It’s already making a decent return on its capital investment. If there’s a no deal Brexit or bad deal Brexit, sterling will surely fall and remain devalued for a long time and will bring in foreign travellers looking for good value accommodation
A definite buy at current great value imho
Uncertainty?? Needs to keep going , compete against the others, very low cost base and grow overtime. This is years in the making and last point was brexit bring good buying opportunities
Give it five years it will command a space in the sector like easyJet
I liked this bit :- "These current uncertainties are presenting us with opportunities, which might not otherwise be possible, to acquire sites on good terms in central locations in our core target cities, such as Dublin, Bristol and Paris Charles de Gaulle. I'm happy to sit on this one, I'm confident of greater things to come.
Switched somewhat from short or more medium growth to be expected as it gets harder. Penetration of markets, grow in size, make the brand big enough not to fail bar catastrophe and then it can settle somewhat like the airline. Countries with undeveloped hotel formats plus less interest from the national chains are being targeted, the business model works in good and bad times just depends like everything where you want margins to be.
Premier and travel lodge may now show signs of struggle as capacity reaches some areas, brexit and economic slowdown, at this point you need to be able to run at bear bones which Easyhotel can
Everything going the right way bar giving up some current margin, Revpar getting better. Be interesting how other hotel groups manage during harder periods which is why I bought Easyhotel, for the good and bad times.
Interesting how we develop France and Spain who have a very fragmented hotel sector, very traditional so many opportunities

Long term great investment
Next week , good stuff, extra revenue
Seem stretched at the minute and results coming out are showing people holding back in uk, using internet and brexit effect. I always hoped through harder times Easyhotel would operate well, batten down the hatches and attract customers at lower prices and good locations irrespective. This is when the higher overhead companies will struggle
Around 8% organised hotel, brands in the market. This means it very much more traditional, one offs , similar to B& Bs in uk once was. The market will develop, travellers, Germans will want safe, more cost conscious options and easy hotel will fill the gap.
Potential is huge, up to 25,000 rooms franchised and owned easily. Say £6k annual gain per year. It’s going to take five years but this brand has the capability like the airline of being one of the most successful and biggest
We have years to go on this yet. Like easyJet it churned away and eventually became something very big and successful. I think this company will do the same knowing it will never get sold off or consolidated in other brands. How long before easyJet tie in and offer these hotels, not sure if it’s already the case but it will come. Their customer data and links is huge, visit Barcelona via easyJet and stay in the Easyhotel hotel? Great long term business
That’s 45 hotels minimum based on mainly franchise until we generate enough cash to build more of our own. Most owned are in uk but now branching out. This is a business that could have several hundred hotels within 5 years. This latest rns also reads as though they are financing it all
It feels a connection to airports which is obvious based on the brand. Three airports in Paris, 26 around the world mentioned. Not sure who is paying what but you could see 30 hotels pop up pretty quickly at specific airports relatively easily and in good locations. I think this rns is a game changer for Easyhotel expansion
Booking! Two more in the portfolio. These next four to five years are crucial to get a solid market presence and expand, great brand constantly supported by easyJet being all around
Relatively same divi but the growth is great, in control and everything is going in the right direction. Shift to Spain, Germany, France looks good on the basis those markets are far less developed but the easy brand is well know. Grow where there is less competition.
I might buy a few more.
We know the revenues are good just what this actually turns into. Should be a divi announcement plus growth targets
yes results tomorrow. i think everything will be ok and good results, market is now poor and we are on the down, whether the profit is what people want not sure, i hope its not all got lost
Tomorrow is results day;. Interesting to see what the occupancy rate has been. I am optimistic
Agree, just whether there’s enough to satisfy growth expectations or they want more. They need stellar growth for some time to come
Final results are due out on December 6th
I'm optimistic that they will be good and will be well received
yes interesting times. i think everyone expects another capital raising for more hotels so the price has dropped due to the fear of dilution??
getting back to a worth while price to buy, different situation as they are now doing very well, money is coming through but not enough to finance expansion as yet. they also have others like premier on their heels with a similar concept.
easyhotel does however have a great brand
I don’t understand why the SP remains under a pound. We are way ahead in terms of rooms availability and,,we hope, in cash flow and profits but the SP has dropped since the summer. Our balance sheet should be healthy which should make future borrowing easier.
Another good development, Oxford and Bristol. This is a property play as well as hotels, freehold in Bristol, purpose built hotel to maximise space and therefore rooms. Doubt anyone in the industry will beat it and we are based against price, location and ease. Hence premier hotels are moving towards our model. They’ll be another raising soon, all spent up
The formats working it’s just how fast can we grow!
And looking for hotels in York and Harrogate, plus half a dozen franchise locations !
