This is really not going to happen no money for anyone coming here not a chance
For the record - I’ve not been offended by anything you’ve said in your last few posts AIM4 - we just have a difference of opinion re our beliefs or lack thereof, of ctag’s recent updates. We’ll see that state of play within 2 weeks time anyhow.
Thanks for your input Martin - calm & precise with your points as usual.
Apologies for the obvious offence you have taken pikey, although I wasn’t telling anyone what they were allowed to do - just saying what prompts me to post in response to a question from Soyo. As spikey says, my intention is not to rile shareholders, the conduct of Amit and the company (as I see it) motivates me. Others have a different view - all part of a discussion board.
Lol, nobody tells me how bullish I'm allowed to be you pompous prick, (and you can stick these where the sun don't shine) 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
If there were a few more holders that were prepared to give the over bullish assertions of Helx and a few others a bit more of a challenge now and again I could perhaps follow without ending up putting in my twopennorth Soyo.
I am not making fun of the vast majority of CTAG investors ( - with an honourable exception for a very, very few who have been persistently rude and belligerent, and deserve whatever they get, frankly - ).
but i am deeply, deeply scathing *about amit* & *about cloudtag* and v happy to mock both.
it’s a shame that some folks, apparently such as yourself, don’t seem able to distinguish between comments about a company and its CEO, versus comments about people who own shares in that company. unfortunately, that tends to happen when people get too emotionally involved with their shares, especially when those shares lose money.
… criticism of amit [not equal to] criticism of ordinary pis with cloudtag shares.
[complicating factor, of course, is some people who post on social media pretending to be ordinary pis owning cloudtag shares are nothing of the sort, imv, & are posting as shills.]
"It's mainly just a bit of fun"
Making fun of investors who have been completely put through the mill the last 7 years?
From the perspective of one of who has no position, it’s mainly just a bit of fun, like gogglebox. (i appreciate it probably feels a bit different for folks who have money at stake here.)
I don't get this, why post when you have NO SHARES? We are now into the 4th week essentially, and no one (NO ONE) has had any communication. No, I am not Martin Terry! Just one frustrated holder like many others!
I hold no shares having sold prior to delisting as I have posted before (a smallish profit overall having got to a free ride after a bit of trading and top slicing since originally buying in 2016). I have followed the fortunes since, it’s a very interesting situation - whichever way it turns out.
Agreed property deals can sometimes be protracted - I have a sale of one of my HMOs agreed on 1st February for quick completion subject to the existing tenancy. This ended up in the long grass for various reasons, I have just revived it for exchange in April and completion (vacant) in July (which will be 17 months) The buyer is a PITA to put it bluntly, but I can see his position and logic in relation to some issues and it suits me to go along. I’ve done other sales in 8 weeks and some drag out to four of five months.
Still comes down to whether the deal is genuine or not.
My friend’s first house purchase took circa 18months to complete due to the seller’s lack of coordination & record keeping. he kept the faith & finally was able to obtain the property in spite of all the excuses & delays.
Who knows exactly why this has protracted for so long - we only have Ctag’s corporate updates to go on as everything else is locked away behind a strict NDA. If this licensing deal comes in then everything is on. Do you hold many shares here AIM4?
Of course inflation is significant for such a deal (as are exchange rate fluctuations and the potential need for hedging to protect the end value for shareholders receiving dividends in GBP). I would have expected it to be a given to have a contract term in place pegged to an agreed inflation measure. Savvy Sole Traders have often got that covered for tardy payers, such as BoEBR +?% after 14 days.
Are we supposed to think the ongoing delay in the main event is because the buyer isn’t in a position to want to ‘announce’ (ie go through with the purchase) of the DaaP, or because Amit can’t get enough extra cash?
I suppose if you take the outcome of a payout as a given, then working back from that needs continual explanation of delays and anomalies, but working forwards they don’t seem plausible (to me).
Would anyone continue having faith in this type of a situation in a different context, such as an ongoing transaction in your own business or the sale of a property?
If the execution of the daap sale deal has dragged on because of the purchasing party’s delay then the selling party are well within their rights (providing the terms of the initial agreement permit) to request an additional sum to compensate for inflation. I’ve been privy to deals in conversation for a long time where at the last minute a higher number is put on the table by the seller - either for inflation (ethical) or just because they can (less ethical but legal).
If the buying party has already been using amit’s tech for the last couple of years to establish their platform then they will be obliged to buy his tech. Both parties just need to maintain open conversation & a sense of reasonableness to get it completed.
You don’t think there is even a remote possibility that the whole deal will be announced as under renegotiation? The DaaP sale has effectively been announced as being renegotiated (ie not actually locked down means there must be an ability for both sides to walk, you don’t need much business experience to see the likelihood of getting more money on a deal that is already legally binding as infinitesimally small).
Four outcomes, initial payout comes as expected in next 2 weeks, simple delay announcement, deal restructuring or silence.
Nice to remind ourselves that there’s:
1. A $50m licensing sale
2. A $225m+ daap sale
3. Holders will still own shares of whatever’s left - possible relist on the cards too!? 😅
Bad times for non-holders & those exposed - everything to gain genuine for holders 😉
Cindy888, miraculous ability to post whilst asleep and dreaming..
“under the new owner”
? what on earth are you on about? - even amit isn’t claiming that he’s sold the company.
So just to clear things up, share certificates will still be with Computershare (US) under the new owner. The roll numbers should be the same and kept on the transfer. If the transfer is happening, Guess the company add the number and Merry Christmas. IMO
Been quiet here for a few weeks... again, what would be the value in this being a lie?
I doubt ABH wants to make the target on his back even bigger. The quote from many moons ago "Value will be delivered to long-term shareholders"... I doubt anyone imagined it would be this long.
Like the level-headed ones on here, I will await news from my broker, failing that I will assume nothing is happening. Checking in with them every day is a waste of time.
Spoken to Barclays again this is not happening they have heard nothing
The truth will always win in the end.
I must admit i wish there was some way of making a legit bet with you. i would love taking the money off you. you will lose[ 100percent] because i am telling the truth.
Helx. seems that you and hubba think i am martin. how about a 5 grand bet. if your so sure how about it.
Austin. i find it interesting and takes a few minutes to post. by the way most my posts get taken down. so i keep posting because in general when negative posts get taken down the peeps who report have something to hide and just want bullish posts. it happens on all chat boards and the outcome in many cases is company gets suspended. so the bulls lose people loads of money.
