Yet again more buys than sells and yet again no sp movement ,thanks MMs
Well they playing games with us that's for sure but they can't keep this down for long with the buying pressure I hope.
In fact with that last large buy over 800k more buys than sells
John, despite 2 or 3 large sells its been all buys since the RNS and four ar five trading days before. The MMs Holding this back. I was concerned that today there would be more larger sells which tells me that the main shareholders are holding for better days ahead and a possible take over. This must rise tomorrow
More buys than sells(a lot) and friggin MMs increase the ask and drop the bid and no increase in sp,twa- s.
The Gas asset values will have held up well as we are on very profitable fixed contract terms with the buyers but the oil reserves will have been hammered. Its difficult to value the company without a more recent CPR which I am sure is underway as part of the Strategic Review. The financials show a large deficit between cash + recievables against debt so this will also depress the price. That said, I agree that 10p is a reasonable assumption. Although long term holders like me would still lose out, there is still plenty of opportunities to make up loses in this sector.
Concerns over share issue dilution and Egyptian oil payments. But overall the sell volumes are relatively low.
can not for the life of me understand why PIs are selling at this level.
10p would be brilliant but be honest I be happy with anything above 3.
Agreed, topped up yesterday as you did. Looking up last years asset value $196m with 565m shares in issue, value would be around 24p. So allows for a bit of oil asset write downs and legal issues (If any). A purchase price near 10p seems appropriate and cheap.
Bargain basement at these levels as if a buyer comes in we will be sold for far more than today's sp.
Or even: So what is different?
Or even: So what is different?
Yeah, it could have been £2.7 million. And if tomorrow could be difficult then I would ask: so what it different?
Of course it was. Not my best day on here ! I wrote the £ sign in error. Still I suppose it could have been a lot worse. Tomorrow could be a difficult day.
Elland, that was actually 2.7 million shares. The value was 'only' £55.84K. Still a substantial value but not £2.7 million, and one of them is an n/a - but almost certainly a sell.
But £2.7m in sells in 2 trades. Expect to see an RNS soon reflecting a major shareholder reduction in shares. That said John I also topped up again today. This could go either way in the short term and I still believe the company will be sold in full. We do not want to just sell Morocco which is our profit centre but I fear that it will attract some offers. Sound Energy perhaps ?

Well plenty of buyers here so I thought I would have a top up again, brought my average down a bit more so this drop may benefit me but guess I just have to wait on to now.
Sorry on Norwich and Peterbough it shows reiteration based on earlier 18p recommendation. I assumed the same. I therefore stand corrected.
Where do you see 16p? On their morning note on Proactive it says 10p.
Just announced at 18p. They are not in house brokers and specialise in O&G sector. Do they know something that we dont ? Is there a buyer already waiting in the wings ?
True, but at 13p a year ago the share price was already down from before. At the current 2p many have lost a considerable amount if not everything. At an average of 3p John can't really go wrong.
u can't compare the SP of a company over a year ago as in O&G sector so much has changed - things can get a lot worse u cud loose the lot :)
I would agree John. Although that's been said before.
