Hmm - I think another national lockdown coming - NI and Wales just announced another one. That’s the reason for the selling. Furlough just extended to end of April so the gov are paving the way...
I can see this coming good but not for another 2-3 months. With Escape Hunt only taking bookings from people in the same household (in my location anyway) then revenue is really going to be hit. I had a booking for Saturday with some friends but unfortunately had to cancel it. Another lockdown in January as well I expect. Patience needed.
I think Justin Waite will be kicking himself for going over 3% here as well. He would have known the share price was going to drop but can’t sell many shares otherwise he would have to declare he’s gone back under 3%. This would go against his new strategy of holding long term and letting his winners roll rather than getting out too early. If he had just been slightly under 3% holding he could have sliced some profit and waited for the drop to re-invest it at a lower level, which I’m sure he was itching to do.
Would really like to have a position as think could be a great LTH, anyone else in a similar postion and what entry you looking for?
If you think it’s a good time to invest in a company which basically locks you in a room with other people to escape then you need your head checked.
Ditto - I want in. The company looks attractive for growth and I can see the SP at 50 pence in the next couple of years. However, business is going to be almost non-existent for the next couple of months with lockdowns all over the UK and things getting a lot worse before they get better... I am looking at sub 10 pence as a good entry...
Girdz = another bitter BIDS holder lol
Let me think am I going to listen to you who is currently sitting on a loss in BIDS or myself who bought in BIDS @ 5-6p and sold at 35p....
Talking of BIDS that rampy RNS yesterday was embarrassing all hot air no numbers!!
Yes you are quite right.
Just keeping tabs on what JW says and does. He is manipulator.
I will follow this as I do think there is a case here, but like trendz I do think the sp will drop given they’ll be no real business for months to come.
Just as likely to be a fund raise on the horizon. Expansion plans will require additional working capital. Looks like an excellent company but I’m waiting for next funding cycle until I’ll consider investing.
Could be wrong, of course, in which case I’ll miss the chance but many more fish in the sea ;)
Bobby - yes that is a possibility. They won’t let a limited spell of lockdown limit their ambitions. Indeed the opposite is likely as they eye up a lot of cheap potential high street sites. I think Escape Hunt will become a common brand on the ‘new post Covid’ high street.
BUT, as you suggest they may not have sufficient short term capital to meet those aims.
So I wait on the sidelines for now.
Girdz if your going to post stupid messages like the people locked in the room do everyone a favour and stay clear of here. For sure revenue might not be high because of restrictions that’s why I’m waiting but if they keep up the expansion unlikely to drop much!
If look at escape hunts trip advisor ratings they are insanely good! You might try and say something stupid like your previous comments. Being rated number one attraction in big places in uk speaks volumes.
“You and your teammates get locked in a themed room and have to find and solve a series of clues in order to escape”
@devil2789 the above is a quote from their website.
Have you even done an escape room before?
A group of mates are not going to be doing an escape room for a long time. Reality I’m afraid.
We’ll be wearing masks and social distancing till the end of 2021.
Vaccinations for general population, ie not vulnerable, won’t happen till at least april 2021.
Good luck with your investment.
Haha clueless!
If I was you I’d think about that BIDS RNS yday to boost the price for a placing because when the pathetic revenues are released end of month it’s gonna be back down to 3p
