Good things come to those who wait. I wonder if DCTA have thought about tent manufacturers?
Nice statement re US patents. We can hope apparel orders will follow a bit sooner than those of or Versarien!.
Hopefully not too far off , this is getting ridiculous!
Would addition of graphene not only improve the strength and durability of road surfaces but also help avoid them melting in very hot conditions??
I agree cad , that road surface will be very big imo. Not to mention the batteries. All coming to fruition along with grafysorber.
Of grafysorber was directa plus only product it would be great but it isn't which is even better.
Yes, this looks a fantastic product, "adsorbing more than 100 times its own weight of oil-based pollutants" - and you get the oil back! Cheaper than drilling I would guess :)
And it's getting traction. Looks like the North Sea testing has been passed with flying colours, now it's gone to "certain agreed territories". "international oil producing regions with the North Sea being the first". So they've seen it, and they like it. I know nothing of the process or logistics, or capacity, but I would guess supplying the North Sea area would be all they could cope with for the time being anyway. So it's moving forward fast!
And bbluesky, that's quite a figure!!
I'm also interested in "the reduced amount of plastic used in Grafysorber® booms and pillows". I wonder if they enhancing said booms and pillows with graphene? End result stronger, lighter. ...Or just a new design. Anyway, all good.
Cenkos: "oil industry spending an estimated $148.16bn on oil spill remediation in 2019"!!
What a great little company this is.

ommercial Agreement with REDA Energy Ltd to Distribute Grafysorber Products
Directa Plus (AIM: DCTA), a leading producer and supplier of graphene nanoplatelet based products for use in consumer and industrial markets, announces that it has signed a Commercial Agreement ("the Agreement") with REDA Energy Ltd ("REDA") to distribute Grafysorber® oil response products in certain agreed territories. REDA, a division of the REDA Group, is a leading Tier 1 chemical manufacturer and supplier of products and services to global oil and gas sector.
The Commercial Agreement follows successful testing of the products by REDA customers in the North Sea. These customers particularly appreciated the lightness and simplicity in handling, the effectiveness of absorption, and the reduced amount of plastic used in Grafysorber® booms and pillows. As a result of feedback from REDA Energy, Directa Plus has been able to further improve its oil spill response products, enhancing their ease of use and performance.
The first order from REDA for Grafysorber® products predates the Agreement and was delivered in June 2022 and comprised thousands of pillows and barriers. REDA will place a second similar order to build a minimum safety stock of products to cover northern Europe and will commence the distribution of Grafysorber® products to REDA customers.
Directa Plus's patented Grafysorber® technology is a graphene-based solution for treating water sludges and emulsions containing hydrocarbons and is at least five times more effective than current technologies - adsorbing more than 100 times its own weight of oil-based pollutants. In addition, Grafysorber® is sustainably produced, non-flammable and reusable, with the adsorbed hydrocarbons recoverable.
Commenting, Giulio Cesareo, Founder and CEO of Directa Plus, said: "Our environmental strategy is to offer our partners products designed to help their customers to achieve their sustainability targets more easily, more cheaply and faster. The Agreement with REDA represents an important milestone in the commercialisation of Grafysorber® products in international oil producing regions with the North Sea being the first. REDA brings added value capabilities to this key vertical for Directa Plus, accelerating the development and growth of our products and services."
& yet another patent granted.
Great company with patents aplenty in a world changing sphere &, most importantly, earning.
hares in Directa Plus were up 10% at 106.88 pence on Friday morning in London.
The graphene-based product supplier said that revenue from the start of the year to the end of May was approximately 44% ahead of the same period the previous year at EUR4.6 million.
Directa Plus said this was driven by growth in all its commercial verticals, with sales in line with expectations.
The company said it continues to work to mitigate inflationary pressures on costs while maintaining increased investment in operations.
Nonetheless, the firm said it remains optimistic in its ability to secure an environmental remediation services contract which it has tendered via its subsidiary, Setcar.
It explained that the contract is "significantly larger" than anything it has secured to-date.
Rns to read first thing in the morning:-)
With news of possibly a major new contract to be announced this quarter, I feel for people who need to sell at this level. I would say the drop is way overdone and unjustified. I suspect a few may be kicking themselves come Christmas. With so much other stuff in the background, this is a screaming buy if ever I saw one.
Naff off you fool beech not. Not even 1 trade today , this is so far under the radar. Remember the positive news is perhaps due Q3 re a huge contract. Hold tight and listen to the drip at your peril , ask yourself why he or she is the only person ever to diss this company. g
Drip .....Drip .Dropping as more minimize risk .
Does seem a bit over done here, strange
So many continue 2 exit .
Strong performance in Environmental division expected to continue. The final decision on the award of a significant tender in process is expected in the summer of 2022 leading to the potential for significant revenue contribution in H2/22. The size of the award is multiples of anything yet won to-date; however, there remains uncertainty over the start date, the allocation to Setcar, and the revenues that can therefore be recognised in FY22. Whilst there are no alternative solutions that can provide oil remediation efficiency comparable to Grafysorber, in the absence of visibility, we have decided not to include the potential for this award in our expectations, noting that the award would likely be transformational for the company.
? We continue to view Directa Plus as a unique opportunity in the environmental and graphene materials space as it is commercially proven, high growth and fully funded. The demand for graphene is supported by a strong market outlook with expectations for it to more than double in value over the next three years reaching more than $2bn in 2024, according to Future markets 2021. Directa Plus has a proven production technology, downstream application IP and a growing list of solid commercial products and partners, and is well positioned to win a substantial market share and enable significant value creation over the next few years.
? Significant room for upgrades: Our valuation of 280p leaves significant room for upgrades as and when the environmental division contract award is announced, but also strong traction in other verticals and geographies, including the expansion of the Environmental division into Northern Europe and the USA.
Compared to Versarien they look well ahead of the game.
It doesn't look like there is much downside from those finals , feels more like a coiled spring to me. Patience is key.
All sounds reasonably good and relatively promising future opportunities
