Ffs give us simple shareholders a heads up
No comment from my resident friend Brooko.....sure it will come.....wonder whether he still thinks 80p was a good buy in price😊☘️
Result is on 24th/25th April so may be news leaked about potential fund raise. No pump from JW either which means ...
A tree shake so folks in know can load up with cheap shares?
Has something gone wrong, and those in the know are bailing?
Start UP lol Nounce Filtered
Disaster.
Is this heading for the graveyard of many previoud doomed pharma starts ups?
Or was the seller for many months cleared out today? capitulation
With a Mkt Cap dipping below £20 M i bought a few
Surely they now need to put out a statement to say that talks are ongoing and that they see no reason why ...
Agreed however the recent change to the M3 protocol may have moved that funding into 2024
Can never say never of course but I prefer to go off the RNS that states “The Company is funded through to Q1 2025, allowing it to deliver on its current planned activities.”
PA has all the hallmarks of a fund raise.
Yes, but don't forget that JohnHenry is probably not a holder of DEST shares.
Possibly but I thought XF-73 was more effective? Both have a fast bacterial mechanism of 10mins or so but Steriwave 50% effective, according to the video in the link, where as Xf-73 is claimed to be 99.5% effective in eradicating Staphylococcus.
If you consider XF73 is 2-3 years away from being commercial, Steriwave could have become the standard of Care by that time.
The state of bio companies raising funds in USA is far better than here. Dest may go down that route and into Nasdaq, could also go private as atm no much investment going in and pretty quiet till results.
Kipper and Volmer, I agree with you both, in that patience is the key with this drug. I fail to understand why traders are still selling when the shares are 1/3 of the price from 3 weeks ago, there is no value in selling, even to pay a tax bill. I certainly won't be selling and when I feel the doomsters have all sold out, I will be filling my boots at this bargain price.
Although there is potential for a second phase 2 because of the restructuring of the drug, delaying it's commercialisation, that 2nd phase 2 as far as I know, still hasn't been confirmed yet meaning there could be an announcement round the corner confirming the start of phase3. . Even if there is a 2nd phase 2, it will only delay by 6 months and I'm happy to wait.
ThunderRoad and kipper, its not just Destiny. Look at all the other small caps. So many are showing outstanding value after price falls. Let's not forget that it is the end of the tax year and this is a time when investors adjust portfolios for tax purposes leading to selling for tax purposes. Perhaps this is also a factor for some small caps.
ThunderRoad, I agree DEST is not a share for short term traders - time span between significant news is just too long for some and not enough feedback from the company. I believe the XF-73 deal will be announced 'soon' but I think its a complex deal which is why its taking a long time. I've been quietly adding at these ridiculously low levels (today's trades at about 25.3 - 25.4 are in fact BUYS, not SELLS, by the way), so one person's concern is another person's opportunity. Its a matter of being patient, focusing on the fundamentals and ignoring moronic BB chat and bloggers with their own agendas.
I must admit, if I was a new trader, I would be very concerned about the drop of Destiny's share price but I've seen it all before with Verona Pharma. I first bought some VRNA shares at 8p and saw the price go on a fairground ride before I eventually sold at £17.50. I remember many people demanding that the company put out a statement clarifying that the huge dips in share prices was not based on any foundation but Verona never bothered which did incense some of the traders however it came good in the end. All I watch in Dest8ny are the institutional holders and if they started jumping ship I would, but they all seem to have confidence in the company and these are big companies like Hargreaves Lansdown. Like everyone else, I've lost a lot on this drop but will just stop looking at the share price for a year and hopefully get a nice surprise in a year's time. In the immortal words of Corporal Jones 'don't panic'
Sentiment in Dest is low with the share price on it's knees, but AMR is still a global threat as highlighted in the FT article below and in my opinion Dest has a solution in XF-73. We just need BP to sign a licensing deal and watch it rocket.

Tatty one hopes that XF73 is better and then some..
IMO the Board must surely address the fall from 81p and give a candid update on progress viz discussions. Early April please. Time too for Sir Nigel and CT to shine I hope. Early April please.
Because it is more effective.
My concern is why would anyone choose xf73 as opposed to any of the current existing and competing products? Sometimes the best product loses out to better marketing.
