IMS’s should arrive before Friday as we know Rufus’s feelings on Friday RNS’s. Hopefully the Company will want to give something to shareholders by way of a solid unambiguous statement with figures and conformation of their on track belief to break-even.
aerial - that sounds suspiciously like the info I keep moaning about - "solid unambiguous statement with figures and conformation of their on track belief to break-even". Technically they can go to Monday 30th September under AIM rules, but I agree with you and I expect something this week. GLA
GreenWolf
The difference between our posts is that the IMS's are due, it's the
first time I have posted what I expect, and I'm not moaning about it.
aerial - noted, although I look at this quite simply. If you had given £50k to an investor eighteen momths ago and now it was worth £7.5k and that investor continued to tell you not to worry as it will all come good, would you not be disgruntled? It's all about us having balanced debates, as you said last week. You and Bigeye think everything is fine, I don't and we should be accepting of other's views. Let's see what the next week brings. GW
Gw, if, as you say you have been investing for some time, then surely awareness of risk v reward should be factored in?
I always recognise these things before I press the buy button ( and I presume Aerial and others do as well ). Africa is and always will be high risk in my opinion! As for UJO, if you had invested your £50k 6 years ago it would have been worth approx £12.5k as of early March. Risk v reward.
GreenWolf
I have never said that I think everything is fine, that's your assumption, and I'm not disgruntled, and never blame others for my investment decisions.
Surprised you’re engaging with those two GW, that’s exactly what they want you to do, to massage their delicate investor egos and convince mainly themselves, that they haven’t been taken to the bank like the rest of us. I suspect there may be some linkage or loyalty to the management there too, which makes for an even more biased opinion.
Of course it will come good one day; either that or just fold, throw in the dice. But when it does “come good”, will they mean that the millions invested here see a good return? Almost definitely not, that’s already been seen to with the mess of last year. Even in the most optimistic view, there are no dividends or growth anywhere near term, so the “come good” will be very short-lived and the bears will be in and out of the woods like a rat up a drainpipe leaving the LTH once again holding the baby. Edenville is like the proverbial clock that is right twice a day. It’s just that Edenville “come good” on average about once every five years: once with it original discovery and again with the coal import ban. The paradigm is to keep sucking investors money into the company who believe the LTH thing. It just doesn’t work on AIM.
Classic Captain Mannering quote comes to mind!
Enough said.
LG - the phrase "you need to be in it to win" comes to mind.
Since you sold at a "L A R G E" loss I know you must be angry, but you cannot win them all.
Take it like a man and go on to the next one.
Agreed with distinction JZ
What two is he talking about? can't be you and me BigEye we're filtered. pmsl
From another BB...
MEMBERNAME.......is that not arrogance......just because you post something, does not make it the truth......it is merely your opinion......you may be right......but you must accept, you may also be wrong........so in essence what you say is not the truth and you should not dress it up as such.......
.......by all means have an opinion, even reference the particular pages and/or paragraphs in each of the reports that you disagree with.......would that not give more credence to any concern you have and then allow a debate?
No, not us!
I'm still waiting for Gw to respond my analogy between his £50k and UJO!
Crab bought from a pond and cooked for tomorrows dinner!!!
JohnZ
Truth has been a topic of discussion in it's own right for thousands of years. The posters argument falls down if 'the poster' is not posting an opinion, but telling the truth! ;))
Good to see admin clamping down on the two clowns spouting fiction.
Big eye crab bought from a pond?
Oh nobi ( I seem to say this all the time )
To what posts do you refer to ?
Have you bought or do you sell these absorbent keks ?
I am beginning to like your posts ( laughingly )
Pie, I bought a crab from a wholesaler who has brown crab ( and lobster ) in a man made pond like a big bath!
Alive and kicking so to speak! 4 quid for a kilo female crab.
I still prefer pies as my girth will testify!

Double Pie, Single Mash n Liquor with a side of Stewed Eels. Luverly !! :)
JZ it looks like a big larry might of been a TCG holder!
I dont feel sorry for TCG shareholders, I am saddened for the loss of employment of many people including some close friends.
Still, good people are not without a job for long.

BigEye

Not me, but it has been removed as was one of JZD!
