Same format as Easyhotel so we must be doing something right!

103 rooms, old building, cheaper to buy, great location

They won’t mention profit but the Rev par increase implies these will go up unless overheads centrally in staff etc have spent it. Good update, good progress and divi % wise is linked to profit. Biggest challenge at the same time is that it’s still very low
No mention of profits but a good optimistic and reassuring statement of where we are and what we have achieved. Surprising that there wasn't an uptake in the SP but then yesterday was a bad day in the markets generally
Really good progress and a great positive position going forward for the company, the business model is working and expanding European wide as they have identified great cities elsewhere. They’ll want another raising but at a higher sp, good share to hold long term for me
Expecting good news and revenue increases reflected
unvrkw;
I agree with you that any dividends may be a good while coming, but we are building up our capital base by re-investing any profits. We also franchise so after the costs of each individual hotel are recouped (if built by EZH), earnings go straight to the P&L account. Not sure that there will be further equity raise(s) but I do treat the current SP as a good opportunity to add to holding.
Not a share for short termers; let's hope it stays that way
slow churn, take several years and they will equity raise again i would think next year hopefully around the 1.2 to 1.5 mark?
least the cash goes into assets and hotels not working capital so overall its good news. this model makes money and like the airlines there will always be people wanting and happy to stay in this type of hotel as they have recongnised, price, location make a huge impact on where you stay. this is a long long hold for me, it will be £5 in 10 years.
I thought the RNS was good and had expected the SP to react accordingly, but it hasn't.
In fact there has been little trading and the bid price is down to 98p, although there is a 7%+ spread. The chairman recently bought at 114p
The RNS states that the 5 newly opened hotels have traded strongly from day one and I reckon that Blackpool is crying out for a cheap established hotel, even if only for stag and hen parties
i think its mixed as always due to expectations when people visit hotels, have paid very little but still expect so much.
i think its a rush to the bottom and therefore premier inn will need to look at ways to map closer to easyhotel as they challange on price, load there hotels and peoples habits changed. i.e. some people now want to only take a room, pay the least and get out and about. whereas with preimer alot of costs are priced in as they are in place and there is no choice. easyhotel costs are relevant to occupancy as they should be, very lean and specific.
loosing some value at the minute, confidence of divi increase in the near term lost?
Has anyone here been to one of these hotels ? The reviews on Trustpilot and Tripadvisor are a very mixed bag. “£5 for a TV remote”, “worse than a prison cell”, were a couple of the less complimentary ones. Whereas, Hub by Premier Inn, are consistently 4 1/2 stars and above. Now that Whitbread have sold Costa to focus on hotels, they maybe the company to stick to in this sector in the longer term.
Update? Would think very probable and possible as costs stay closer in line and hotels open at a good pace
Good news, even sneak some revenue into half year numbers
I think we will see excellent results and progress. The new hotels are coming on line faster and quicker than before. On schedule and any worry of overall downturn plays into easyhotel hands.
Cost control outstanding and reflective on occupancy. There said the year into next results will start to come.

especially with their hard earned money. good stuff.

They’ll try and equity raise around £1.5 ish? The fact the rooms are designed around the buildings, on costs kept to a minimum and flexible rates based on availability.
Premiers first challenge in this market is creating best rates but paying for all the structure behind as it wasn’t all designed at budget costs. So they end up cutting back, hotels look tired and people’s expectations change.
Shows great promise in budget hotel market overall. I think easyhotel has a better model and will do very well just needs revenue then cash to build more
We have been having relatively good news over the summer but no responding upward movement in the SP.
Good opportunity to invest or top up IMO
Two great locations and hotels for the company opening and driving progress
Still very much possible?

Strong reported momentum, loads of free advertising based on not meeting the rules but still open. They where never going to change the room sizes or that blows the whole concept of the brand.
So certified as a guest house which doesn't really matter, great opportunity.
Another 50 million pounds for 45 million shares, close to 200 million which is still reasonable and 7 or 8 more hotels, in the same period expect as many franchise and after that we are starting to look pretty big
Another example of standard format, guarantees more so opening dates as the project to renovate has been done many times already.
New director so expanding, I expect another £50 million ish raising this year, around 200 milionshares, divi maintained. We are not really being diluted as we own more hotels plus franchise always chipping into the numbers ongoing
