laidback - try and calm down.
johnht you are a nasty individual
I've made many blunders in my investments, it's nothing to be ashamed of and I think I've learned a huge amount from it and in the long run I have excellent money based on the experiences. We all invest with our own threshold and I just read some of the posts here and have noted that some investors have gone in above the pain thresholds.
I'll make a note to re-frame my posts with that in mind so that it comes across a little softer.
There is a lack of balance of the content being posted - it would be highly appreciated if folks could give a balanced view - e.g. the pandemic might be disappearing soon for some, but this is not the only view held in the US and UK, where the majority believe this will be an ongoing concern. No one wants an echo chamber as it doesn't serve anyone's interests.
Likewise, Guitar. Cheers.
This board can be a tinderbox purely down to the uninvested derampers that spam the board.
Investors do not mind bad news and worst case scenarios but it carries more weight when it comes from people who are actually already invested.
Added to that is the fact that most of the deramp posts come accross as vindictive, spiteful and celebratory of any loss.
That kinda gets people's backs up. You know, you've battled them youself enough in the past!
Caution and advice to the negative is welcome if presented properly.
Anyways, I keep saying I'm out of here until Xmas as I can't see much happening until then but I read this inbetween emails and actual work!!
Good luck to all true investors on any stock you own.
Love and kisses, Crumpets.
Fair enough then Gotitwrong,- I hold my hands up and sorry that I misread.
I'm also invested in NEX but only by a very small amount so read their boards as well where he's very active.
I'll put Guitarman back in. Please accept my apologies, Mr.G.
@crumpets I think you ave misread guitarmans post, he sold at a loss the same time as me, he then bought back in for more than he sold out at but sold at the same price again the next day so is still sitting on a big loss.
Guitarman, you say you 'traded out at buy-in price'.
This is copy and pasted from you recent post on the NEX board:
"I lost a LOT in CINE and I don't see any recovery in the short term. They seem to think vaccine & potential takeover bid (due to repealed law) will save them. Yes, cinema wont die... but you have to look at its viability as a business. Sitting on the sidelines. NEX is 100x the investment CINE is."
So did you lose a LOT or cash out at buy-in price? Make your mind up.
Unvelievable, Jeff.
It's clear as day you're a jilted lover and want to see us all burn for your loss.
Really sad end to to your input on here and now and makes you no better than the obsessed deramp squad.
On filter.
I like guys who have been invested and might look to get back in.
As long as they dont flip with extreme views compared to their current position.
I have some fairly big concerns of my own with Cine. I have just short of 100k invested in it and currently I am about 27% down. If I lost it all then that would be a bloody nose of which I will feel the sting for some time.
Nobody should pretend that Cine is a dead very and simple wait for the rise stock. It’s need a few things to go right for it. Mainly the timely release of films and the return of some normality to public behaviour.
The debts are also crazy and at some point they will have to be addressed.
However, for me, the current value of the share makes it a risk with taking. I would be a lot more comfortable if I was in at low 40’s rather than 50,s. ;-)
Any sort of takeover and this could be huge.
The difference is purchase Guitarman has been de-ramping the past week and you haven't. There is a difference. Exiting out isnt a problem, expressing concerns arent a problem but going round in circles on a negative spiral loop is a problem and stops adding value and gets on peoples nerves.
If you like trading, i.e exiting out and in and trying to score better deals elsewhere thats fine and thats you. Not everyone subscribes to the same methods as you and so it doesn't make your way the right way, some of us are here to ride the wave to profit regardless of if its up or down and this BB is designed for Cine investors, when people understand that the better.
Just because you don't like the line up you automatically assume it’s all bad, people like different things and as long as there is a steady flow of customers and the tills are ringing ... why is it all bad for 2-3 months!? You reckon you’ve bought back in... I doubt that!!
