Agreed but I feel the US move was more coordinated and had built momentum, I think unfortunately this isn't the case here, Hope I'm proven wrong.
Podcast, In fairness while Cine won't run out of cash by May they have said their base case is on opening no later than May. If they open later than May then they "may" require support from their lenders. It's in Cineworld's own RNS.
RE: New Holland not being so bold to average up.
Had they done so yesterday or today at 88p then 10% could have been quickly recovered.
Difference so far with "short squeeze" here and in AMC and GME is they had audience of millions (participants maybe tens or hundreds of thousands PI's) we have a few dozen or maybe generously couple hundred.
Needs FAR wider audience to make the impact (IMHO).
we just need to follow US's lead, keep buying and force the shorters to close their 9% position, once one closes others will follow, SP will quickly snowball to £2.50 or £3 , thats when we sell not at 88p
Keep holding - mainstream news is now covering the short squeeze.
If we look ahead, Biden has a plan to deliver 100 million vaccinations in 100 days which takes the programme to April to deliver.
Cineworld will re-open in May by which point the US will have had all at risk groups vaccinated.
Be patient - the short squeeze is just starting.
AMC and GME rising quickly pre market
So annooyinngggggg just holdddddd
Somebody’s hedge fund paymasters are worried...
Get with the program, the collective internet is fighting back and if you still have shorts open, then you will only have yourselves to blame.
In the US people buy and hold, hence the massive short squeeze and 300% rise, here people get all excited and sell when its 10% up -.-
Jm4tw, even IDW knew CINE have cash until the end of 2021 closed, don’t talk sh*te about them running out of cash in May.
Someone isn’t paying attention to the internet and the situation with some American stocks..
If this squeezes anywhere like those then it could literally just be people messing around
Yes on cash burn and leeway.
Disagree though. We just saw the ease to obtain funding at its peer a few days back!

Good post and yes it's a bit of false dawn here atm as definitely unjustified at the current time..
I am not saying long term Cine won't be good but it's dodgy at more with this rise for wrong reasons.
Cineworld negotiated their finances quite nicely but remember, they do only have until May to reopen. They will stuggle by then and still might run out of cash. BJ has already delayed any reopening until 8th of March and US are far behind the UK on vaccine output (although Biden is trying to fix that).
I think this rise is now becoming unjustified. I think there's a big potential.for it to fall just as sharply. This price movement is pure trader manipulation against the shorts.
The move isn't business justified.
Come May, if they're still not open, if there's still no films, this company is in big trouble.
Let's face it, no one can say they've "invested" in this company during lockdown. They've gambled on this company. We all gambled on this companies survival but I do think we are near a tipping point now.
Cine have played all their Trump cards bar 1...a takeover.
And the owners clever little lump sum payout should numbers be hit (which suspiciously coincide with their 12 month high share price) is an indicated that might happen..
But it might not.
This share price is not justified.
