Ouz
Pompey, if this turns out as well as it’s supposed to I think you’re going to be somersaulting 10 yards at a time all the way to the bar. (Might get a bit tricky after that but what the heck.)

Great attitude to life, and why this chat board is so much more than simply a finance chat board; superb human beings with a common aim.
And the TOON and Harrogate win. EUA comes in on Monday and Now Wolves 2-1
@ohmni.. cheers matey don’t worry ..life goes on my friend ..there are others worse off than me for whom I have the greatest respect. Had my first hip op at 48 ..completely wrecked ..osteoarthritis..
Football at B’ham city at 15, Golf off 10 moved south..judo black, chair at boys football club..referee (Hampshire badge) and now can’t walk 10 yards …so what…now artist, shareholder research….Local men’s shed (WI for guys..no knitting:-))) ..) never give up my friends..that’s me which is why I’m still here with all you other great LTH’s….my best share ever for both prospects and the great folk on here …..forget the doubters they won’t be at our celebration party will they.
Plus my Wolves are 1-0 up ….not a bad day all round. Hope yours turns out as good.. pompey
Ohmni
Good luck to you, if you do well were all in it with you.
I can see so many similarities to my life, if only Id listened to my Dad when he kept telling me to pack in football (Goalie). 2 broken legs, Fractured Skull, Punctured lung, Broken arm, Every finger broken plus loads of muscular injuries, Christ I ache at 60 !!!
Still playing 5 a side , but taking care of myself now and Dads still telling me to pack in.
Hope you get that house on the back of EUA, if you do it means I've done ok and can move retirement forward to whenever I want it.

Ohmni - thanks for the reply and best wishes n your journey. Lovely to hear stories with a human aspect. Plenty of time left for all of f us here. Quality not quantity!
@stix40 thank you .and all the best to you sir..pompey
Ohmi,
I'd like to think this will be one of those pieces of advice that you look back on and say, "That was the point when everything changed for the better".
Really interested by your history, it was really telling. Mine has had many parallels, including back and neck injuries, broken ribs, broken big toe ,etc, from differing activities, chronic IBS through my twenties, and many other ailments. Carried pain around for decades, am now far fitter, stronger, happier, and without pain, with no surgery whatsoever, I'm now 55. Invest in a book by John Sarno called "The Divided Mind". Really hope you give it a go, it was transformational for my life. I've helped several people in my area that were suffering from chronic pain. Happy to answer any questions.
Ohmni - I wish you all the best with your EUA investment
Mr Wolfe. 34. Moving out is well overdue but in my defense and to my parents eternal frustration my twenties did not go so well. Ending up spending a good chunk of it in psycodynamic group therapy so parents naturally did not turf me out during that. Ended that in August 2016 only to then slip on some rubbish at work in Feb 2017. Rubbish left on a stairwell by my best mate from school days who got me the job no les after I lost the last one with criminal conviction to boot (I'd make a terrible criminal lol), and landed with my spine across 3 steps. Broke a rip, aggrevated or caused a bunch of major disc bulges. Got a payout, invested in SXX. Was given an EUA tipoff and made sure to grab some. Rest is history re EUA.
Took a while to recover from accident and just as I started earning enough money to move out lockdowns hit taking me to about 650 quid a month for pretty much a year. Hence still having a bit of debt.
I've gotten real good with money during this time at least although benefit of hindsight I should have topsliced even 10% given my initial stake of 140 quid. Likely would not have one of those credit cards still looming over me but hey. 1200 quid a month now I'm teamleader on 30 backbreaking hours a week. I'll soon whittle that down. And I'm fortunate enough to have grown a diversified PF so can now move things around as opposed to putting hand in pocket to invest. Still only a couple hundred here and there but this is my hedge against the inevitable early retirement due to ill health.
Honestly. Pompeyrod, god help me when I'm your age lol. I'm a physical wreck now o.0 My ACL is on it's way out, badly damaged rotary cuff in shoulder, damaged ligament in thumb, big toe likely developing arthiritis. IBS from terrible diet as a kid (I didn't even like beans on toast, thats how fussy I was lmao).
Anyway, enough rambling. As you can see I anit shy about my circumstances nor my hopes for my investment here. Long and short of it modern society has a hedonistic tendency towards activities that overtime lead to bad health outcomes. Do look after yourselves ladies and gentlemen and have fun, just moderation and abstinance from time to time eh. I know my liver agrees with that last part. Now.
Rums all round :)
Ohm I - if you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? I left home at 20 with a few pit stops in my mid twenties. Nothing better than getting your own space
Good on you Pompey !
All the best .
I hear you. It's been a lot longer than I expected and the lack of concrete numbers does get frustrating at times however as beautifully put by Ian, the quaint township of Eurasia Mining will not become like one of those Chinese ghost cities. It'll be a bustling hive of economic output for generations to come with buyers wanting a piece the world over.
And on the personal front for me. Good news, my parents have accepted my explanations as to why I still have a bit of debt and moving out now would not be ideal so another 3 months. Sold some shares in the rock of my PF that is ROCK just so I could say look, I can produce money out of the stock market. No matter what I will be gone in 3 months.
Saved me from having to chop any EUA so I'm pretty happy about that given I had hoped we would kiss 30p after the last RNS and tweet and could sell less in trading than I bought in ISA in worse case scenario for me short term. So I do get why some grow frustrated with how EUA has traded for a year now but that said.
Feet up and relaxed cos I've got a roof over my head, it's my day off and I'm invested in EUA and not sold a bean yet. May even be able to grab some more along the way and new taw year come April.
All the very best everyone.
I'm 60 and have done 40 yrs....basically just want to stop staring at a computer screen and pushing a mouse around a desk to keep a roof over our heads.
Enough dough to be able to stop doing that would do me.
GLA
I agree its taken a long time, but the BOD have been adding far more the EUA end game than any of us LTH ever expected, I can wait longer as this could be an investment for life, multiple asset sales, multiple jv projects and lots more, been a long haul but news from here on in is going to be very exciting GLA
@PP don’t worry postman you’ll soon be a POP ( poor old age pensioner ) like me soon.
Good luck to you my friend. Bye the way the general advice , on this bb, is to hold on to our shares which I have done and will do so …have a nice weekend my friend..pompey
ItsAllBalls
It is nice of you to say so, thanks.
Rodger65
Very fair comments and I agree. Just hoping the BOD can sort this Jam tomorrow to become "here's the jam we have been saying we have"..
Like I said I was always here till the end but unfortunately I didn't envision this to take so long like tbh nobody on here did and end of Feb I need some money and I am just hoping we get something concrete before then with regards to assest sale/divi etc.
Couldnt agree more ASPEN. My thoughts entirely.
Pompeyrod: I think you should really give all your shares to us poor 60 year olds…..that’ll save you worrying about the tax man getting all your gains. Just trying to help.
The BODs are running CONCURRENT strategies as stated in a RNS, which to me is saying EUA1,is progressing to deal situation, and EUA2 is being built up to a position when a RNS, will be issued spelling all this out.
Aubery probably misses the irony of the expression "off plan" ;)
Hi y’all
My goodness don’t know about getting on at nearly 80 must accept I’ve got on..given our 3 score years and ten I’m 10 years past both my sell by date and certainly my best before date..hey ho not to worry.
Don’t really need the money just enjoy the game and this great bb so will enjoy giving money to kids and a few local charities missus wants another motor (automatic) knees shot kneeling on hard floor praying for that elusive rns :-)) plus a new kitchen
and a new scooter for me . Don’t plan leaving anything for HMgov when I go. Have a good weekend everyone..pompey
