Makes even more sense for Novinsky than for a group of several shareholders as the case is with JKX
Cannot trust the Ukrainian legal system
JKX delisting tender offer might be the reason here chaps....
Talks with FCA. problem with not 20% free float
All on very thin volumes. Seems no one is prepared to buy and someone needs to sell regardless of the price
May be that some company specific news finally coming. Definitely, not market related
Bizarre and irritating anyway
The usual panic that sets everyone off for no apparent reason. Good time to get back in as you might see a quick return to previous levels and beyond? Hold on! ;-)
Gas price up 16% today.
And that said not sure why JKX would have same.
Nope. Russkie troop build-up is all I can see.
I assume gas prices are heading back down?
Let's hope so OF,
Not sure why I'm so deeply suspicious; making lots of money on this one...
Guess it's that classic dilemma of moral integrity v personal gain.
I'm sticking around a while yet though...what does that tell you about me?!?!
its is just 0.5% discount to what SMART get. With the bundling of production enabling a higher achieved price and overall operational efficiency
(see here from RNS):
"Furthermore, Smart Energy has agreed to combine Regal's gas production with its own gas production, and to sell such gas as combined volumes, which should result in higher sales prices due to the larger sales volumes. In order to cover Smart Energy's sales, administration and regulatory compliance costs, Regal has agreed to sell its gas to Smart Energy at a discount of 0.5% to the gas sales prices achieved by Smart Energy.
The terms of sale for Regal's gas to Smart Energy are (i) payment for one third of gas delivered by the 20(th) of the month of delivery, and (ii) payment of the remaining balance by the 10(th) of the month following the month of delivery.
And also the price they have been selling has been tracking up with the actual price. "
In the last HYR (not mentioned in Q3) the realised gas price was reported slightly higher than that reported by JKX.
So go figure.
I wasn't aware that the Site:
https://www.ueex.com.ua/eng/exchange-quotations/natural-gas/medium-and-long-term-market/#data-filter
Was potentially so inaccurate. The achieved prices for the month were getting there. Say HYR of UAH6,897/Mm(3) corresponded to roughly that on the ueex site of the price in January 2021. So expecting big increase Q4..
Inter-company trading means that Enwell pricing to Smart is entirely irrelevant.
It doesn't matter what price Enwell sell at; it only matters what price Smart sell at. Because Enwell is a wholly owned subsidiary of Smart.
Enwell sells to Smart, exclusively.
Smart then play the market pricing accordingly.
Enwell pricing has nothing to do with market prices.
If Novinskiy chooses to sell to Smart below or above the prevalent market rate then all he has to do is to justify the rationale...
Ukraine has not been buying Russian gas directly for seceral years
They buy it from Europe but it is still Russian gas. More expensive because of transportation
The link you provided, which everyone uses, is for a pretty illiquid and therefore irrelevant instrument
Just have a look at the volumes, peanuts
Nobody buys gas at these prices these days
It was relevant historically but not any longer in this frenzy time
I think from some point gas prices are somewhat irrelevant for the likes of ENW
Whether it is $1000 or 2000 per mcm, I think ENW still sells its gas for $500-600 per mcm
ENW prices are definitely linked to spot prices, but only to a certain extent
Also, would not be surprised if Smart Energy gets at least part of the upside
OK Krok,
I'll play STICK too!
Impossible to fathom Putin from this end. He opened his mouth yesterday and crashed European gas price. And UK gas Company gas prices. Again!. LOL.
He must be loving the power he's got. The plan maybe to tie Europe to long high price gas contracts. That would I suppose reduce current price a bit.. But maybe long term higher European price?
It seems that Ukraine gas prices are above that of Europe. That is interesting. I get Europe would then resupply Ukraine. but there is a mark-up on the Euro-Ukraine border/gas hubs it appears.. (in link)

I guess if Ukraine is cut out of Russian supply they will have to import gas via Berlin?
Do they know something the boys from Ukraine about the quality and quantity of the tests ie. is an inside information?
Or is approaching something else ie. new acquisition or merger?
Will definitely wait for well results
Then wait to see if we have a harsh winter
Can easily go to 60p
December-January seems to be the right time to exit
Krok - adieu?
see you again in 3 years!?
Or stay around for some more..?
seems that 50p is around the corner
Huge volume and now 47p has just been paid. If there is a leak then it must be good news
How much has it dropped I cant find a chart thks
If the gas price is going to continue to pull-back then I think Enwell will struggle, unless the the test result is very strong.
700-800 boepd, overall production south of 6 kboepd and we may see 50p share price
Something is going on as we have just passed the 52wk high and volume is already 200k+ for the day.
I dare to predict that perhaps we’ll have results very soon -even today- due to the strong volume?
