Darktrace are the only Cyber Security company on this list of top AI Microsoft Partners.

You should really look at the reasons why they spend so much and not why Darktrace spends leaas.
The products being sold by the competition requires and huge amount of R&D to gather data/meta-data for their products to be programmed to find known threats.
Darktrace doesn't have this issue, the R&D spend is therefore lower.
If that's a genuine question, in the Cyber Security arena there are generally Teams know as Red, Blue and Purple.
Red is attack focused (Pen Testing)
Blue is defence focused
Purple is a combination Team comprised of Red and Blue assets.
AI-Investor - This just shows you have a lack of knowledge and understanding of Darktrace Platform and probably Cyber Security as a whole.
Nothing sells itself, everything requires advertising and sales people, technical expertise, R&D etc - or mayber the current 8800 clients are wrong and should bow to your knowledge.
Sales and Marketing, by its very name includes the compensation paid to Sales Teams. Its not just Marketing spend.
If you don't pay Sales staff, they don't sell and leave.
How do you suggest that the budget to compensate is reduced when the company is trying to expand its revenues ?
Well, Clarking that just makes you come across as arrogant, narcissistic, ranthoneous and just plain old stupid.
Assumptions about peoples knowledge are generally wrong, you excel in proving this point.
Simple wording in the RNS.
Look for the "up to 35 million shares" and "up to a max of £75 Million"
They never stated they would buy the full amount, or spend the full amount.
You also mention we havn't seen £3.90 since Nov 22 yet strangely the graph on the shares over the last 12 months clearly show peaks of over £3.90 on multiple occasions.
How many mistakes are there in your statement below compared to the RNS on share buyback from Feb 23.
Is that intentional or just through lack of understanding.
Now let’s look at the value of the maximum £75m allocated. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out that they never went near the £75m and if they had they would have had to pay £3.90 for those 19,233,453 they did buy. We haven’t seen £3.90 since Nov 22.
So, in 2023 so far, Darktrace have release E2E, new version of EMAIL Detect/Respond, HEAL and most recently AI based detection on the cloud infrastructure.
I guess that R&D team need to pull there fingers out eh.
