They have published zero data on confirmed sales since the app was finished in early summer. During a global pandemic which their app is built around.
Come on...surely some scepticism is warranted.
The recent rise the past week, from 2.2p, was on the back of a possible U.K. government contract for the new test & trace campaign they have just launched.
I don’t necessarily believe it was a pump and dump, there was a genuine reason for the rise.
Unfortunately the government signed a contract with Innova, we have no involvement. Therefore expecting a re-trace back to the level we were pre the rise based on a U.K. government contract, 2.2p, why won’t it re-trace. Common sense tells us it most likely will
...the mostly cr8p on this bb
Placing this placing that, not going anywhere blah blah blah
DYOR
I think the tie up with BAM is to show both aspects, so whether you have it and/or if you've had it. That way, the information can be recorded on the blockchain.
As the virus is highly contagious, it's all about retesting, so maybe that's the aim (excuse the pun).

Competitor of CTEA in trouble for misleading public. these apps can only show you didnt have it when tested.
Bigbaddaz is right. Very suspicious about this recent rise. Looked like one of the many pump and dump's this share has had, however with yesterday's puff-piece of an empty RNS and talk of a placing, it looks even more suspicious. Not casting aspersions on CTEA but the rise was based on nothing at all, and it was sustained with some odd share trade patterns, then the RNS appeared which had no depth to it either. Draw your own conclusions. I would be expecting a placement and then this share to slowly sink back to where it was.
Good morning Stuarthone, the Government have signed a contract with Innova, unfortunately nothing to do with CTEA.
Also, I can not believe the naive posts praising yesterday’s Afrik-ID update. Our products have been on trial for 4 months and If we read back through the RNS’s CTEA were expecting to negotiate commercial terms after this period. The trial has finished and all that has come from it is a MOU ..... ... this is not a legally binding contract. In other words, four months on and no immediate need for our product.
I am not saying CTEA will not do well longer term, but short term this is not looking good.
Government 10m a day mass testing will take months to reach those kind of numbers imo, therefore Innova only company getting involved short term.
Would be surprised if they place this low, they had £1m in the bank, should be more than enough till Q1 2021,expect big news and 10p+ before then.
Promising product, this, but I'll wait for the inevitable funding, or simply miss the boat. Such is life on AIM.
Does anyone happen to know if we are involved in this trial? It would be great if we were!
The article in the lancet is free to read. Just google "lancet immunity passports" LSE won't let me post the link.
Interesting article in The Lancet strongly supporting the use of immunity passports. It strikes me that Catenae are in the right place at exactly the right time, with a tried and tested Covid Passport app. The public and private sectors are about to start spending tens of billions on testing their way out of this mess. They're all going to need some scalable way of recording those results. If Catenae can get even 0.01% of that business, the share price should sky rocket.

The MoU provides Afrik-ID with a framework to access to BHA-Medical's Covid-19 Near-Patient Healgen Antigen and the Three-Antibody test kits, as well as its professional clinical consultancy service to enable the tests to be conducted safely and successfully. Catenae's associated GDPR-compliant blockchain-based identity technology, including its data management platform and Onsite ID mobile app, could also be supplied to process the results.
The services would be rolled out via Afrik-ID's network across sectors including construction, logistics, mining, sports, healthcare, human rights services, law-enforcement and travel and tourism. Its solutions would enable organisations, businesses and individuals to share certification and identity information via mobile phones in a secure manner.
A good few large buys coming into day aswell soo some really good support coming in
I agree. RNSs are converging. The story increasingly clear. Wait for it.
I believe they don't want to release everything in a oner then massive spike and hits the deck again they are looking to build from here omho
by my reckoning the target market of the SADC covers in the region of 285 million people
It's all very well having trials and mou,s ...don't forget Afri..trial began 3rd july and was supposed to be for 4 months ..with some sort of commercial agreement at the end....we now have an extension of trials and mou,s . All sounds good but the companies is running on fumes..warrants conversions ...and at some point unless revenue ig generated soon guess what they will be asking for the usual handouts from shareholders.where are the other sales leads and conversions.we were told in that now famous podcast that there were multiple enquiries and leads and that was several months ago now. To have only one rns for on company that we already new about is not great. Just my opinion.
This is a nice rise considering we opened 6% down. Think they are playing this well building momentum slowly so sp holds this time and doesn't hit the deck again I for one is alot more confident in this now

This gives you the scope of people who are working on the Afrik ID project - a former US Ambassador and High court judge who are "very well networked"
Also on this link: https://ourworldindata.org/coronavirus-testing
if you scroll down to How Many Tests are Performed Each Day - you can see that Africa are hardly testing at the moment yet cases are rising rapidly. They clearly need a solution to track and trace and ultimately stop the upward trend in cases. Great place to get involved in.
feels more positive with some newsflow - feels like momentum is building towards all important contracts
