Cineworld on Trident Retail Park in Runcorn has remained closed despite other branches belonging
to the company reopening on July 31.
What a fantastic post.
Great find.
This CONFIRMS that Cineworld BoD have been aggressive in their negotiations with landlords and have driven down their rent even when they open.
I am even MORE OPTOMISTIC that we are going to see a BIG REDUCTION in the cash burn when the figures are announced in September, well AFTER the US is back up and running.
Love this quote:
Cineworld replied, he said, and told him the cinema was "not viable" due to the "rent requirements".
Cineworld have completed a financial assessment on profit and loss and have driven a hard negotiation with their landlords.
This is such a teaser when we get the next RNS that confirms negotiations with landlords has taken place.
Thank You Very Much RS2002.... You've been the leader of this forum when it came to holding
the ship from sinking when everyone was planning to jump in fear of drowning which then it
never happened and thank God like you and me we stood firm on our grounds as we were
going through major storms. I'm glad all this bad weather is beyond us and we can begin to
sail in calmer waters as we head for the shores and find our treasure island. Keep up the work. NOFEAR
The reason MPs supporting cinema is because in lockdown everyone wants to go out and cinema is the best entertainment around. Not long for us to see £1.5 to £2 per share.
Great post, thanks
Thanks for this Gents. Yeah I agree, we will be PLEASANTLY surprised with the cash burn here
