dominos pizza flying...is this next ?
http://tinyurl.com/otwum8o The chief executive of DP Poland (LON:DPP), Peter Shaw, comments on the company’s half-year results, which confirmed like-for-like sales had grown for the eleventh consecutive quarter and losses had been cut. The Domino’s Pizza franchise holder for Poland told investors today it had seen an improvement in store performance and will continue to focus on finding and negotiating new sites. It also added that it will open its new commissary soon, giving it the capacity to supply fresh dough and ingredients to its stores across Poland.
to pop soon
Morning is good for those who are planning on toppings up.
Morning aint the best for pizza...lunch and dinner for the rise.
Not much dough has been made? Would have thought higher rise with more grabbing a slice
Anyone for pizza ?
Me too ( as a top up though ) :)
Seems to be holding up well...when's the next news due?
Wonder how far this will drift over summer with lack of news and placing shares. Will be keeping a close eye for a nice buy in price in the quiet months ahead
That someone does not want the stock to rise prior future funding via a destructive dilution if it is below 50p. Greed being exercised at its troglodyte roots.Could be a predator.
...and is decimated by profit taking every time it makes a gain. If this ever makes £1 now I'd be amazed.
Thanks. Was expecting it earlier and wondered at getting in at around 15-18p. Well, it is 18p now so will have to wait and see if I get the opportunity or if it takes off before I get the funds from elsewhere.
http://tinyurl.com/ka2a6r3 Peter Shaw, chief executive of DP Poland (LON:DPP), says the goal this year is to roll out the pizza franchise in two or three cities in Poland. The Domino’s Pizza franchisee already has stores in Warsaw and Krakow but it is aiming to expand outside Poland’s largest two cities in 2015. Shaw says the strategy is a combination of profitability and expansion. The company’s share price was on the rise yesterday after it revealed like-for-like sales across its corporate and franchised outlets were 17% higher than last year’s January-March period.
Any placing under 50p is a waste of time. I have seen way too many companies on aim diluted into billions of worthless shares which is exactly the markets end game. Strategic cautious expansion is the best solution.
once funds allow! Is there likely (as I have been told by a shareholder) to be a placement and if so when and best guess at what price? Looks a good long term bet here but need to get free from a couple of other shares before getting in here.
10 consecutive quarters of double digit like-for-like system sales growth. Continuing improvement in store EBITDA performance. Commissary profit building.
Peter Shaw, Chief Executive of DP Poland said: "Q4 2014 saw an inflection point in store performance with total store EBITDA positive each month for the first time. Q1 2015 saw a further strengthening in the EBITDA performance of our corporate stores and our franchisees report continuing improvement in their store profitability. With the establishment of the commissary as a profit centre in Q4 2014, following the franchising of a third of the store estate, we are seeing the variable profit of commissary beginning to build through royalties on retail sales, sales of food and non-food items to franchisees. 2015 promises to be another year of progress as our maturing stores deliver growing returns and we extend the estate into new cities."

achieve what Domino's UK has done takes few years but that went from this low to nearly £8. Domino USA having decent rise as well. Let's see £1 first then who knows!
Nice sudden buys and was recently oversold. Come from 8p and naturally there was profit taking at 24p. Should see decent upside from here! Up 10.53% now.
Loves Pizza. Do the Polish ? I'd say yes but it's up to the managers to produce good quality and the product will sell itself. The golden rule with food is as follows: you pay peanuts you get monkeys cooking your food and the produce will get dumped. Good chefs won't fail.
...never seems to be able to gain any traction. That recent rise to 20p plus is going to be wiped out and it'll be back down at 10p again. There has always been wave after wave of profit taking after every upward movement so that the price never makes any real progress. I started buying three and a half years ago and have added more a number of times on the way down. I not so sure now this will ever emulate the UK stock price-wise.
Can show what they want the fact is pizza is like the wheel. It's hard to reinvent it.
