I sold half my shares at 62 and half at 64.2 I’ve made substantial profit. Will only buy back under 60p gla
This is ticking away nicely now. We are looking very strong going into winter now.
Looks like breakout here if it doesn't magically fall to pieces.
and 320p less than 8 years ago and higher before that.

''BARCLAYS PRICE TARGET 112P for CNA''
Centrica was close to 170p just 4 years ago - a very long way to go.
by the way in case u missed, BARCLAYS PRICE TARGET 112P for CNA
yes sir !
New support level formed at 61p, should see 65p by Friday
Not a company to invest in heavily but if you put a bit here and a bit there at low price not much to lose and might get a divi better than cash in the building society that is a pain in the neck with inflation in living costs! If they don’t pay a divi I think Centrica should find a buyer or be nationalised and it will be one or the other because shareholders will have had enough!
Aspers
To say CNA is a dog of a share is a bit of an understatement, when I look at my portfolio it makes my blood boil, but at my age one has to be careful, so I don’t look that often. My son always wanted a dog as a kid, he never got one, I can’t stand them, however he will just have to make do with inheriting one - Haha
And back with a nice profit
And v be ack in with a nice profit
Cocsure.......FFS .nothing like stating the obvious about buying at the bottom and selling at the top !! I thought I was buying at the bottom when I bought at 140 not expecting it to touch 29p a couple of years later!
As I said before I eventually cut my loses at 45p and dumped this dog for good. A difficult move at the time but now recovered most of my loses elsewhere which is something I would not of done if I had hung around here.
Forecasters also predicting a 12 month Rolling Forecast Dividend Yield of 4.9%, if all go's to plan this will be the catalyst to some major re valuation, Big IF I know but for me now is the time to buy
12 month Rolling forecast PE, EPS just to be clear
PE 9.5.......EPS Growth 29.8%.........ROCE 7.7%.........Health Trend 8 out of 10........2021 Forecast Revenue 17,096m and 197mPBT.......Forecast 22 PBT 398m.......
A good investor buys at the bottom and not at the top, my humble view is that the bottom is 45p and the growth prospects from here with a more focused business model and reduced cost base and Aprils OFGEM price cap increase and more customers means 140p in next few years, lets review in 3 years time who was right.....enough said, good to have a two sided debate professionally...
Poor.................wish I had sold at 140 and not 45. This hs to be one of the worst shares in the FTSE right now. A top company run by muppets. Investors beware you have every chance of losing your shirt if you stay here much longer.
if we get another ice age next week it wont make a jot to centrica this company needed a big shake up years ago never happened ive seen aims shares performing better than this!
wish id'd sold out at £4
Temperatures across western Europe are set to fall to below average levels next week: Maxar
Cocsure..............you can always dream but I think you are living in cloud cuckoo land.
At these levels the very least the company should have been doing is buying back shares.....they have not spent a penny! As for a divi it will be a ling time before you see that again.
I really cannot see why so many folk are wasting their time in here when there are so many great bargains to be had elsewhere.....even divi paying bargains too.
I took a £180K hit here when I sold out 18 months ago.....if I had stuck with it I may have recovered 25% by now. By reinvesting what I pulled out I am now 127% up on that. As I say there are bargains and there are dogs......this sadly proved to be the later for me!
Good luck, I think you may need it.
'Ofgem boss expects "significant" rise for price cap in April'
All the signs are good, I'm looking at 75p by end of 2022. 200 av at end of 2020 was at 41p we are looking at 55p by end of this year, easily 75p by end of 2022 if not more, Value and Quality all up significantly in 2021, Aprils reviews coming should increase the value considerably also.
The question is ! Will it stay over 60p
nice to see this rising against a sea of red today
