Will move fast
The acquisitions could come thick and fast according to this:
https://www.marketing-interactive.com/sir-martin-sorrell-unveils-next-steps-for-s4-capital-post-mediamonks-buyout/
The prospectus added that the group may run either or both stages of this process in respect of more than one potential acquisition opportunity at any one time.
This is because it is seeking to acquire content, data analytics capabilities and media planning and digital media buying capacity as a priority, the next priority being international expansion.

I expect Sorrell will be making announcements leading up to the
launch, there are probably deals done that are yet to be announced!
GL.
This is this week's best punt imho .
They love to drop it
Back to blue very shortly.
luckily my gain here outweighed my loss there so im still up overall. but pissed off obviously, i only went on kellan as a bored punt yesterday, anyway we need to move on. Still got a few of these but not as much as i had. probably explains todays dip
Thank you addicknt, I shall look into that.
seedcorn, one potential target to keep your eye on is Telum media. It's only relatively small at the moment, but was set up by Michael Webster, who made a fortune establishing and then selling Gorkana. It's in the space that Sorrell has said he wants to expand into. There is also a coincidental connection: Webster's father is David Webster, he of Safeway and much else beside. Webster senior's corporate finance advisor and close friend is Rupert Faure Walker.
i was forced to sell some of my derr this morning because i got ramped into kellan, had to cover the loss unfortunately - i will buy this back after the full deal goes through now.
You make a good point about the existing DERR shareholders rearranging their holdings from DERR into S4. I was doing a bit of research into Solent Capital Partners yesterday following the TR1.
I am also wondering if it is possible to identify some of the potential targets that S4 may be aiming for once the RTO is completed. Years ago, early 1990's If memory serves me right, I held shares in a company that WPP bought out. I've been racking my brains trying to remember the name of the company which I had bought as a penny share. Was it Millward Brown? Something like that. The company was monitoring audience reaction etc. to advertising. I do remember doing well out of the deal receiving a second payout for a performance bonus that doubled the buy out price. There may be some mileage in identifying such new targets so I would expect some chatter about that over coming weeks. I cannot see Sir Martin letting momentum slip. Does anyone have any thoughts? Regards, Seedcorn.
Morning All!
Sorrell must no doubt intend the stock market debut of his new venture
to attract much attention....would expect he will be unveiling further
news that will ensure headlines on the day....!

Some investors/institutions who bought Derriston in the Dec 16 placing paying 10p sold in the last couple of days profiting at say 18p but have participated in the S4 fundraise at 117p which is 11.7p in current Derriston money Regardless, anyone buying now will make money imo in the long term as SMS is on the war path Interesting to see what S4 opens at on 28/9, my guess is that further acquisitions are on their way and we will quickly breach 200p
Some heavy weight investors reorganising their holdings in Derriston but look at what they’ve subscribed for in the new vehicle S4 Capital - read B.6 in the prospectus Derriston effectively becomes S4 on 28/9 with MCAP circa £300m following MediaMonks acquisition S4 shares issued/funds raised at 117p (11.7p in current money) Derriston IPO was 10p December 2016 Important to read across and view the holdings separately
Interesting that no one had a view on the issue of the B share (unless it's already been much discussed and I missed it, if this is the case I apologise)
I'm trying to work out whether to invest in the business and want to consider all aspects, which includes corporate governance. It has been many years since I've seen a company come to market with a two tier share structure. It was common place at one time, but as governance became an issue, institutions put pressure on companies to drop it and most of them are not permitted to invest in companies that have them. So this situation intrigues me. Clearly, those institutions which have invested, don't mind, but this is very much contrary to modern thinking. For my own swat analysis, it remains a negative; but is it sufficient reason not to invest?
Well i not going to keep replying to everything on here, just tedious quite frankly, go read the full prospectus and do your own research.
Remind me again what year WPP was £1. Call me a deramper if you like, I think the company warning about the changes to the shares on the 28th should tell you everything you need to know and is far better than - this is going to 50p, institutional investors will be loading up at this price etc etc - wonder how many will be here come 28th when share consolidation happens and people realise what this company is worth. GLA who are invested and hope it works out. Don’t trust anyone on these board (me included) DYOR.
I agree the company may be worth more in many years time so if you’re investing for the long term then you will do well, but most here for a short term pump.
Many must know that Martin Sorrell is a ruthless self made
multi millionnaire, with one of the biggest egos in the sector!
As Warren Buffet says....invest in poeple....does anyone doubt
that Sorrell is going to make this a major player....I remember
people saying ASOS was over valued in the early days...
The reason to invest here is for the potential....the vision
the Maverick at the helm.....it will succeed ! IMHO!!!!!
GLA !
WPP - it was £1. I bet lots of derampers turned up and said oh looks its over valued , balls. now look at it.
the derampers here dont pick anything good about Sorrell, Medimonks or the WPP is a billion $ company
just keep posting same drivel over and over again, if your not invested do one,
From the tunes article “ The UK Listing Authority is understood to have initially blocked the relisting of Derriston Capital — whose shares were suspended in May when the reverse takeover was announced — because of concerns that there would be a false market. This is because the share capital of Derriston will represent less than 1 per cent of the enlarged group once a reverse takeover by Sir Martin’s S4 Capital is completed
Still believe this is way over valued on current price never mind people spouting 25p, 40p 50p etc.
So do long term holders selling out on the increase on friday
will be 255million, not bloody billions - thats just a pointless comparison.
How many shares would s4 capital have after merge???is it 255 million or 2.5 billion...???? If the Acquisition completes, shareholders of S4 Limited will receive 241,285,077 new ordinary shares in Derriston (the equivalent of 2,412,850,770 existing ordinary shares). The number of consideration shares was calculated from a see-through Derriston placing price of 10p per existing ordinary Derriston share.
Tell me what is in this deal for derr shareholders. Looks like the bod have been done!
But the deal is at 10p ( 241 million shares )to be issued ..Tell us what to expect ...
Correction I meant over the ASK!!
Recovering well now!!
GLA!
Funny when derampers quoteSorrells age...how old do they
think Warren Buffet is ??? LOL!
