Fairly typical MM response to mark down 20%.
Always seems an overreaction to me…..Proleukin always seemed a big bet and not one that is easy to pull off. Have to hope erwinase does better from the outset.
CBB so close only to have hopes dashed again…
Well, a Proleukin update at last, albeit not the one we were hoping for. Business recovery tightly linked to Pandemic restrictions. Not gonna be a quick fix but I remain confident in Clinigen’s long term prospects
bounced off 860 today, with any luck we'll geet where i need it too in the next week
I think this is the study Iovance is doing with proleukin it is from the Moffat center that was referenced in the Clinigen update.

And last year they needed to get FDA approval on assays (metrics)

This implies a new biological application will be made in H1 2022. We await an update on refreshing Proleukin with the next investor presentation.
bounced off it a couple of times now, and then dropped 25(ish)p
just need it to push closer to 870
actually yeah, one of my "shouldn't have bought these i'm miles down" shares lol
.... but yeah, everything else was a mess, although Royal Mail was doing ok then took a big tree shake this morning but recovered, my concerns with this one is it takes a lot of slow steady gains to get anywhere, and then you get kicked in the teeth hard, which is why I don't think this is good for any substantial gains for a long tie.
Did you see many gainers yesterday?
sh.it show, took the best part of 2 months to scrape that far over 800, and then in one day 35 (ish) pence removed for sod all reason, that's the problem with this share, too volatile in one direction for no reason
i'm still in the red, and will likely be gone as soon as i'm not, for me any meaningful gain is likely a long time off, and I suspect we'll see more downs than ups before that happens.
I also look at the Iovance website from time to time....they have some news on their trials, but nothing that references aldesleuken which I think is the US name for proleukin.
I doubt we are going to get a trading update now until the mid JUly annual update ahead of the results in august/September.
After several buys At lower levels I am now just in profit. Having seen CVSG go from 5 to 20 in very little time I am loathe to sell at these levels, some news on Proleukin, good sales of Erwin are and the restart of trial activity should all boost the SP from here. If we get to £10 my confirmation bias will kick in a prevent me from selling...
"Some news on Proleukin would be welcome...."
yeah, the SP has been strong and making gains, but some news would solidify it for sure.
recovered ok from yesterdays whole market dip, which is encouraging as some others havent
Could be down to two recent deals with Amgen for a portfolio of drugs into Africa and Beigene into Europe. These are press releases, but don’t seem to have made it to RNS. Each of these managed access programmes extend the reach of clinigen as a distributor. Putting extra volume through the machine should create better margins.
Some news on Proleukin would be welcome....
Yep, and reasons to be cheerful.
that's a sizable chunk of change they have tied up in that 5%
The last few days has seen a lot of profit taking and yet the sp stands firm, which is encouraging We must surely be due Proleukin news soon?
Hi All, A new article on Clinigen added to my website - aims to analyse the recent half year report and take a deeper look at the financials. Available here: https://www.thetwentiestrader.com/post/clinigen-cash-not-clarity
You know what you have to do CBB.
Hold in hope of better (in which case buy more f you believe it is worth more)
Sell, take the loss on the chin and move on
Short the stock and try to win on the downward slide you think is coming.
....and found it's upper limit again, about £8 is it's max, just a question now of how far it falls, i've missed way too many opportunities while i have money tied up in this POS
More buys than sells, bigger numbers involved, and a steady uptick follows. It’s just maths. We have a nice base now so cmon Iovance
The chart is heading in the right direction and the liberum update must help.
Can see this rally heading to 850 but then significant news is needed.
Hard to believe this was over 1000 and under 500 within recent memory.
Advent interest was short lived and it was all pretty vague wasn’t it. Who knows though. Hopefully Iovance update soon and Synairgen partnership is getting interesting as their Phase 3 gets under way. Clinigen continues to generate a profit and pay us a dividend. Not many AIM listed businesses can say the same. Been a good week.
I wonder why the gains today.
I have looked to see if Lovance has announced anything, but can’t see anything. Maybe just more rumours circulating of advent returning....would not be surprising...
Maybe we will read something in the Sunday press or some RNS next week.
Yep - makes for a nice change.
Clin has had an excellent week gaining in a market that is down 5%.
Augers well for later this year.
A lengthy update with some positives and some caution. Overall seems to suggest a better second half and the market is sending the stock up.
Foscavir still no generic competition.
Proleukin neutral.
Reorganisation will probably hide some under performance in clinical trials but makes the business simpler.
Cash flow and debt seem to be as expected and debt should be falling in H2.
