Cheers Mr. T. Yeah, still in there. Though, tbh, did take some out to play the covid crash.
Lots of bargins to be had elsewhere whilst waiting for the ML.
Did V well here, NEX and DTG. x2 and x3 , though it will all go back there once the ML is sorted.
If I miss out out on the initial rise , so be it. Making money elsewhere more thean makes up for it.
I hope. :)
Not wishing to over ramp another stock here, but defo check out ORPH.
Did look at AA, tbh. Didn't push the button though. :)
Take care, Si.
Hey Si
Nice to see you pushing Infa on here, I sold out a few weeks back after getting impatient and got in here and AA. Both showing good profits, did dip my toe back into Infa again. Cine should head northwards again in the coming weeks once openings commence.
More to come here imo. Still not 50% of the sp pre lockdown.
Take care
Mr T
Seriously, look int ORPH, ask your brother about them. World specailist in the testing and research field. Especially in human challange study programs and it has Europe's only 24-bedroom quarantine clinic with onsite virology lab.
Very niche, but with lots going on.
As I said, please DYOR.
Regards, Si. :)
I know the money burning a hole in the pocket feeling. Was made redundant back in October and wanted to use the small payout from that to try to benefit. Hence buying these shares. Only started on the minimum while I gain some experience.
Taken me a while to actually decide to do it. Speaking of pharma companies, my brother is a biomedical scientist specialising in infectious diseases so all the Covid-19 testing and research he's very well into. Lots of companies had had massive SP jumps in March (presume when they announced plans to look for a vaccine) and then roughly a month later when they hit phase 1 testing. It's such a minefield. I've been using plus500, just as a start point as it's simple, but only has small range of companies.
Agreed Orms, fingers crossed with Mr T!
Very nice weekend thanks CS, Hope you did too. Bit of a mix for me. But basically get into a position with a good profit and then hold to at least 1.80. But if other shares look more profitable at some point then maybe take some funds there. There could be some interesting rises across the board over the next month or so, let’s see.
Don't worry Alex, I also bought some at .95, thinking this was going to go way higher.
Had just sold some, elsewhere, at good profits and, tbh, the money was burning a hole.
Originaly got in here @ 23.87 so was doing okay.
So I've kinda averaged up. Not down. Hey ho!
And as peeps are shouting out other shares.
If I may, and DYOR, please.
A couple I am in to big time are, ORPH and INFA.
Orph are a pharmaceutical services company which has a focus on orphan drugs and is the world leader in the testing of vaccines and antivirals using human challenge study models. Big news re. testing coming this week.
Worth a look.imo
Infa, recently bought the iconic Harland and Wolff ship yard in Belfast.
Lots happening re. contracts for several areas of building ships, turbines etc.
Big one to warch out for is if they they get their license for a gas storasge project in NI.
If that gets the go ahead it will go balistic.
Just sayin'. DYOR and all that.
Cheers, Si. :)
Yes, I bought as a long termer really, just to let them sit there and hopefully get better. Saw that ryanair shares were at 10p and contemplated those instead, however read that airlines could be in trouble for the next 4 or 5 years so talked myself out of that one in favour of Cineworld ??
As long as there is nothing overly negative that happens in the East as we sleep, and Trump refrains from a Sunday night pearler in the West, then you would like to think it could be a fairly solid day tomorrow.
In the near future you can see this flirting/teasing with the £1 mark before smashing through it at some point
First trade 86 to 87.. will cross 90 + easily tomorrow
Hi folks, bought my first shares, managed to get cineworld shares at 95. Missed where I wanted to get them as by the time I convinced myself to do it, it had jumped. Had my eye on a few, but looks like I picked a better possibility than some of the others.
