am with you looking for good results on the 10th hopefully a 10% gain!
another good contract North Sea Dutch.the Preliminary Results on the 10th of march are bound to be good,I expect a strengthening of the SP.IMHO
i agree.also i dont like using someones misfortune for his gratification
This board is bored of your overpowering efforts to slate this stock. You have demonstrated in the past that you are a disgruntled ex employee. Just leave it at that and stop posting your B***cks
Don't think you can put AIM listed companies in an ISA!
With a name like that you must be a dons man haha, note as well that Cape also have the Witch farm in dorset contract and the southern north sea. Just wondering who lost the others, i believe salamis had the Andrew but i dont know about the rest. Most of this will have been priced in and the contract is over five years so the revenue will be spread over a long period.
Didn't expect the SP to continue to slide given the news today. I thought it would charge surge past the £2.55 mark with this news. Maybe once the market absorbs the information then we might see a small spike. Any opinions?
Yeah I heard something similar from my sources. I believe the Dimlington terminal is an addition to their portfolio as well as the 3 additional offshore platforms. Looks like they have actually added 4 assets but I believe the Miller is in decommisioning and will be ramping down this year. So possibly lost one to decommisioning and picked up 4. None the less a very strong singnal sent out from BP and the confidence they have in CAPE to make them the single contractor for all their North Sea fabric maintenence activities.
Cape have held a part of the Federal BP contract in Aberdeen for a long time I believe from my contacts there that there was never any fear of them losing this, and they will be very pleased to have picked up 3 new platforms. It is the flagship contract for the depot and tendering has been ongoing for a while. It's a big win for Welshie and Co, espiecially with other contracts up for grabs this year.
I can confirm this is 100% true. I work in oil in Aberdeen and have had it confirmed by someone at BP. This is official on RNS. 150million is a very conservative estimate for all offshore services on all assets over 5 years. My source told me it is nearer 200 million.
great news, wheredid you see it.whats the betting that someone comes on later and rubbishes your post
Are you a CAPE employee? Do you have a holding in this share and if so where do you see this going on the back of this news? I was in at the early days of 30p and got out just over the £1 mark. Thinking of getting a £5K holing in here for a short term gain. Opinions welcome.
Cape Awarded £150 Million 5 Year North Sea Contract with BP Cape plc, the international provider of essential, non-mechanical industrial services principally to the energy and mineral resources sectors, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a five year Federal Contract for the provision of Fabric Maintenance Support and Deck Operations at all of BP's nine UK North Sea assets, together with Onshore Maintenance at BP's Dimlington Gas Terminal, with a total estimated value over the period of £150 million. Cape currently provides these services to BP at six of its UK North Sea assets and this contract award therefore increases the existing scope by an additional three assets (Clair, ETAP and Andrew platforms) as well as the Dimlington Gas Terminal.
Cape plc, the international provider of essential, non-mechanical industrial services principally to the energy and mineral resources sectors, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded additional contracts with Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. valued at US$10m. Ship Support Services, a joint venture between Cape and Pyeroy, has signed a multi-million pound contract to provide access and specialist coatings services for the Royal Navy’s new generation of aircraft carriers. Cape will be providing multi user access services, whilst Pyeroy will undertake blasting, specialist containment and coatings application, to what will be the largest and most powerful warships ever to set sail for the Royal Navy. The contract has been awarded by BAE Systems Surface Ships Limited and will generate revenues for the Joint venture Company in excess of £100 million, in which both Cape and Pyeroy have an equal stake. Preparatory work has already started on the contract, which is expected to last nine years and will create and sustain hundreds of jobs at key naval yards throughout the United Kingdom. The integration of the vessels will take place at Rosyth in Scotland and significant dock modifications have been completed to accommodate both ships, with the first sections of ship one expected to arrive in August 2011. The first ship, HMS Queen Elizabeth is expected to enter service in 2016 with the second, HMS Prince of Wales, following in 2018.

"full year results to be at least in line with market expectations. Cash generation has also remained strong with net debt expected to have reduced by circa £50m over the full year to around £115m at the year end, approximately 9% ahead of market expectations"
