This share is tosh !! no doubt about it . As i have said before , the dilutions in that past have just paid for EOG to keep chugging on and the directors are masters of spin . Ireland will be a closed route so that leaves Wressle ticking along which has done nothing to the share price since it was spudded . Market cap is probably fair and only an Irish farm out and strike will put this share anywhere from where it is now ..............with these new North sea licences coming up for grabs , i sniff another cash raise / dilution ......................disaster . But still i hold . Only 49% down over 10 years .
I was wondering about the timing of Williams purchases...
What does Christian W Ahlefeldt-Laurvig know that we don’t? Unless he’s sympathetically investing to experience losses like the rest of us?
EDR up, their RNS worded a bit better.
Could of, should of been worded so much better than this, why oh why Mr Holland are you doing this?
Weren’t Europa going to employ help for PR, I think a thirteen year old could have done better.
Have a look at the RNS from Union Jack - its so much better ---Hopeless at PR
Talk of the second development well is far more interesting than a little water, which was expected and easily dealt with.
"The contribution of formation water has been long expected at the W1 well and we are prepared to handle the water. The size of the oil accumulation within the Ashover Grit formation is still expected to be at the top end of the original CPR estimate and I look forward to updating the market with the updated reserves once the new production data has been incorporated into the dynamic reservoir model. This will ensure that the second development well is drilled in the optimal location and that the recovery rate is maximised."
What's the view on 12 month decline rate from first water GP?
Exactly no real effect daft really the way they put that out unless there’s another reason let’s see but not happy imho
Fully expected water to be produced at some point. That is normal. What I do find remarkable is the slow progress of the next stages for the development of the asset. I don’t get a sense of urgency. Have the operators gone to sleep or maybe on holiday?
Still only 3.72% so far & up to 3P 1.12 MMstb hoped for. That helps explain somewhat the delayed CPR. GLA, DAB
I suppose it had to happen at some time.
It highlights the facts that Ireland is desperately short of Natural-Gas.
This Natural-Gas requirement should be sourced from our own indigenous supplies.
The Natural-Gas associated with the Barryroe Discovery, by the drilling and proving up the Inishkea and associated prospects, and the drilling of Corrib Deep as a first stage of development.
Ireland would be one of the few countries in Europe able to supply its own Natural Gas National requirments for decades ahead.
Now we have the situation with our ageing Electricity Generating Stations to resolve.
Under some fanfare the Taoiseach at the time Micheal Martin stated throughout the media that Ireland required the construction of 7 Natural-Gas Electricity Generating Stations to meed the Electricity demand both at present and in the near future.
No further significant updates on this subject since.
In addition no further updates on the 40 or so jet engines that Minister Eamonn Ryan rented or purchased to convert to Electricity Generation to backup the conventional production to meet increasing National demands.
Or perhaps there is insufficient capacity within the Moffat pipeline to satisfy this further Natural-Gas Supply demand.
The conventional electricity production must be able to meet present and near term National demands.
Wind farms and solar panels will not produce on demand Electricity
Their production of Electricity varies fromm 100% of realistic potential to as low of less than 1% for days on end.
Therefore the inability of the Republic of Ireland to produce its own Electricity to meet present and future demand is a serious and increasing situation to the stability of the Economy.
Does highlight the fact they need gas supplies nearer home and caverns to store the gas like IM
One could also include the importation of Electricity via the interconner from Wales to the Republic of Ireland
This interconnector has the capability to carry in the region of 350 MWh of Electricity .
This safety net is being utilised by the Republic of Ireland to prevent the lights going out.
Both the interconnecor from Northern Ireland and the interconnector from Wales could potentially have no available Electricity to export to the Republic of Ireland in the near future.
Potential major problems for Minister Eamonn Ryan and and his Government Partners.
Leo Varadkar and Tanaiste Michael Martin.
The construction of the new Natural-Gas Electricity Generating Station in Northern Ireland due to commence production in October 2023 will now be delayed until we'll into 2024.
The ageing Coal fired stations which will cease production as planned in late 2023.
The Republic of Ireland imports up to 400 + MWh of Electricity from Northern Ireland.
The real possibility this safety net of importation of Electricity will not be available.
In addition 3 Coal fired Electricty Generating Stations in England are being decommissioned at present.
This will place the United Kingdom Electricity supply grid under severe stress.
This article delivers the non blinkered insight as to the consequences of no direct supply of Electricity to the Republic of Ireland from Northern Ireland.

Crosby warren( EOG) , Whisby, West Firsby(EOG) about 41 bopd net to EOG, so a decline for Dec 2021 when that was around 72 bopd net to EOG. , and over 80 bopd early in 2021
Probably could do with an acid job to get them flowing good again
FRom NSA data for May 23,
Wressle 778 bopd, seems fairly steady( slight variance) over last 9 months
Crosby warren( EOG) , Whisby, West Firsby(EOG) about 41 bopd net to EOG, so a decline for Dec 2021 when that was around 72 bopd net to EOG. , and over 80 bopd early in 2021
The share price will always drift lower over time without any news updates.
Anyone know what's happening at Wressle in real time. Ujo have yet to report 17m revenues.
Slow decline atm waiting on news it gets to 1p I’ll load up more
Reasonable question Biggleswerf, my understanding of the current Irish Government's position & the current law, is that all valid licences will be honoured (allegedly, but yet to be seen under Ryan) & no new licences will be issued. I can not imagine any timed out licence, being put back up for sale by Ryan, so Vermillion + CPPIB can not play the waiting game. And Vermillion + CPPIB have a relatively recent $4Billon undersea & on land gas infrastructure investment going to rust, if they don't do a deal with either EOG (by Dec/Jan) or PRD or both, plus maybe a Corrib deep drill.
All to play for !!!! GLA, DYOR, DAB
