Or maybe just £6.20!
What a sham!!!!
Software companies can go up 10 x even 100 x
But takes time for Cyber firms to get clients and I remember hearing speech by Bill Gates 1991 since then maybe 10000 X
Volume of shares was 5 million shares yesterday and RSI on high end
I will certainly hold some Dark shares for 23 pounds but sadly we might be taken over for 12 to 15 pound
Agree with both points 👍👍
HKK
The only issue is Dark are on the FTSE - UK Stock exchange and tech market just doesn't work.
They seem to like the more traditional stocks like Oil and Mining.
HKK I’m not sure that using current metrics to compare valuations with competitive companies is all that informative if you don’t take the respective growth rates into account. Even small difference in grow rates, when compounded into the future, make a big difference. And the growth rates of DT and CRWD and S. are different.
Most brokers will be taking a view on where these growth rates are going, and using DCF analysis to come to a valuation. it is of no surprise that there is a large spread in these valuations. I would put more credence on the average broker values you gave, than using comparison of current AAR numbers.
Personally I think the valuations of CRWD and the like are in bubble territory.
“I know I am right
We use AI to find undervalued shares”
Hahaha I would rather use Charles
Also if Darktrace is bid for how much someone is willing to pay,
In any event significant upside here
The question is are Crowd overpriced & S1 right priced or somewhere in the middle?
Either way its an upside of 50% to 360%
Sentinel One is similar ARR at $724M vs Dark $731M
They are 9.25x ARR
So easily Dark is 50% off its lowest US competitor
Bringing SP to 773
I know I am right
We use AI to find undervalued shares
Typo that should be 6x which makes it 2394 which makes you RIGHT!
Crowd is trading at 28x ARR
Dark is trading at 14x
Taking just that metric ignoring profit and noting Dark has 41% of the customers of Crowd
Like for like the SP should be 1026
Ahananda …. I sold DT many months ago and ploughed the money into RR when it was under £1. If that makes me a muppet then I’ll definitely be more muppet from now on. I may well buy DT again as I think they are a great company… but when I made my decision to sell, I thought RR was a better company and looking at my current holding in comparison to what I would have had if I’d have kept Dark I was right!
Crowdstrike mkt Cap $73 billion
Darktrace mkt Cap $4.6 billion
That makes Darktrace worth £23 all day long
I think £23 is too high but from a comparison a valid comment
I did a comparison to loads of other SaaS companies a while back showing ARR to valuation multipliers and back then Dark was 700-1100 low end with a realistic 1200 fair value (by comparison). Revenue is stronger now so I need to redo that. Would love 2300 but feel 700 is about right for current performance but forward looking or buyout it certainly must be in the 1000-1500 range.
What kind of muppet would be selling a great company a the beginning of a rerate?
I would guess the shorts have infected these boards and are trying to get you to sell
They are terrified because there is 400% plus upside on the table.
Furthermore at this low valuation it is a strong bid target
Not sure why these punters keep telling us what they have done with their punts
Just by comparing the valuation with Crowdstrikes bring you to a £23 a share valuation.
I am continuin to accumulate
