Final result of Poll shows that 81% of respondents would prefer an outright sale.
Quite conclusive, but as Bobby Beal pointed out at what price. I can see that the work that the board is currently carry out is all about proving up commerciallity of the asset in order to strengthen our position. It's no longer good enough to say we have 17mt of Zinc ore, what the market wants to know is from that ore how much Zinc is recoverable as a percentage and what will the smelting process involve.

What if they don't sell or get a JV ? Expect the unexpected!
I'm agnostic: happy with a sale, since cash in the bank to redeploy elsewhere would be handy, but I'm definitely not in the "sale at any price" camp. I'm happy to hold if we have the chance of a JV that genuinely opened up bigger long-term value.
Happy, also, to accept the wisdom of the board that nobody is shorting EUZ. Although the post where I raised that as a possibility that may explain the appearance of our deramper seems to have mysteriously vanished. Interesting...
Have to say I’m not into supplying Facebook with any more data to mine about me (no pun intended. ok, maybe....). One thing the poll HAS done is to kickstart the match-the-name-to-the-screenname game :)))
Happy Tuesday all.

You guys are going to be so excite when we finally get an RNS! I would be against a full sale at this point in time. I don't think that is best way to realise value in the current market as we wouldn't get a good price. For all those who want a sale, would you propose to reinvest the proceeds or completely distribute and shut down the company? Maybe it is your get rich quick idea but I am prepared to be patient and let this one slowly develop. As long as Laurence can demonstrate we making solid progress and releases a few positive news updates over the next year to confirm this (e.g. renewal of permits, community buy-in/approvals), then I'm more inclined for the jointe venture approach.
Count me in as a SALE please. Thank You
I’m minded to say put me down for a total sale, but we’re woefully short of information needed to make that decision.
If sold ...we currently only have disparate estimates of value, but just as importantly we have no steer on what will happen to the proceeds of sale.
JV ...we can only guess what would be demanded for someone to fund the completion of the feasibility study and fund the mine development. It’s common knowledge that we are not currently funded for that, which puts us in a poor bargaining position, however don’t forget that we are the ones that have the keys for Toral.
We employ an exec to operate on our behalf and move Toral forward. It’s not unreasonable however for them to be told to keep us informed...until then we aren’t ready to make important decisions.

Yes will do. There is clearly an overwhelming desire to see an outright sale. Please get on with it Mr Read.

Cjen, I’m not on Facebook, so could you count me as a sale
ATB, Pete
Syntax, I also remember that being discussed and LR confirming that the clause did still exist at that time. Unfortunately there is no way of knowng if that has progressed due to the many NDAs currently in place and I suspect discussions with Lundin may still be on going at some level.
It's just a waiting game now to see what direction the BOD take.
So far 77% of respondents have expressed a preference for an outright sale and 15% would prefer a JV .
Was there a brief mention on here last year regarding a Lundin buy-back clause in the original Toral sale contract ?
Maybe it has expired by now. Or maybe I dreamt it !
Oil tap I've added that option to the poll, but I did have to look it up first. LOL
I would love to here the EUZ shareholders views on what they would prefer to see as the forward thinking strategy for EUZ and its Toral project.
What are your thoughts ?
