'Driver Group’s management would like to invite you to meet with management and hear presentations from executives from their regional offices and key divisions.
The date is not yet firm, but we’re looking at the first week of October. Our preference is for a physical meeting at Driver Group’s London office, and since we know you have shown an interest in Driver Group before, we wanted to find out your availability first.'
but when/what sp?
I am greedily waiting for a price closer to 50p to replace those flipped @60p

The presentation was worth watching - 2 observations:
1 - an extra 1% in staff utilisation [currently at 72%] increases the bottom line by £0.5m. The are currently looking at various ways to make more profitable use of downtime.
2 - having both Spanish and Portuguese language skills in-house in helping grow the Americas side of the business, especially the South American side of the business run from the recently opened New York office.
#DRV we initiate today with a fair value of 72p, vs a current price of 50p. https://www.equitydevelopment.co.uk/research/creditable-results-and-research-initiation

50k seller keen lol
will we see low 40s again? Quite possibly...the quality of earnings is always the challenge
Driver done well , just wished they gave a indication of progress couple months ago as the share got trashed.
Healthy cash balance represents a third of the market cap. Expects significant progress in near future.
I sense this is a false drop
I'd usually see that as a negative, but ....
Looking at adding at these prices , Driver never been good at communicating even through they are a consulting company.
@44.95p, so rebought a small portion of my winnings/free carry
still wonder whether the lack of quality in earnings
eventually plays out as consolidation
around book or even tangible book value (30-35p+)
#patiencepays
Needs Volume , then we will see share movement
Trading update and notice of results due next week. Should make for uptick in coming days.
Hahaa well jolly has a habit of being right, and - having looked into DRV in some depth - I agree with Jolly on this one.
As I said back 3 months ago:
"In the absence of anything being said since that cautiously positive 15th April statement, my feeling is that H2 of this financial period is likely to show a year-on-year fall. Consequently, even though I'm a big fan and believe Driver Group shall do extremely well in the longer term, I have decided not to invest at this point in time. Will keep a close eye on things with a view to investing when the time feels right."
The shares then shot up from 50p to 65p so I felt I had been humbled at the time but it's back to where it started when I first looked into this, and I still feel the same way.
Will be looking at the mid-Oct update with intrigue and expect this to head towards 40p if I'm being honest - which would be a cracking entry point for a long-term investment here.
Could be wrong (I often am!) but that's my honest opinion.
Best of luck to you, Thorndon & other holders here.
Not very Jolly ; Jollyspeculator more negitivespeculator
nope, perfection ain't here...
why not wait for re-test of 40-45p?
