Hi all, i've been holding these shares for years now and finally things are looking up....Can someone please advise....Is it too late to transfer from HL to AJbell with the transfer looming? Do i need to settle for my shares to be held by HL (HSBC)? Any help is greatly appreciated.
A couple of nice delayed buys showing up from earlier in the 9’s, hopefully we travel in that direction!
HL will hold the shares for you after HK listing and you can sell them using its service. I am sure other decent brokers will do the same.
Assuming your current broker cannot trade the shares once they relist, several can by phone (ii, AJ Bell) there are many brokers able to trade HK shares. i am moving to Interactive Brokers as they have an online trading facility and that suits me better than phone trading. The key i understand is to start the transfer of the specific shares from your portfolio and get the SEDOL number. this will take around 3-4 weeks but once the move is complete you have complete flexibility and personally i am very bullish on CNEL as they are totally in the sweetspot for growth as pollution friendly Ethanol blended fuel etc is now being regulated globally and there is a massive lack of supply. Most countries will want their own capacity so CNEL have a huge order book for years ahead. That is set to balloon.
dyresearch ... incorrect.
Interactive Investor, for example, have confirmed that once the shares are moved over to HKEx they can still be held in the same ISA account and can still be traded online.
So where are CNEL relisting??
with AJ Bell they will transfer them over to HKEX and you can call up when you want to sell
When’s delist date or tba Cheers
dyresearch. you dont need to obtain share certicicates through HL if your a holder with them. they will just move the shares into a share and fund account but wont be able to trade online you just need to phone them to sell through their 3rd party broker being HSBC
So anyone buying now is either going to have to sell prior to delisting or accept physical certificates in the HK listed entity. Physical certs are extremely cumbersome to trade
I wonder if those buying now appreciate that this is the situation?
I bought a chunk months ago that I will let run through the relisting process. But I also bought a couple of weeks ago and I've sold today due to the issue with selling paper cert shares
Its such an easy buy, had a small top up myself .
wont be many selling either ... i just got offered 8.75p to sell - whats with the massive spread ?
Moving up now, most are long term investors here so won't be many share available for new entries
Hit the bottom now. Hopefully my will let this go
Looks very strong now.soon 10p+
