding war could see this in excess of 50p, another party could wade in from next week onward, a bidder has to make an offer by 5 March and I'd expect as least 2 bidders will make an offer by 5 March, this should hit circa 35p by Weds or later next week IMHO. But I'm just using my own logic on this, what do I know :)
What your thoughts on price over next few weeks
Exciting stock, nice bit of fun for the next few weeks :)
DMcG54 ,looking like might see another move up again .
Well done all how held through the end of last year, this share was looking like a very a risk proposition. Incredible acquisition power being floated around in retail at the moment. Ted Baker could be next in the headlights light...
SH3: "DMcG54,difficult to know how might move with this buying volume", yep that's true but I think it still has some gas in the tank yet ;)

(Alliance News) - French Connection Group PLC on Friday confirmed it has received two separate takeover approaches.
The London-headquartered fashion designer, responding to recent share price movement, said the approaches have been from Spotlight Brands LLC in conjunction with Gordon Brothers International LLC and Go Global Retail in conjunction with HMJ International Services Ltd.
Shares in French Connection were up 74% at 27.20 pence in London on Friday. The stock has more than doubled from 10.18p since the start of 2021.
Los Angeles, California-based Spotlight Brands is a boutique consulting agency specialising in national wholesale sales and marketing for small, premium wineries.
New York, US-based Go Global Retail is a brand investment platform for investors from the textile, apparel and footwear industries.
French Connection said talks with both companies remain at a very early stage, and there can be no certainty that an offer will be made, nor any offer terms.
According to UK takeover rules, Spotlight Brands and Go Global Retail are required to either announce a firm intention to make an offer or walk away by March 5.

...........BOOHOO for 75p PER ? ? ? ......
Can see this closing 90% at end of day
MMs will assist the pushing of SP down as profit-takes sell, then it should get a second win as speculators turn up and possibly some big investors looking for easy money. I expect FCCN will sell this time and with good times ahead with vaccines and scheduled dates for easing Lockdown retail businesses are going to be red hot with business.
price frozen again, cant buy cant sell. - the big boys are now taken over this share due to the potential acquisition
Poss much more if a bid war
with 2 parties looking to buy this company then pre-covid levels seems reasonable, so 37ish is target
can see this moving up to 37ish levels if 2 parties are looking to buy then pre-covid level seems like reasonable target
looks like hard sell now bouncing back up either one turning up to buy the shares pre-acquisition
Shock probably :)
why has the price frozen - no buys no sells?
