Excellent!!! Keeps DDD quiet and a chance to toppy uppy.
Well that's ruined it. I was looking at this about 6 weeks ago and decided it had more to drop. Too many people watching it now.
RNS from last year, posted to highlight that the Samsung deal runs through the end of 2015, if Amazon sets market on fire with its glasses free 3D smartphone, expect Samsung to scramble to market with a better version....see below: "DDD has renewed its licence agreement with Samsung Electronics to include DDD's TriDef 2D to 3D technologies with Samsung's 3D video processing chips. The agreement has been extended until the end of 2015, an additional two and a half years."
Hi closetrader, I posted this yesterday re Amazon Glasses Free Smartphone: Amazon is to unveil in June 2014 a 3D Glasses Free Smartphone (on sale Sept), this will really grab investors attention, guess which company is very well positioned to benefit (TriDef Mobile Demand surely will explode) See attached: http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-communications/mobile-phones/amazon-phone-release-pegged-for-september-glasses-free-3d-display-in-tow-1241979
I haven't been following this share but wondered if this is of interest from today's Business Section under 'Amazon dials up 3D phone': ....'Internet retailing giant Amazon is planning to release its own smartphone before the end of the summer, according to reports in America..........the new screen is expected to feature a screen that will show some images in 3D, without the used having to wear 3D glasses.....mass production of the new gadget is expected to start later this month with an initial order of about 600000 units....and will start selling in September.....'
Hope I can top up... Have 300k shares, need at least another 100k... hope earnings RNS brings volume, brings liquidity... do not want to see a repeat of Friday's rationing of BUY orders....
69 views on this now that's an increase of more than 50% in total views since I posted it earlier today. Hmmm!!!
Just a few hours and we can draw a line in sand.....closely followed by lift off 5p....6p....7p.... Really don't see why we don't go straight to 20m market cap.... Still ridiculously cheap... That would equate to 17p...., hence not sure why we are even talking single digits..
Marsh that had 43 views when I found it it now has around 58.
One thing I have always found interesting or indeed wanted to know is a falling / rising share price and how it makes a CEO feel when he sees his share price. DDD has declined massively over the last 12 months but have a watch of this interview and if you don't have 7 minutes to watch it right now please watch the last minute from around 6m 15secs and see his face when he talks about having a MC of £25m and how his share price went up that day. http://youtu.be/YzokiLWc-Pk I'm starting to like this guy.
Thanks for that, great find. Chris really emphasises the benefits DDD are getting from the Chinese manufacturers and I am impressed how his straight talking sincerity comes across on camera He is a very good front man for DDD. At 13:00 today the video had registered 53 views. I'll be interested to see how many more it gets after being posted here.
great informative posts thankyou ship
His nickname should be Messi Hans was appointed a non-executive director of DDD in January 2006. Hans is the Chairman of Truemove, a mobile telephone operator based in Thailand. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of Health Limited and The Integrated Health Consultancy Ltd. Hans was the founder and Chief Executive of Orange and served on the board of the main holding company and two of its subsidiaries. He articulated the vision of a ‘wire free future’ which has driven the branding, strategy and operation of Orange. Under Hans’ leadership, Orange launched on 28 April 1994 and had a profound impact on the mobile market in both the UK and globally. In March 1996, Orange listed on the London and NASDAQ exchanges and, in June of that year, became the youngest company to enter the FTSE 100. After a series of acquisitions, Hans continued as Chief Executive of the enlarged Orange group, leading it to a subsequent flotation in February 2001, at which point he became Special Adviser to the group, a role from which he stepped down at the end of 2001. From 2002 until July 2005, Hans was non-executive Chairman of Carphone Warehouse Group plc. From May 2005 to February 2007, Hans was non-executive Chairman of MonsterMob Group plc.
My pet ha ha SAV is family mate and till death do us part. The SAV story is only just beginning and offers another bargain entry. DDD has my attention and needs researching a little more in depth as it has a lot going for it. So I now have DDD with a totally new investment arena for me and SAV and it's Copper asset which again is a new one for me so it's all looking pretty exciting. Let's see what the week brings here and see how this moves next week. Think it might get a bit busy here next week.
...... Aye ..... this could be next week's big winner, MM's keeping a big spread to build their war chest. Restricted to small amounts at the right price (limit buys) so expenses make some buys unviable, but with more volume and liquidity there will be opportunities under 5p with a year target of 20p. minimum. ........ hope you haven't abandoned your pet (SAV) ...... I am now up to 60% of my mining portfolio and nearer to 2% of company, so balls deep with our friend DA.
Good to hear it mate. When I first looked at this I was so surprised how good it looked I just kept on pumping cash into researched a little more and had to buy more. At the bell on Friday I had to laugh at myself as I only intended on buying £2.5k and I had somehow nearly trebled that through the day. Having had time to digest DDD properly I now realise I should of had a few more into as I know this is now popping into a few peoples windows now as it clearly has gone unnoticed for to long. Hopefully I have called the bottom in this and once people realise what is on offer here and if the MM's are caught with their pants down then this could seriously shift back to it's rightful fair value price which IMO is not single digits and more like minimum mid teens. DDD has so much more to come and with the big boys all over it and as mentioned tonight the management team has some big hitters involved this will succeed big style. Hopefully results Monday followed by some chunky directors buys. The directors here will be loading up that is a fact you just have to check recent RNS's to see they will be buying.
Hi Wayne, ...... yes suits my style, been building a stake in this for a while, makes a change from the Mining stocks. Take a look at Bob Morton's history of investments ...... he rarely gets it wrong and those that bomb he takes a parachute jump early to offset any losses. I am in the process of building a similar portfolio on a smaller scale, but limited to quoted companies only. It is risky but "he who dares wins" and I am a big winner in the past 20 years and now taking advantage of ISA's, SIPP's and any other incentive the Chancellor throws me. DDD is jus starting to wake up and I will continue building on weakness until I have a small % of the company.
Good evening Sir hope you are well? Are you liking a bit of DDD mate? It's looking tasty isn't it?
SPPC.L on AIM ...... very little released until 31st March 2014 Final Results are published in July.
I am a disciple of the great man, based in Jersey. Take a look at the final results (31st March 2013) of his investment company "St Peter Port Capital Ltd" and note the investments he has been involved with in the past 15 years. He is very adept at turning round loss making, undercapitalised small cap AIM companies and like myself favours and is heavily invested in the Mining Sector. He also has placements in unquoted companies that are ready to make their debut on the junior exchanges once they have a good financial platform. Worth a read: http://www.iii.co.uk/markets/?type=aimnews&articleid=9038705&action=article Another large holder of DDD stock is Nigel Wray (joint founder of Betfair) who likes a challenge and relishes a gamble, a bit like like myself. This is an ideal company to get in on the ground floor, at the forefront of 3D & Hologram technology.
many of you may know of Hans Snook, founder of Orange Telecom and one richest guys in UK, you will also be aware that Hans is Chairman of DDD and you will see from below that he holds over 4M shares of DDD: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/people/person.asp?personId=1200696&ticker=DDD:LN&previousCapId=96081&previousTitle=NIC%20INC
