Mark, the possibility of that is almost 0.
This is no Micky mouse operation. They have lawyers and business units that look after all the technical side of the rules.
you know that and i know that but the way he keeps using the word delist, delist, it scares people away.
He uses a lot of negative words.
Look how he keeps going on about cash shell and then tell us a share he has invested in which he says is oversold :)
Igbo King is ......i don't want to say it :)
Just trying to establish what exactly ESL own 49% of.
Scaredy cat - put basically they own 49% of what was Esl before this whole saga started
In fairness to truth he is actually quoting aim rules and they can be forced to delist if they don’t follow a set of rules but I think it’s probably safe to assume that they are aware of the rules and aren’t about to let that happen.
CAR3Y - see why i tell peeps to read that RNS? Truth has no truth in him :)
Truth - you said ESL will delist. Read the below
Acquisition of shares and commitment to listing
DBAY can also confirm that it has purchased an additional 62,150,000 shares in the Company, and taken in aggregate with its existing holdings, DBAY and its concert parties now hold 29.9% of the equity in the Company. This purchase of shares indicates DBAY's belief in the future prospects of the Company and demonstrates its intention to maintain the Company's listing.
"DBAY's belief in the future prospects of the Company and demonstrates its intention to maintain the Company's listing."
Does this sound like DBAY want this delisted? see why i said you are full of sh#'? You told Mark here you think they will be de-listed.
-----------------------------------
also read this:
The Company will remain listed and current Eddie Stobart shareholders will be able to participate in any future upside through both equity investments and participation in DBAY's PIK Notes
Under DBAY's past ownership, Eddie Stobart thrived as a highly profitable and cash-generative logistics business. Based on the due diligence undertaken, the DBAY team is confident it can bring the business back to its original strength
DBAY are here to do the right thing!!!
Scaredy cat -
Two listed companies with the stobart name, Stobart group and Eddie stobart logistics.
Esl was spun out of the original stobart group some years back but that not so important but stobart group do still hold shares in ESL 11% ish I believe.
After running into some difficulties and accounting foul ups ( putting it mildly ) dbay who was. Part of the original set up in the days stobart group owned the logistics arm offered to rescue ESL but decided to do it in a rather convoluted way. Derampers will try to convince you this option was taken as they had no choice but that’s not really true there was three interested parties Dbay , wincanton and a group set up by Andrew Tinkler. Wincanton wanted ESL badly but couldn’t get the due diligence done within the timeframe required the books where a mess due to questionable lease arrangements and the much reported £2m accounting black hole again derampers will inflate this figure it was £2m and that’s it!
The Andrew Tinkler deal was scuppered by behind the scenes negotiations with the banks leaving the Dbay investments deal as the only plausible option.
It was structured in a way that meant that the logistics business was spun into a company called greenwhitestar. Dbay via another company Marcelo ltd now own 51% of greenwhitestar and ESL which is effectively a cash shell for the moment own the remaining 49% of greenwhitestar although Dbay have stated they want to turn Esl into an investment company in its own right. All of the above was done via a pik financing arrangement on term that much favoured Dbay but gave Esl very much needed breathing space and although it very much favoured Dbay still isn’t as bad as some derampers would have you believe.
The Esl (currently a cash shell) shareholders also consists of a 27% holding by Dbay 11% holding by stobart plus a couple of others that have been reducing their position for varying reasons.
When people refer to “the group” they are usually referring to the Dbay investment group
Under DBAY's past ownership, Eddie Stobart thrived as a highly profitable and cash-generative logistics business. Based on the due diligence undertaken, the DBAY team is confident it can bring the business back to its original strength
;)
scardey_Cat - RNS 2nd Dec. Its all is there.
Truth:
Who are 'The Group'? Do they have a name? What do they own? (Want to do some research, but obviously can't just google 'The Group'). Just trying to establish what exactly ESL own 49% of.
Quite heavily invested here, so would appreciate your help.
Give it a rest both of you, investor or not we are all watching this space. The politics are not needed.
3x 500k sells were interesting, fingers crossed for some growth next week
"because it’s close to my home and an important employer in the NW."
For the above reason alone you should not bash this stock day in day out. Can you not feel that people are tired of you around here? and why do you think that is? You keep saying i want people to know the truth about this company but your true motive is something else. If people want to know the truth, they have to do their own research just like you. No way anyone would spend as much time commenting on a stock they have 0 shares in. If like you say, you will wait to see DBAYs hands before investing, then do that. Come back when you have seen that evidence.
The only reason people do what you do in chats, social media etc is because they have taken a short position. I have not doubt you have done that on esl. Nothing you say here says you want the best for this company. The opposite is true.
You should not take a short position out on esl or any company because you are playing a role in destroying their employer and jobs, mr i care about this company. By driving investors away, are you doing esl any favors? Shorting is illegal in a lot of countries. it destroyer lives .that is why we all hate shorters. Constant negativity is what we get from you here.
Go and read the RNS on the 2nd of Dec if you want to know what DBAY plan to do. Does it not spell it out for you in simple terms?
Dbay made this company very successful before. They know it inside and out. They stated that they want to take it back to its former glory (their words) . This company has been around for 50 years. They're also adamant that this company stays listed. They loaned the money on 1 condition, We stay listed. So your bull sh'~ about they will be de-listed is laughable. Why would they delist IF they loaned the money on condition that we stay listed? How did you work that out?
They have also said that they would like to keep shareholders with them. That is their intention. ESL does not have to pay DBAY in cash. That is also there. Its a note. If you do not know how highly DBAY rate eddie stob and esl, read the rns. AT is out. His proposal was not accepted by shareholders. 81% voted for DBAY. DBAy will do the right thing for employees, shareholders and eddie stob which has been around for 50 years. There is a lot happening in the back group. exchanges are being made. AT is selling, as we have seen, his holdings reducing. And they are experiencing Christmas volumes right now. They have have money to spare by the end of this covid 19. They are going back up there and they are loved in Briton. see C5. Stop your negativity around here. Let people read the facts, just like you have done, and make up their minds.
READ THE RNS ON DEC 2Nd. Its all in there. This RNS tell you EVERYTHING you need to know. Anyone that has not read it needs to read it in full. PS.Why would Igbo King say i just bought £25,000 in ESL at the same time as you posted the same message here?
Truth: When you say-
"Will be interesting to see how much financial info is provided by the group-which is of course not listed".
Are you sure you are correct regarding the group not being listed? My understanding is that it is listed:-
Stobart Group Ltd LON: STOB
Just trying to understand the overall structure here and this has confused me a bit.
(or, perhaps you can answer that Mark)
stobart group buy greenwhitestar and take the ESL name back ( it’s leased after all ) listing for ESL gets a name change and continues as an investment company then ?
Let's face it people know Stobart for the lorries on the road.
I reckon stobart group may be interested in taking it back under their wing again! Don’t forget just before the virus outbreak got serious they was in talks to sell a large slice of Southend airport. That deal would have sorted the group out, covered their exposure to Flybe/connect air and left them with money over! It well known that they aren’t entirely happy with the whole lease of the name arrangement ....
Truth
I'm interested in what you have to say. So how do you see this playing out for ESL?
I know you are not Nigerian Prince but one thing I do know is that you are actually Tinkler himself.
