Chrysalis...completely understand where you are coming from. If the BT phase3 outcomes are per what we have been given to understand they will be and GB puts some serious resources quality PR for Main Stream, Social and Financial Media Markets at the time of said P3 results being announced and our Broker does their job too then this one product could be the means to putting Deepverge well and truly on the map. Fast and highly accurate testing products are going to be needed for some years to come.
Andrew Marr was fully vaccinated but still went down with what he said was a very nasty case of Covid last week...and how often do BBC Presenters have to be tested...
The £10 million raised today allows us to maintain this momentum. I would like to thank both existing investors for their support and the high net-worth professional, family office and institutional clients of Turner Pope Investments, including Gresham House, who subscribed for a material proportion of the raise."
Share your concerns there Goldfinches. I must admit I raised an eyebrow whilst watching the Proactive interview and GB mentioned that the delay in the signing of the China resources J/V was due to the J/V having to be modified into an 'alternative mechanism that suits all" ..... whatever that means !?!?!?!?
That said, I think this is a little gem of a company with the possibility of phenomenal growth in their three different and separate projects PD, BT and Labskin/Skintrust if they can pull it off. I was pleased to hear that Skintrust kits will be hitting the local drug store shops soon after the android app is released. Fair play to GB, I think he has done a great job thus far getting all the pieces in place and with some very big players.. Lets hope he can keep the momentum up and convert it into similar sized contracts. That is what is going to shift the share price North.
I am considering increasing my holding here but the one thing that is holding me back is the lack of significant institutional investment. As far as I can tell, only Helium hold a significant amount and in fact the minnow MSYS appears to have more interest. Bearing in mind the significant increase in revenue last year and the forward guidance for this year, my dilemma is; is it a case that institutions haven't cottoned on to this one yet .... or something else. that I have overlooked?
At any rate, an exciting few weeks ahead I feel.
ATB
I think that the recent mergers etc from businesses that historically hadn't been stellar are the problem for the share price, there's no proof of performance so the sum of parts equals not a lot, proof of the synergy between these parts are what's needed. I believe that is coming, and when either lots of small incremental sales hit the bottom line and a large % y on y growth is seen, or there is a large contract or two RNSd, then the price will shift. I'm as loaded as I want to be based on my simple (and probably illogical) portfolio balance rules, 8-10% depending on what's happening to the rest of the portfolio.
I like the analogy of a long odds horse riding next year.
As a LTH from the skin and modern water days I greatly welcome the progress and growth that the company is making and agree that the future looks bright as we have several revenue generating businesses going forward. My one fear, and it’s a big one, is re the JV with China. As a previous investor in both NFX and VRS both those companies recent exploits with potential Chinese investors should sound a note of caution.Of course the Chinese companies will initially welcome you in,but it can then be similar to a Venus fly trap.I just hope that the IP is incredibly well protected because if not the history of many companies both big and small is littered with examples of either non payment of monies or IP theft.I for one would much sooner complete transformational deals with Europe and the USA,yes barriers will still exist here as well but they will not be unsurmountable and the risk of IP theft/loss will be much lower.
Trills,
Re your initial post on this thread:-
"This doesn't seem to have caused much excitement. Will we see an agreement with an American company soon that will do what EPS will be doing in Europe?"
So we have China Resources for China/Asia, EPS for Europe, so I agree that it is highly likely that there would be a J/V with a US company for any US rollout. EPS is too small and I can't see the yanks allowing the Chinese to go anywhere near their critical infrastructure and more so their data which would be deemed as highly sensitive.
I'm probably way off the mark as it is difficult to second guess GB but there does appear to be an obvious candidate.
Anyone for Dell?
According to the RNS they already handle/look after the data, they are already partners and certainly they have the manufacturing capacity and distribution clout t to make it happen.
My guess anyway
As I've just had pointed out to me in the real world URL missing an r ... so at the third time of asking:

OK, forum doesn't like the link. To save anybody having to copy and paste this will go to same page:

Additionally, Wiggington’s work with Stanford University has informed the methodology for the solid sampling procedure and analysis that they will conduct with these four communities in Michigan. Her work has shown that solid sampling can offer a more precise detection of COVID in wastewater.
Both projects are part of Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy and MDHHS’ COVID-19 wastewater coordinated surveillance network established in the fall of 2020 as a pilot project. The SARS-CoV-2 Epidemiology – Wastewater Evaluation and Reporting Network will continue utilizing locally coordinated projects to conduct surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 virus shed into Michigan public sewer systems.
According to MDHHS, the pilot project included 3,204 wastewater sample tests between April and December with 62.5 percent of the samples being positive

University of Michigan researchers surveying wastewater systems for SARS-COV-2 will be able to increase testing sites and continue monitoring until 2023 after receiving more than $5 million from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The funding, announced this week, is part of MDHHS’s $49 million to support 19 projects to continue COVID-19 wastewater surveillance and implement COVID-19 variant strain testing of wastewater.
The grants include $2.5 million for Krista Wigginton, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering and Kevin Bakker, an assistant research scientist at U-M’s School of Public Health; and $2.7 million for Chuanwu Xi, a professor of environmental health sciences at the School of Public Health.
“This new grant will allow us to monitor more frequently and for an extended period of time the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2, including a few variant strains, in sewage from several buildings off campus in addition to sites on campus that we have been monitoring,” Xi said. “Data collected will allow us to evaluate the situation of COVID-19 spread in the community and the effectiveness of vaccination and other public health interventions.
“Our data will be shared in a real-time fashion with our county and state health departments and the university COVID-19 response committees to assist the development of data-driven public health policies.”
Xi’s research team also includes Rick Neitzel, Tim Dvonch, Marisa Eisenberg, Peter Song and Al Franzblau, all professors at the School of Public Health. Xi said project partners included the U-M Environment, Health & Safety Department, the city of Ann Arbor and Hamburg Township. Xi’s team has focused on testing wastewater at the Ann Arbor campus and was instrumental in setting additional public health interventions last year with an initial support from the Provost’s Office and SPH Dean’s Office.
Wiggington said the grant will allow them to add three new members to her team and to expand their current work with the wastewater treatment systems in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti to Jackson and Flint. It will also allow them to analyze daily, or near daily, influent and solid samples to monitor for the prevalence of COVID within these communities.
Data from the sample analysis will be shared to a statewide dashboard, but the team is also partnering with local health departments in Washtenaw, Geneessee and Jackson counties to inform their local responses to COVID.
“We’re excited to participate in this important project for the State of Michigan to continue fighting COVID-19,” Wiggington said. “Wastewater-based epidemiology has shown to be a valuable tool to inform public health officials of case levels and infection trends in a community.”
Gresham not Chatham, doh
Surely Chatham have taken more than 3% here if they committed to a "material" amount of the £10m so where's their holding RNS?

I would like to thank both existing investors for their support and the high net-worth professional, family office and institutional clients of Turner Pope Investments, including Gresham House, who subscribed for a material proportion of the raise."
BTW Gerry shouldn't we have had a new holdings rns from our new investor by now following that £10m placing?
Cheers NU, that does ring a bell. Irrelevant question now I guess though.
Trills,
Re Helium investment strategy, I recall they said they would sell down only if a single stock exceeded 15% of their total investment fund (whichever fund that is). Happy to be corrected if I am wrong or that has changed?
Let's stop using that header then.
Thanks Gerry, I did wonder about that too. At least it's clear it wasn't them at least.
I think it was an honest mistake which anyone could have made.
So we at least know the following then:
9,571,943.00 Helium
215,138,276.00 DVRG
4.45% %
£0.32 Price
£3,063,021.76 Value
True and all those betting exchange type ways of trading encourage so much short termism now. People seem to be either taking very temporary long or short positions rather than acting as LTH investors and of course they CGT avoid tax on any returns.
NU, I think a lot of investors on Aim just see this as a way to gamble. They want the horse race over and done with so they can bet on the next one where as the clever ones back the 500/1 dead cert that isn't racing until next year. Each to their own though.
Between us we seem to be unearthing a tonne of related opportunities here and yet it all feels a bit pancakey at the moment. Seems like peeple are either not really interested in what DVRG could be become or are waiting until contract news finally gets RNSd. Are we really the only ones who buy shares like this that could potentially have huge growth and in fairly short order too. Whatever happened to investing ahead of the big news announcements or have people on AIM just become conditioned to only buying the next big thing AFTER it happens? We have plenty of followers here and twitter for sure but........ I just wish I had more cash available to add here.
Nice find T.Rat. Our play in America is a sleeping giant that could easily eclipse the potential contracts in Europe.
