He won't thank me for constantly getting his name wrong on here 🙄
But 3M shares would give me 10% of his holding assuming he hasn't sold any
Waiting for Stalicla to add the funding news to their website...
After six years, close to $100M invested and Evgen selected as a candidate for their goal I'm interested to see who investors are bringing on-board to push things on (as mentioned in one of those funding news articles)
https://stalicla.com/about/team
Will Toni bring added value to investors by way of a Nasdaq First North listing ? Maybe...
Will Mr Kite be providing funding if needed ? Maybe
Will the seller be out soon ? ....
Keeping and eye on Firefly Neuroscience and their merger to gain Nasdaq listing to see how that plays out..
Then there's the promising cancer results...
Sod it I'm going for 3M shares 🤫
Yesterday's RNS was written ambiguously and has led some to suggest that Evgen are no longer expecting the Milestone payments this year. However, this is not the case. Wololol from the ADVFN board emailed investor relations and their response is below.
"The language used in yesterday's Reach was consistent with our previous guidance on cash runway which we have always stated does not account for receipt of milestone payments."
Therefore it is clear that the bod have not changed their expectations for future milestone payments, with up to $5.5m still due this year. As Stalicla now have funding in place, news flow should be coming thick and fast over the next few months. I had thought that Evg would have received the 500k from Stalicla, however, it would be nice if these funds have not yet been accounted for in the cash runway predictions from the bod.
Therefore, it can reasonably be concluded that the RNS from Evgen was to highlight the continued commitment from Stalicla and that in this tough climate for fundraising, Stalicla managed to raise, emphasising the strong belief in their pipeline, including STP2 (SFX-01).
Looking forward to the re-rate and release of news that we are due. Hopefully the bod takes heed of the issues that their ambiguity has caused, and in future they check any RNS before it is released.
Sorry about the typos, Thailand internet connection issues
The resident Þrolls would have everyone think Evgen need a placing...
What they ignor is just.R Kight and his 33.1 M holing of circa 12%.
Mr Kight hasn't bought for some time, he also hasn't sold which suggests to me that he is waiting and watching the Stalicla deal very closely.
Imo he is ready to fund Evgen via a private placement if needs be....
As in put in the funding but not sell any shares..
This concept has been known to turn there must be a placing Trolls into stone 😄
Evgen could easily 10X from such a low MCAP...
I'm looking for 50X
That should adgitate the resident Trolls
Its a good job that you cant buy because you would be wasting your money.
Can't buy on HL ?
Usually MM's bite my arm off...Seller out ?
In the Finsmes coverage which DSFlatt shared last night, Staclica's plans for the $17.2 are set out. The last sentence is:
'Alongside these key developments, Stalicla will further strengthen the package supporting its second precision ASD asset, STP2'. If you check Stalicla's site EVG's licensed partnership is referenced as STP2. So looks like something is happening. Bit nebulous at the moment. We were supposed to be starting the phase 2 trial for autism after data analysis on the phase 1b which was completed last August..
I think we need another RNS to clarify. Not sure that the one they have put out is any more helpful than the coverage of Stalicla's fundraise.
Stalicla funding and progress reported by Venturelabs Swiss:

I still think Toni could be looking at the Nasdaq First North listing which could presumably attract investment from that region.
Regards the wording of Evgen having not anticipated any milestone payments to me it says their previous cash flow forecast simply didn't include any payments from Stalicla...
Great that Stalicla now have funds and and new staff to push things forward and their news should help create interest in Evgen.
It’s an interesting share price Davey. Wouldn’t take much to make 50% profit at these levels. I think everyone agrees if EVG get the $5.5m Stalicla payment in the coming months it would keep the company funded until the Spring 2026 and would certainly see the share price rise to the 2.5p - 3p mark. But then it will be probably ages before any more money comes in and back in a similar predicament to now. I wouldn’t want to hold this as a long term investment, looks like it would take years to materialise. There could be opportunities short term.
However today’s RNS doesn’t sound like the payment is imminent and I don’t think anyone knows what to make of the final sentence regarding EVG have not anticipated any milestone payments from Stalicla in its financial forecasting.
Let us know what you do. Good luck with it.
Very strange RNS, is Huw trying to give the impression that now Stalicla have raised all this money, Evgen could be inline for a payout ???
Is this what him and Toni were referring to when they said that they were working on adding to shareholder value, creating false impression that will lead to a speculative frenzy so as to suck in more unsuspecting punters.
The whole communication is poorly written and leaves more questions than answers. One certainty is that it adds more weight to the argument that he is out of his depth and a complete amateur.
The price rose initially on the news but when you have a seller (axa) prepared to dump 2 mil at 1.35p when it was 1.5-1.8p at the time assuming it was them then no wonder the price looked weak. I'm trying to talk myself out of buying at least 1 million tomorrow. I love value and a bargain and a overhang too, it worked well in Agl at 10p levels where I sold most at 31p so I smell a opportunity here

Thought we had seen the last of you PoorInvestor.
As for the RNS, it would help if EVG had explained the significance of this credit facility.
It doesn’t sound too great IMO, from the wording it sounds like any milestone payments are still a while away, as they are engaged in analysis and interpretation of the study and implications of a stage 2 trial. Sounds like months away before the conclusion of this.
Also is anyone else concerned that EVG state that they have not anticipated any milestone payments from Stalicla in its financial forecasting. Doesn’t sound too encouraging. Not looking good here sadly.
Good news imo. Means Stalicla have the money to pay Evgen the milestone payments that will be due. Also shows that Stalicla are keen to move STP1 & 2 forward. Expect IND application in due course.
But is it good, bad, or indifferent?
1 share trade
Kingalf, you’re right, looking at the Director deals there was a previous company called Evolution Group using the code EVG and it is picking up their Director deals. Evgen started trading in October 2015 and the opening share price was 37p, close to what you said. So they are not 99% down, they are 95% down.
I think we’ve seen the last of xxPoorInvestorxx, I don’t think he’ll be bothering us here any longer.
CJ39 - I could be completely wrong but I don't think they were ever at £1.50, I seem to recall them originally being issued at around 35p.
Funny how Proinvester has gone away, might have decided that his ramping wasn't working and has sold out.
Quickly while you can get something for your shares bought with your hard earned money because soon you may not even get the small pittance that you might get today.
It is really disappointing that none of the directors are buying shares, buying shares with their own money shows that they believe in the company as an investment and gives shareholders confidence that it is worth investing in. It’s like they are happy to take their wage out of EVG but don’t want to put their own money in.
What’s interesting when looking at the Director deals, no Director has bought shares in EVG for 8 years. And the share price 14 years ago was £1.50 a share! Share price is 99% down in 14 years. If someone bought £5000 worth of shares in EVG in 2008 they are worth £50 now. Disgraceful. They really do not seem to care about shareholder value. Huw said they did but he clearly doesn’t. They treat shareholders with utter contempt. They don’t keep shareholders in the know about anything. Who knows when then next money from Stalicla is coming.
I do think Huw was wrong to say he was the CEO so he should have the most shares when answering an investor question (I thought he was defensive and the idea of him having the moat shares showed a lack of business understanding and investor alignment by buying some fing shares imo)
Perhaps that's why we are seeing investors sell...
Maybe it's time for Huw to foxtrot Oscar
DS, wow that’s quite a holding. I really do hope things work out for you here and you at least break even or show a profit. I can’t fault you for buying in when you did, I bought in at that time and was absolutely sure I had found a share that would double or treble my outlay at least, they had £10m in the bank at that time, announced the Stalicla deal which would pay $6m by end of 2023 (and the deal was worth a huge amount) and had lots more irons in the fire, I was sure I was on to a winner.
If EVG announce they have received the $5.5m from Stalicla in the months ahead I’m sure that will help get the share price to around the 3p mark.
I'm holding 1,757,583 now with about showing a 51% paper loss.
I've been averaging down...
How do I feel ?
Well I'd feel much better if the sp was higher but it is where it is and obviously I'm positive on the company but less happy with my initial buy ins :-)
