Sentiment should keep this ticking along quite nicely til the next trading update
Sain aka Captain Obvious you should get into Politics...I tried to keep a straight face while reading this post. How wonderful you are at deramping when the share price slides and how good you are at observing that it will keep ticking along quite nicely until next trading update.
No doubt you have read reports about property market values increasing up to 4% outside London through 2020 and also a large increase of sales volume due to last weeks election.
All playing very well for the slow recovery of this troubled stock...we are not out the woods but a recovery is certainly underway and possible now.

Well, nothing wrong with a bit of "obvious" and happy to have bought in at opening bell on Friday. The trading update might dampen things down a bit , mind .
Great timing again by The BODS in selling LSH for peanuts just before Election .Absolutely hopeless
Just think where CWD would be today if the BODS had just sat on their hands 5 years ago and let the businesses just get on with wwhat they do best without any tinkering
I have always read your posts carefully and considered them well researched. I have a much more simplistic view - I believe in the recovery of the residential housing sector, which has been stifled in recent years by the gridlock of Brexit. Therefore my view is quite simple , when the resi market (outside of London) starts to perform this share stands a great chance at recovery - I hope its not too late - and yes still lots of risk. Happy to hear you are now a shareholder - looks like you are topping up on your existing CWD holding - which gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to have you on-board! I guess the sale of LSH was them hedging against political uncertainty...tough decision to make...lets see how 2020 goes. Merry Christmas and look forward to reading your future posts.
Suspect the sale of LSH was forced upon them by the banks as part and parcel of their new financial arrangements and hence the lowball deal . The price achieved less than the capital expended on the various add ons to LSH over the last 5 years
The Brexit effect will take sometime to filter through as the next few months are a quiet period in any event for the industry
however already some safe haven money landing in the market now some sort of certainty has arisen
Happy to remain invested for time being ! Feel a lot more happier if there was a decent set of BODS
I expect the H2 trading to be better than H1...seasonally more transactions in the summer which get accounted for in H2...any sort of efforts to reduce costs and improve EBITDA for H2 will be received well.
The next formal update to the market will be in early March for our Preliminary Full Year Results.
They may put out a pre-close statement at the end of January/Early February 20202 but have not always done so
